Description

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to daily care of a meat ball portion in pet animals such as dogs and cats. More specifically, an object of the present invention is to soften the meat ball portion hardened by daily environment and aging according to the present invention, thereby preventing the meat ball portion from being hardened and keeping it healthy.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, indoor breeding of dogs and cats, which are common pet animals, is becoming mainstream. This is because dog breeding was formerly done in the yard and cats were kept free, but due to housing conditions especially in urban areas, the yard area could not be secured until suitable for dog breeding. It is considered that the environment is such that cats are not allowed to be free-range cats because they are so thin. For this reason, there are many cases in which most of the rearing environment is indoors, such as when the house is closed and free-raising is performed inside the house, or when the house is usually raised in a cage and released only when necessary.
[0003]
The structure of the soles of dogs, cats, and the like consists of a finger having claws and a portion called a paw, and most of the contact portions are paws. The surface of the paws consists of a thickened stratum corneum and hardens due to the external environment and aging. In general, each of the functions during exercise is such that the finger portion firmly holds the ground to transmit force, and the meat ball portion plays a cushion-like role to absorb the shock during exercise.
[0004]
However, the meat ball portion hardened by aging or the external environment may not exhibit a sufficient shock absorbing effect. Therefore, conventionally, as a method of protecting the meat ball, a method of imparting a moisturizing effect with an oily base such as wax or cream has been generally performed. However, in these methods, since the meat ball portion is sticky for a long time, defecation is performed. There is a problem that sand and the like sometimes adhere and the inside of the room is full of sand. In addition, it causes stains on the floor, such as footprints, and is not suitable for indoor rearing.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a meat ball protecting composition having an effect of preventing hardening of the meat ball portion and keeping it healthy. In addition, there is a feature that there is no stickiness and there is no adhesion of sand or a footprint on the floor.
[0006]
Means for Solving the Problems In view of the above circumstances, the present inventors have conducted intensive studies to obtain a meat ball protecting composition having an excellent meat ball softening effect. As a result, the present inventors have found that raffinose and xanthan gum are compounded. The present inventors have found that a target effect can be obtained with a meat ball protecting composition characterized by the following, and have completed the present invention.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
By adding raffinose and xanthan gum, the meat ball protecting composition of the present invention can be obtained. That is, raffinose used in the present invention is a substance having a rare characteristic that it has a moisturizing effect but does not have a hygroscopic property. It has also been found that the addition of xanthan gum, a kind of polysaccharide, synergistically improves the moisturizing effect but does not cause stickiness. Further, by continuously using the product of the present invention, a meat ball which tends to be hardened and cracked especially in an adult dog or an adult cat is kept soft and smooth.
[0008]
Raffinose used in the present invention is an oligosaccharide obtained by separation and purification from beet (sugar radish), and is also contained a lot in soybeans, eucalyptus and the like. Basically, it is a crystalline white needle-like powder that is soluble in water and contains five molecules of water of crystallization. It also has good heat resistance and acid resistance, and is almost as stable as sucrose.
The chemical structure is a trisaccharide composed of D-galactose, D-glucose, and D-fructose (Gal-G-Fru).
Extremely low hygroscopicity and does not absorb moisture even when stored at 90% relative humidity for 6 months.
[0009]
Raffinose is incorporated in an amount of 0.5 to 10.0% by weight, particularly 1.0 to 5.0% by weight, based on the total composition, so that good moisture retention can be obtained. There is no adhesion of sand and no footprint. It is also preferable in terms of safety and stability.
[0010]
The xanthan gum used in the present invention is a natural gum obtained by fermenting hydrocarbons using Xanthomonas campestris and purifying polysaccharides accumulated outside the cells. The composition consists of the sodium, potassium, and calcium salts of D-glucose, D-mannose, D-glucuronic acid. The molecular weight is several millions to tens of millions, which is very large as compared with the molecular weight of other general natural gums, so that it has characteristic viscosity characteristics. It is widely used as a raw material for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and chemically synthesized products, and has good safety.
[0011]
When the amount of the xanthan gum is 0.01 to 0.5% by weight, particularly 0.05 to 0.2% by weight in the total composition, a good pad protecting effect and a moisturizing effect can be obtained, and safety is improved. It is also preferable in terms of stability.
[0012]
The components blended in the composition of the present invention are shown below. At the time of blending, it is within a quantitative and qualitative range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. Of course, it is not limited to this. Thickeners, surfactants, preservatives, oily components, antioxidants, drugs, fragrances or other volatile components may be included. However, the oil component is preferably as small as possible or not added to enhance the effects of the present invention, but it is preferable that the oil components such as various plant extracts and fragrances impair the effects of the present invention. Absent.
[0013]
For example, as a thickener, carboxyvinyl polymer, sodium polyacrylate, acrylic acid polymers such as polyacrylamide, hydroxyethyl cellulose, alginic acid, polysaccharides such as agar, bentonite, hectorite, silicic anhydride and the like A commonly used thickener such as an inorganic thickener is used. Examples of the surfactant include polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, sorbitan fatty acid ester, glycerin fatty acid ester, polyglycerin fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester, and polyoxyethylene cured castor. Nonionic surfactants such as oils and alkyl ether-modified silicones are used. Commonly used preservatives such as paraoxybenzoate and sodium benzoate are used as preservatives, and commonly used antioxidants such as tocopherol, dibutylhydroxytoluene and butylhydroxyanisole are used as antioxidants. Used. As the drug, commonly used drugs such as vitamins such as vitamin Cs and vitamin E, sulfur, various amino acids, crude drugs, anti-inflammatory agents, bactericides and the like are used.
[0014]
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to Examples, but the technical scope of the present invention should not be interpreted in a limited manner. In addition, the compounding quantity of the composition shown in the following tables is all shown by weight%.
