Abstract
Description
【0001】

[0006]
The above-mentioned problem can be solved when the fuse box is mounted on the upper surface of the battery box and the battery and the battery fuse are connected without using a lead wire. However, since the height of the fuse box is large, a large space is required above the battery box. Therefore, when the height is limited in the space, there is a problem that the fuse box cannot be mounted on the battery box.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and has as its object to provide a low-height fuse box that does not increase in height so that it can be suitably mounted on a battery box.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a case in which a lower cover and an upper cover are assembled to a case body to form a box, and an input terminal is provided inside the box sealed by the lower cover and the upper cover from one side of the fuse body. A large-capacity fuse with the left and right sides protruding in the left and right directions is housed sideways to make it low profile, and the input terminal and the output terminal are connected to the input side bus bar and the output side bus bar housed in the box, respectively. A fuse box is provided, wherein one end of the fuse box is screwed and fixed in an overlapping state.
[0009]
As described above, the fuses are not housed vertically and vertically in the fuse box, but are housed horizontally in a lying position, so even large-capacity fuses can be made low-profile, and there are restrictions in the height direction. It can also be arranged at locations.
Furthermore, the input terminal and the output terminal protruding from the fuse body are arranged so as to open outward in the orthogonal direction with respect to both sides of the fusing portion buried in the fuse body, so that the fuse in the sideways state can be opened. The length in the horizontal direction can be shortened, and the box containing the fuse does not become horizontally long, so that the size can be reduced.
In addition, the input terminal and the output terminal that open outward in the direction away from each other overlap with one end of the input-side bus bar and one end of the output-side bus bar, respectively, and are screw-fixed and housed in the box. A large-sized fuse can be fixed in a stable state.
[0010]
The fuse box is used as a fuse box for housing a battery fuse.
The fuse box containing the battery fuse is mounted on an upper surface of the battery box, and an input battery to be fastened to the input terminal of the battery fuse is fastened to a battery terminal to be externally fitted and fixed to a battery post projecting from the upper surface of the battery. Electrical connection.
[0011]
As described above, when the fuse is housed in the sideways posture, the screw tightening of the input terminal and the input side bus bar, and the screwing of the output terminal and the output side bus bar are also horizontal. Therefore, when maintenance is required, it is necessary to remove the screw from the side, and the workability is extremely deteriorated. However, when the fuse is a battery fuse, there is no inconvenience because the maintenance is hardly performed. On the contrary, there is an advantage that the battery fuse cannot be removed carelessly.
In addition, since the fuse box has a low profile with the battery fuse lying down, the fuse box can be mounted on the top of the battery box even if the height of the top of the battery box is limited. Space can be used effectively.
Further, since the battery terminal and the battery fuse are connected via the input-side bus bar, the lead wire required in the conventional example of FIG. 6 can be omitted, the number of working steps can be reduced, and electrical connection can be achieved. The reliability can be improved.
[0012]
In the fuse box, the case body is molded from a heat-resistant nylon resin, the lower cover and the upper cover are molded from polypropylene, and the upper cover is locked to the lower cover and the opening / closing lid is closed. After the battery terminal connected to the battery post is fastened to the bus bar, the opening / closing lid is closed, and the opening / closing lid is locked to the lower cover.
[0013]
With this configuration, since the case body is formed of a heat-resistant nylon resin, there is no possibility that the large-capacity fuse and the bus bar will be melted even when heated. On the other hand, since the lower cover and the upper cover are molded from polypropylene having chemical resistance, there is no problem even if the battery liquid adheres, and the cost is not increased because polypropylene is cheaper than nylon. .
[0014]
Also, the upper cover is previously locked to the lower cover, the fuse box is placed and fixed on the battery box, and the battery terminal fitted and fixed to the battery post and the battery fuse side are fastened. Since the provided opening / closing part is closed, mounting of the fuse box on the battery box can be performed with good workability.

【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the fuse is housed in the box in a downside posture and has a low profile, so that it can be arranged even in a place where there is a restriction in the height direction. Particularly, in the case of a large capacity battery fuse, it becomes taller when it is placed vertically in the weight direction. However, since the battery fuse is housed in a sideways position and made low, it is necessary to use a fuse box to house the battery fuse. It can be suitably used.
[0028]
As described above, if the fuse box containing the battery fuse is made low, the fuse box can be mounted on the battery box even when the space on the battery box is small.
Also, since the fuse box is directly attached to the battery box, the battery fuse in the fuse box can be electrically connected to the battery post via the battery terminal without passing through the lead wire, thereby improving the electrical connection reliability. Can be.
