Abstract
Description
【0001】
R=P2/8h・・・・(1)
S=R2sin−1(P/2R)−(P/2)√(R2−(P2/4)・・・・・(2)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an engine bearing device, and more particularly, to an engine bearing device including a main bearing and a connecting rod bearing, and further including a lubricating oil passage for supplying lubricating oil to the connecting rod bearing via the main bearing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a bearing device for an engine, a main bearing provided in a main body of the engine to support a main shaft portion of a crankshaft and having an oil groove extending in a circumferential direction over substantially a half circumference of an inner peripheral surface thereof, There is known a connecting rod bearing provided on a connecting rod to support a crankpin of the crankshaft, and a lubricating oil passage for supplying lubricating oil to the connecting rod bearing via the main bearing.
The lubricating oil passage includes a through hole formed in the main shaft portion of the crankshaft in a diametric direction and communicating with the oil groove, and a lubricating oil passage communicating with the through hole formed in the crankshaft and an outer periphery of the crankpin. A lubricating oil supplied to the oil groove is supplied to the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing via the through hole and the passage.
According to the bearing device having such a configuration, the lubricating oil supplied to the oil groove provided in the main bearing is supplied to the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing through the through hole and the passage formed in the crankshaft. That part will be lubricated.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the engine bearing device having the above-described configuration, the oil groove of the main bearing is formed only over substantially a half circumference, and therefore, the opening of the through hole formed in the main shaft portion of the crankshaft is formed by the crankshaft. With rotation, only one comes into communication with the oil groove.
That is, when one of the openings communicates with the oil groove, the lubricating oil flows from the oil groove to the through-hole through the opening. Since the communication is interrupted, a negative pressure is likely to be generated near the opening at this moment. Subsequently, the other opening communicates with the oil groove, so that the hydraulic pressure (positive pressure) from the other opening acts on the vicinity of the opening.
As described above, the openings at both ends of the through-hole alternately communicate with the oil groove, so that the flow of the lubricating oil at each opening is intermittent, thereby easily causing cavitation. Then, the cavity due to the cavitation is supplied to the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing through the through hole and the passage, and when crushed at this portion, cavitation erosion is generated, thereby damaging the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing. .
In view of such a problem, the present invention has been made to effectively prevent the occurrence of erosion in an engine bearing device having the above configuration.
[Means for Solving the Problems]
That is, the present invention provides a main bearing provided on an engine main body portion, which supports a main shaft portion of a crankshaft and has an oil groove extending in a circumferential direction over substantially a half circumference of an inner peripheral surface thereof, and a connecting rod provided on a connecting rod. A connecting rod bearing for supporting a crankpin of the crankshaft, and a lubricating oil passage for supplying lubricating oil to the connecting rod bearing via the main bearing.
The lubricating oil passage is formed in a main shaft portion of the crankshaft in a diametric direction and communicates with the oil groove, and is formed in the crankshaft and communicates with the through hole, and is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the crankpin. An open passage, wherein the lubricating oil supplied to the oil groove is supplied to the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing through the through hole and the passage.
A large number of small-groove annular grooves extending in the circumferential direction are formed adjacent to each other in the axial direction on the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing, and the sectional area of each annular groove is set to 5 × 10 −4 (mm 2 ) or more. Things.
[0005]
As is clear from the test results described later, by forming a large number of annular grooves on the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing and setting the cross-sectional area of each annular groove to 5 × 10 −4 (mm 2 ) or more, Even if the cavity generated at the opening of the through hole is supplied to the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing together with the lubricating oil, the cavity is quickly discharged to the outside from the inner peripheral surface of the connecting rod bearing before the cavity is crushed. Will be able to do it. Therefore, erosion caused by crushing of the cavity can be effectively prevented.
