Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a leaflet on which advertisement information is printed is placed in an envelope, and mailed and delivered to each customer as, for example, direct mail. Recently, advertising information is printed without using an envelope, and mailing / delivery is performed by describing an address or name of a customer on an envelope type flyer folded to a predetermined size. In such an envelope-type flyer, an insert such as a postcard or an attached flyer is inserted into the inside in order to increase the information amount of the advertisement.
[0003]
Conventionally, in order to manufacture an envelope type flyer enclosing an enclosure, a leaflet cut to a predetermined size is folded by a folding machine so as to become, for example, a standard size envelope type flyer, and in the middle of the folding process. The contents were inserted manually, and then folded again by the folding machine. Finally, the ends of the folded surfaces were stuck together by a press to form an envelope-type flyer.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, conventionally, when manufacturing an envelope-type flyer, the enclosed material is manually inserted, so that there has been a problem that it is difficult to increase the processing speed.
[0005]
In addition, there is a problem that manual labor requires labor costs, and mistakes such as forgetting to insert or mistakes in inserting are likely to occur.
[0006]
Furthermore, since the enclosure is not fixed inside the envelope type flyer, the enclosure often shifts during folding and becomes a defective product. Further, when the customer opens the envelope-type flyer, the enclosure may fall on the floor surface and become dirty or lost. For this reason, there is a problem that not only gives the customer an unpleasant impression, but also makes it impossible for the customer to see the enclosure.
[0007]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide an envelope-type flyer production method capable of producing an envelope-type flyer at a high speed and at a low cost, and capable of producing an envelope-type flyer in which an enclosure does not drop with opening. Is to do.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, an envelope type flyer production method according to the present invention includes a paper feeding step of supplying a base paper on which advertisement information is printed at predetermined intervals, and a crease for folding the base paper, A base paper processing step of dividing the sheet into a sheet-shaped main body leaflet, a first gluing step of applying an adhesive in a dot-like manner to a predetermined position on a folding surface of the main body flyer, A second gluing step of linearly applying the adhesive along the line, an enclosing supply step of supplying the enclosing substance to a predetermined location where the adhesive is applied in a point shape, and the main body flyer along the crease. The method includes a folding step of folding, and a bonding step of bonding the ends of the folded surfaces to which the adhesive has been applied linearly to form an envelope-type flyer.
[0009]

As these adhesives, it is possible to use, for example, hot melt adhesives based on thermoplastic polymers. This type of hot melt is one in which the adhesion is completed immediately by simply allowing it to cool after heating, and it is possible to produce various types of adhesives of a weak adhesive type, a strong adhesive type, and a removable type. In the form, an adhesive having a strength that can be easily removed by hand is used. Although an example using a hot melt as an adhesive has been described here, fixing of the enclosure is not limited to the hot melt, and may be used by selecting from other adhesives that function equally. [0065]
The example of FIG. 5B is an example of a large size. In this case, it is folded in an M shape along a horizontal streak, and then folded in a V shape along a central vertical streak. An envelope-type flyer of a standard size is obtained by alternately folding in a substantially V shape along a vertical streak.
[0066]
FIG. 5C shows an example of a medium-sized size. In this case, the sheet is folded in a V shape along a horizontal streak, and then folded in a V shape along a central vertical streak. An envelope-type flyer of a standard size is obtained by alternately folding in a substantially V shape along a vertical streak.
[0067]
The example of FIG. 5D is an example of a small size. In this case, it is folded in a V shape along a horizontal streak, and then alternately folded in a substantially V shape along two vertical streaks. In this way, a standard size envelope type flyer is obtained.
[0068]
It should be noted that the envelope type flyer in the present invention is not necessarily required to be a fixed size, and may be a non-standard size.
[0069]
In addition, the envelope type flyer that can be manufactured by the production method according to the present invention is not limited to the example in FIG. 5 and may require a plurality of foldings. Incidentally, the simplest shape of the envelope type flyer which can be manufactured by the production method according to the present invention is, as shown in FIG. Is to be glued.
[0070]
On the other hand, FIG. 6 shows an example of the arrangement of the enclosure to be attached to the

[0073]
In addition, in the example of FIG. 6, an example is shown in which the adhesive is applied to the four corners of the enclosure in a dot-like manner, but may be applied to only one location at the center of the enclosure, or two locations, or You may apply | coat to three places or more places.
[0074]
In addition, as an insert to be put in the envelope type flyer, in addition to the postcard and the attached flyer illustrated in the present embodiment, a discount ticket, a voucher, a prepaid card, or a flexible disk, MD, CD-ROM, or the like can be used. .
[0075]
According to the above-mentioned system, when manufacturing an envelope type flyer, the enclosure is automatically supplied to a predetermined location, so that the processing speed can be increased as compared with the case where the enclosure is manually inserted.
[0076]
In addition, labor costs are not required as in a manual operation, and it is possible to prevent mistakes such as forgetting to insert or mistaken insertion.
[0077]
Furthermore, since the enclosure is fixed by a temporary adhesive which can be peeled off inside the envelope type flyer, the enclosure does not shift and become defective when folded. In addition, when the customer opens the envelope type flyer, the enclosure does not drop onto the floor, so that the customer does not give an unpleasant impression and the customer can surely see the enclosure. .
[0078]
Therefore, according to the system of the present embodiment, it is possible to produce an envelope-type flyer at a high speed and at a low cost, and to manufacture an envelope-type flyer in which the enclosed material does not drop with opening.
[0079]
Next, detection and elimination of defective products will be described.
[0080]
FIG. 7 is a block diagram showing a schematic configuration of a system for detecting and eliminating defective products (hereinafter, a defective product control system). 7, the same parts as those in FIG. 1 are indicated by the same reference numerals. FIG. 7 conceptually shows the configuration of the defect detection system, and the arrangement and configuration of each unit do not always match those of FIG.
[0081]
First, a configuration for detecting a print failure mark and stopping printing will be described.
[0082]
As shown in FIG. 7, a printing failure mark P indicating a printing failure of the advertisement information is attached to a marginal end portion of the
