Data protection can be performed. However, this conventional system is not compatible with the uninterruptible power supply 240 and the power supply 200.
Since the AC / DC converter and the DC / DC converter of No. 2 have a dual structure, they have a redundant device configuration, and there is a problem that the entire power supply system becomes large and the number of parts increases. In addition, in the above-mentioned conventional technique, the AC power supply units 150 and 1
If a failure occurs on the input side of the uninterruptible power supply 240 or 241 and 60, the redundant and uninterruptible power supply can deal with it, but if one system is focused on, only the failure of the AC power supply is dealt with. I can't
There is a problem that it cannot be dealt with when the uninterruptible power supply or the AC / DC converter of the power supply fails.

The backup power supply device 140 that has received this notification determines that one of the AC / DC converters 111 or 1
When a failure occurs in the power supply 21, the power supply to the DC / DC converter 112 or 122 corresponding to the failure-occurring converter is maintained, so that the magnetic circuit can be magnetically reduced without using the conventional uninterruptible device. The backup of the power supply for the disk device 130 can be further multiplexed. That is, in the prior art, when focusing on the power supply unit of one system, the power supply unit AC / D
Backup can be performed even if the C converter fails. Further, the power supply system according to the present embodiment can report the power failure to the administrator who manages the magnetic disk device 130 by reporting the failure occurrence part to the magnetic disk device 130 when a failure occurs, and further, the backup power supply. By using the nickel-hydrogen battery as the internal battery of the device, the power supply system can be downsized as compared with the conventional lead battery.
