Description

【0001】

[0001]
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a paper hopper for a printer having a paper guide that regulates the width direction of the paper and is adjustable in front and rear width.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Hereinafter, a prior art will be described with reference to FIG. 1 illustrating a mechanism of a paper hopper having front and rear paper guides used in a printer.
[0003]
The flat paper guide 1 is fixed to a slide rack 2 and is movable in the arrow direction along a guide pin 6. Similarly, the paper guide 4 is fixed to the slide rack 5, is movable in the direction of the arrow along the guide pin 6, and is installed at a position facing the paper guide 1 around the center gear 7. Although the positions of the paper guides 1 and 4 are adjusted according to the change in the paper width, the structure is such that the print paper is always regulated to the center by the center gear 7.
[0004]
A rack is provided on the upper portion of the paper guide 1 for the purpose of preventing the paper guide 1 from falling down, and a rack gear 8 is engaged with the rack. Since the rack gear 8 has an integral structure with the rack gear 8 and the shaft 3 that mesh with the rack provided on the lower slide rack 2, the upper part of the paper guide 1 is prevented from falling down. Similarly, the paper guide 4 has the same structure as the paper guide 1, and the upper part is restricted from falling.
[0005]
After regulating the sheet width, the sheet guides 1 and 4 are fixed (the fixing method is not shown).
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Generally, positional accuracy of printing paper is important for ensuring print quality. The conventional rack structure requires two sets of front and rear shafts and gears and a center gear, so it is difficult to secure the positional accuracy of the printing paper. Accuracy is required and it is expensive. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art and to provide a paper hopper for a printer having a low-cost paper guide that does not require high-precision parts.
[0007]
[Means for solving the problem]
The above object is achieved by providing a slidable rack in which front and rear paper guides can be coupled at a position where a pair of shafts and gears face each other, and fixing upper and lower portions of the paper guide to the rack. This makes it possible to realize two functions of adjusting the width of the paper guide and preventing the paper guide from falling down with a simple configuration.
[0008]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an example of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 2 shows a paper hopper structure diagram according to the present invention.
In FIG. 2, the first paper guide 10 is fixed to the rack 11 on the lower side and to the rack 12 on the upper side, and is movable in the direction of the arrow along the guide pins 13. The rack 11 and the rack 12 are provided with a small rack 11a and a small rack 12a, respectively. The opposing rack gear 14 and gear shaft 15 are integrated, and the movement is performed in synchronization.
[0009]
Similarly, the second paper guide 16 is fixed to the rack 17 on the lower side and to the rack 18 on the upper side, and is movable in the direction of the arrow along the guide pin 13. The rack 17 and the rack 18 are provided with a small rack 17a and a small rack 18a, respectively. The opposing rack gear 14 and gear shaft 15 are integrated and the movement is performed in synchronization.
[0010]
Since the first paper guide 10 and the second paper guide 16 are moved in opposite directions by the rack mechanism, printing papers having different widths are always regulated to the center.
[0011]
In the above structure, since the first paper guide 10 and the second paper guide 16 are fixed at their upper parts to the small racks 12 and 18 held by the rack gear 14, there is no occurrence of falling.
[0012]
After regulating the printing paper, the first paper guide 10 and the second paper guide 16 are fixed (the fixing method is not shown).
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the top and bottom of the front and rear paper guides are fixed to the rack that moves synchronously by the gears fixed to the top and bottom of one shaft, so that the components of the paper hopper require high precision. And a low-cost paper hopper can be provided.
