TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a thin motor used for a magnetic disk drive and the like and a method for manufacturing the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional thin motor used for a magnetic disk drive or the like. In this thin motor, a rotor yoke 2 is fixed to a shaft 1 and a rotor magnet 3 is attached to the inner periphery of the rotor yoke 2 to form a rotator unit A. A radial bearing 4 that receives the shaft 1 in the radial direction and a thrust bearing 5 that receives the shaft 1 in the axial direction constitute a bearing unit B. The bearing unit B is fitted and fixed in a hole 7a of a cylindrical motor mounting portion 7 formed in the motor base 6, and the inner circumference of the stator core 8 is bonded and fixed to a step 7b on the outer circumference of the motor mounting portion 7. The tip portions 9a of the plurality of T-shaped winding portions 9 of the stator core 8, as also shown in an enlarged view in FIG. Thus, by applying a current to the winding 10, a magnetic field is generated in the stator core 8, the rotor magnet 3 is excited, and a rotational torque is generated in the rotor yoke 2.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional thin motor as described above, the stator core 8 is formed by laminating the stator plates, and the laminating process and the mounting process to the motor mounting portion are complicated and time-consuming.
[0004]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and has as its object to provide a thin motor in which a stator core can be easily formed and mounted.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention according to claim 1 has a rotor yoke which has a rotor magnet on an inner peripheral portion or an outer peripheral portion, and is rotatably supported on a motor base, and has a tip portion attached to the rotor magnet. And a stator core comprising a plurality of winding portions opposed to each other, wherein the plurality of winding portions constituting the stator core are formed on the motor base having a hole portion for supporting the rotor yoke. It is characterized by being cut out in a tongue shape along the radial direction of the hole portion and integrally formed, and each of the winding portions is bent so that a tip portion faces the rotor magnet, It is easy to create a winding part as a stator core, no installation is required, and the number of parts and man-hours can be reduced.
[0006]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the thin motor according to the first aspect, the entire motor base including the plurality of winding portions is formed of a silicon steel plate, and is integrated with the motor base. By doing so, the electrical characteristics of the winding portion as the stator core are not impaired.
[0007]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a rotor yoke having a rotor magnet at an inner peripheral portion or an outer peripheral portion thereof, and a rotor yoke rotatably supported on a motor base, and a plurality of winding portions opposed to the rotor magnet at a distal end portion. When manufacturing a thin motor having a stator core comprising: a motor base having a hole portion for supporting the rotor yoke, and a plurality of winding portions constituting the stator core formed in the motor base; It is characterized by being cut out like a tongue along the radial direction and integrally formed, and each of the winding portions is bent so that the tip end faces the rotor magnet, and the stator core is independently formed. The manufacturing process can be simplified, and a thin motor can be manufactured with good production efficiency and at low cost, as compared with the conventional method of making and attaching to a motor base.
[0008]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the method for manufacturing a thin motor according to the third aspect, the step of notching a plurality of winding portions in the motor base and the step of bending each winding portion are performed by press working. Since both steps can be performed simultaneously, the manufacturing steps can be further simplified.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a thin motor according to one embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, members having the same functions as those in the conventional thin motor described above with reference to FIG. 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in FIG.
[0010]
As shown in FIG. 1, this thin motor is an outer rotor type motor and has substantially the same configuration as the conventional thin motor shown in FIG. The rotator unit A is configured such that a rotor yoke 2 is fixed to a shaft 1 and a rotor magnet 3 is attached to an inner periphery of the rotor yoke 2. The bearing unit B includes a radial bearing 4 that receives the shaft 1 in the radial direction, and a thrust bearing 5 that receives the shaft 1 in the axial direction.
[0011]
The shaft 1 of the rotator unit A is inserted into the bearing unit B in which the hole 7a of the cylindrical motor mounting portion 7 of the motor base 6 is fitted and fixed. The stator core 8 including the T-shaped winding portions 9 is arranged such that the arc-shaped tip 9 a of each T-shaped winding portion 9 faces the rotor magnet 3. A winding 10 is wound around the tip 9a of the T-shaped winding part 9.
[0012]
This thin motor is different from the conventional thin motor in that a plurality of T-shaped winding portions 9 constituting a stator core 8 are mounted on a motor base 6 on which a cylindrical motor mounting portion 7 is formed as described above. Each of the T-shaped winding portions 9 is bent in an L-shape such that the tip 9a faces the rotor magnet 3 so as to be integrally formed by being cut out in a tongue shape along the radial direction of the portion 7. That is the point. The opening 6a formed by the notch and bending of the T-shaped winding portion 9 is closed by a closing member 6b.
[0013]
In detail, the T-shaped winding portion 9 is provided on the flat portion of the motor base 6 extending outward from the lower end of the motor mounting portion 7 so that the tip 9 a is located near the rotor magnet 3. It is notched inward along the radial direction, is bent obliquely upward at the bent portion 9b, and is bent outward at the bent portion 9c, so as to be opposed to the rotor magnet 3. The entire motor base 6 including the respective T-shaped winding portions 9 is formed of a silicon steel plate conventionally used as a material of the stator core 8.
[0014]
When producing such a motor base 6, the cylindrical motor mounting portion 7 and the plurality of T-shaped winding portions 9 are sequentially formed in the flow of press working of a sheet metal (silicon steel sheet). Of these, for the plurality of T-shaped winding portions 9, both the step of cutting out in a tongue shape and the step of bending can be performed simultaneously.
[0015]
Therefore, the number of parts and the number of steps can be reduced as compared with the conventional method in which the stator core 8 is independently formed and attached to the motor base 6. Conventionally, this stator core process has occupied a large ratio with respect to the cost of the entire motor, so that a significant cost reduction can be realized.
[0016]
Since the entire motor base 6 including the T-shaped winding portion 9 is formed of a silicon steel plate as described above, the electrical characteristics of the T-shaped winding portion 9 as the stator core 8 are not impaired.
[0017]
In addition, since the stator core is not formed by laminating the stator plates as in the related art, the current thin motor, such as a 1 ″ HDD, has a capacity limit of about two 0.2 mm thick stator plates. In this case, it is possible to obtain the same characteristics as when using the laminated type stator core by changing the specification of the windings when using the laminated type stator core. is there.
[0018]
To configure an inner rotor type motor similar to the above-described thin motor, as shown in FIG. 2, a T-shaped winding portion 9 is located on a flat portion of a motor base 6 and a tip portion 9a is located near the rotor magnet 3. As described above, the T-shaped winding portion 9 may be bent obliquely upward at the bent portion 9d and bent inward at the bent portion 9e. .
[0019]
Note that the motor mounting portion 7 is not limited to the cylindrical shape as described above, and it is sufficient that the motor mounting portion 7 has a hole 7a into which the bearing unit B can be fitted and fixed. The motor base 6 can be formed by a method such as metal injection in addition to the above-described press working.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the thin motor of the present invention is formed such that a plurality of winding portions constituting a stator are cut out and integrally formed on a motor base, and each winding portion is bent so that a tip end thereof faces a rotor magnet. As a result, it is possible to make the device thinner than before, and to configure it with high production efficiency and at low cost.
