ィルム2にラベル1が配列された状態で巻き取られる。
ラベル1は剥離フィルム2から剥がされて図4に示す様
に筆記具11等の軸面に手で貼着されたり、自動組立機
の工程で図5の様に剥離フィルムを屈曲させ、ラベル1
の端部を浮き上がらせた状態にして機械的に取り出して
貼着する方法等がとられる。ベースフィルムの材質によ
り適宜厚さが選定されるが、例えばポリエステル製のベ
ースフィルムの場合では通常ラベル1は厚さが10μm
から100μm程度であるが、25μm以下だと浮き上
がり状態が不完全となって自動機械による貼着に問題が
生じる。又、ラベル1が厚い場合には曲率の大きい曲面
に貼った時に粘着力がラベルの復元力に負けて図4に示
す様にラベルの端部が剥がれる問題がある。通常は被着
物の材質に適合した粘着材の選定、ラベルの厚さが設定
されるが、被着面の曲率が大きく、接着性が悪い材質に
設定せざるを得ない場合も多く、又、自動機械による貼
着に必要とする条件に適合しない問題がある場合もあ
る。また、一時的に貼着されても高温、多湿の経時状態
で剥がれ易い問題が存在する。そこで、この問題を解決
するべく実開平7−29568が提案されている。
