【0001】

ここでは、欧州DAB(ETS300401 ETSI規格)を例にとり説明する。
【0056】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method of controlling synchronization with a clock on a transmission side in a digital broadcast receiver, and in particular, does not require a voltage-controlled oscillator or a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator for clock synchronization with a transmission side, and is a relatively inexpensive crystal. The present invention relates to a digital broadcast receiver that can perform audio reproduction in synchronization with a transmission side clock even using an oscillator.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In analog broadcasting, since a signal is transmitted by analog modulation, the receiver may receive and reproduce the signal without using a clock. However, in digital broadcasting, the receiver needs to synchronize with the clock of the transmitter. For example, in an MPEG2-transport stream (hereinafter, referred to as TS), time stamp information called a program clock reference (hereinafter, referred to as PCR) is prepared. The receiver side synchronizes the internal clock with a system clock on the transmission side by synchronizing the internal clock based on the time stamp information with a phase locked loop circuit (hereinafter, referred to as a PLL). In the TS of MPEG2, the frequency of the system clock is 27 MHz.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when synchronizing between transmission and reception in such a configuration, it is desired that the system clock generator on the receiver side reproduce the clock with high accuracy. For this reason, a voltage controlled crystal oscillator is generally used as the system clock generator, but this method leads to an increase in the cost of the receiver. The PLL is used not only for generating the system clock but also for generating the DAC clock. Here, too, there is a problem that the use of a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator further increases the cost of the receiver.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of such a conventional problem, and does not use an expensive voltage-controlled oscillator or voltage-controlled crystal oscillator as a system clock generator, but uses a cheaper crystal oscillator.
