Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0073】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a verification system that performs a verification test of a cause of a failure occurring in a communication system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in order to investigate the cause of a communication system where a failure such as a failure or trouble has occurred, using a communication system where the failure has actually occurred, a variety of test equipment was installed at the location where the event was assumed to have occurred. Are additionally connected, a verification test is performed, and a measure is taken based on the test result.
[0003]
FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram illustrating a configuration example of a communication system. The communication system 100 shown in FIG. 1 includes
[0004]
In the communication system 100, it is assumed that an event that is considered to be a failure such as “the
[0005]
(1) When it is assumed that external noise is superimposed
FIG. 8 is an explanatory diagram in a case where the cause of the failure is assumed to be “because external noise is superimposed on a specific communication line section”. When external noise is superimposed on the communication line, the electric signal propagating in the communication system is disturbed, and the receiving side cannot recognize the electric signal transmitted from the
[0006]
Therefore, the oscilloscope 81 is used to sequentially search for noise in each of the communication lines (1) to (9) to check for abnormal noise. For example, if it is determined that abnormal noise of frequency f is superimposed on the communication line (5) (metal dedicated line 121), a noise cut for cutting the frequency f on the communication line (5) is performed. A countermeasure for inserting the filter 83 is taken, and it is confirmed whether or not the event “slow response” is eliminated.
[0007]
(2) When the network load is assumed to be large
FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram in the case where the cause of the failure is assumed to be "because the network load in a specific communication line section is large". If the network load such as NW (Network) traffic is heavy (heavy), data transmission delay or loss occurs due to an increase in the number of packets waiting to be transmitted in each communication device, and the user of the
[0008]
Therefore, the protocol analyzer 91 (or an NW traffic measuring device for measuring NW traffic) is sequentially inserted into each of the communication lines (1) to (9) to check whether an abnormal packet flows and an excessive network load occurs. To explore. If an abnormality is found, the event of the packet is analyzed by the protocol analyzer 91 to narrow down the cause. After the cause is determined, appropriate measures are taken, and it is confirmed whether or not the “slow response” event is resolved. For example, when an unnecessary protocol is set in the setting of the router, an unnecessary packet is transmitted, and NW traffic may increase. In this case, by removing unnecessary protocols in the setting of the interface of the router, the load due to the NW traffic can be reduced.
[0009]
(3) When it is assumed that there is a communication device setting problem
FIG. 10 is an explanatory diagram in the case where the failure cause is assumed to be “communication device setting failure”. The communication devices communicate with each other according to a predetermined communication method and communication procedure. If some of the communication devices do not satisfy the communication method or communication procedure, communication is impossible at all, or even if communication is possible, there are many errors, and data errors, retransmissions, transmission delays, loss As a result, similarly to the above two causes, the user of the
[0010]
Therefore, the protocol analyzer 91 is inserted into each of the communication lines (1) to (9) to search for abnormal packets or communication errors. When an abnormality is found, it is checked whether or not a normal communication state has been obtained while correcting a malfunction of the communication device setting. For example, when it is determined that there is an interface mismatch between communication devices, the settings of the communication device are checked and changed to ensure interface consistency.
[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In general, the causes of communication system failures that connect multiple communication devices include the failures and bugs of communication devices, disconnection of communication cables, characteristics of communication cables, power supply problems, lightning damage, It is often difficult to guess and identify the cause of such mistakes (human errors). Even in the case of the relatively simple communication system 100 shown in FIG. 7, there are nine communication line sections where a failure is assumed, and it is difficult to analogize where a failure has occurred. You have to spend a lot of time to verify.
[0012]
In particular, in the above-mentioned prior art, since a communication system in which a fault has actually occurred is used, even if a fault has occurred, the communication system is already in operation, and the communication line is disconnected or monitored for testing. At the same time, it is often impossible to change the settings of each communication device without confirming the cause of the failure.
[0013]
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to generate the same event as an actually occurring failure using a communication system equivalent to the communication system in which the failure has occurred. It is an object of the present invention to provide a verification system that enables the cause of the failure to be quickly investigated.

Initial setting state storage means for storing an initial setting state of a plurality of test communication devices each having: and reading an initial setting state of the plurality of test communication devices from the initial setting state storage means, and And an initial setting state returning means for returning each of the communication devices to the initial setting state.
[0017]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, in the verification system according to the first aspect, an initial setting state storing means for storing an initial setting state of the plurality of test communication devices, and a plurality of tests are stored from the initial setting state storing means. Initialization state return means for reading out the initial setting state of the communication device for each and returning each of the plurality of test communication devices to the initial setting state, so that each test communication device is initialized after the verification test is completed. You can return to the setting state.
[0018]
The gist of the present invention described in
[0019]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, in the verification system of the first or second aspect, the pseudo line means is at least one of a pseudo line device satisfying an electric line condition equivalent to a communication cable and a communication line of a communication system. By using, for example, a communication system or the like equivalent to a communication system for performing communication between long-distance terminals can be artificially constructed in a laboratory.

The present invention according to
[0023]
The gist of the present invention described in
[0024]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, an external noise is applied to each communication line of the test communication system by using an external noise applying device as a failure reproducing device when external noise is assumed to be a cause of the failure.
[0025]
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, the fault reproduction means is a network load application device for increasing network traffic and applying a load to an electric signal propagating between the test communication devices.
[0026]
According to the sixth aspect of the present invention, a network load such as a bottleneck is generated on a communication line of a test communication system by using a network load application device as a failure reproducing means when a network load is assumed to be a failure cause.
