Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing device having an upper or a lower die with a transfer part on whose surface an uneven pattern and a joint are formed, which press-forms a nearly flat material to be worked between the upper and the lower dies to make an exterior material having the uneven pattern and the joint on its surface, where the exterior material is produced with improved production efficiency and is inexpensive as well even in the case of producing exterior materials having different widths and the same pattern.
SOLUTION: The upper die or the lower die is formed by juxtaposing main die materials 1, 2 in the lateral direction approximately orthogonal to the direction of the joint and by arranging auxiliary die materials 3 or 4, whose widths are narrower than those of the main die materials, between the main die materials. Furthermore, the main die materials 1, 2 are made movable in the lateral direction so that a plurality of the auxiliary die materials different in width can be exchanged.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a press die apparatus for an exterior material is provided with an upper die having an uneven pattern and a transfer portion of joints on the surface, and a substantially flat plate-shaped workpiece is press-formed between the upper die and the lower die to obtain a surface. In order to form an exterior material having a concavo-convex pattern and joints, the upper die and the lower die are vertically opposed to each other, and the workpiece to be the source of the exterior material is sandwiched between the upper die and the lower die, Pressing is performed by the transfer part of the upper mold so that the uneven pattern and the joints are transferred to the surface of the plate material to be processed.

However, in the above-mentioned press die apparatus, since the upper die is a single body, when molding exterior materials of the same pattern having different lateral widths, the upper die having a different size according to the lateral width of the exterior material is used. Multiple types are created, and the upper mold of the required size is selected and attached to the press mold device, which takes time and effort to replace the upper mold, and the production efficiency of the exterior material is low. In addition, it is necessary to create and store a number of expensive upper molds of different sizes, which is very expensive.

The main mold members 1 and 2 and the auxiliary mold members 3 and 4 are fixed to a mold member fixing plate 5 of the press mold device. The mold material fixing plate 5 is formed in the press mold device so as to be vertically movable in a substantially horizontal direction, and is pressed downward by a pressing mechanism of the press mold device. Bolt through holes are formed in the template fixing plate 5 at substantially equal intervals in the vertical and horizontal directions. Further, at positions corresponding to the bolt through holes of the main mold members 1 and 2 and the auxiliary mold members 3 and 4, there are formed bolt fixing holes each having a female screw portion into which a male screw portion of the bolt 6 passing through the bolt through hole is screwed. Then, the bolt through holes and the bolt fixing holes are aligned with the lower surface of the mold material fixing plate 5, and the upper surfaces of the main mold materials 1 and 2 and the auxiliary mold materials 3 or 4 are brought into close contact with each other. The main mold members 1 and 2 and the auxiliary mold member 3 or 4 are fixed to the mold member fixing plate 5 by penetrating the bolt through holes and screwing the male screw parts of the bolts 6 into the female screw parts of the bolt fixing holes. The bolt fixing holes need not necessarily be formed in the same number as the bolt through holes, but may be formed at intervals closer than the bolt through holes.

A plurality of auxiliary mold members 3 and 4 having different lateral widths are prepared in accordance with the horizontal bolt fixing hole intervals, and the main mold members 1 and 2 are fixed by moving them in the lateral direction away from each other by the bolt fixing hole intervals. At this time, the gap distance between the adjacent main mold members 1 and 2 is widened by the bolt fixing hole interval, and auxiliary mold members 3 and 4 having a lateral width long by the bolt fixing hole interval are selected and used.

For example, in the case of FIG. 2 (a), an upper mold is constructed by using a narrow auxiliary mold member 4 between two main mold members 1 and 2 on the left and right having a pattern transfer portion of the same pattern with a standard width. And bolt 6
The left main mold member 1 is fixed to the mold member fixing plate 5 with a and 6b, the right main mold member 2 is fixed to the mold member fixing plate 5 with bolts 6d and 6e, and the auxiliary mold member 4 is fixed to the mold member fixing plate 5 with bolts 6c. is doing. With such an upper die, an exterior material having a relatively narrow width can be produced, but an auxiliary die material can also be used as a cutting substitute spacer. That is, the exterior material made by using this upper mold is made of two exterior materials of the same pattern and the same size on the left and right through the cut portion formed by the auxiliary mold material 4 in the central vertical direction. It can also be seen that the cut part is cut after the molding to form two standard width outer packaging materials.

In the case of FIG. 2B, the left main mold material 1
Is moved to the left by one bolt fixing hole and fixed, and the right main mold material 2 is moved to the right by one bolt fixing hole and fixed, the gap distance between the left and right main mold materials 1 and 2 becomes the bolt fixing hole. It will be expanded by two, and a wide auxiliary mold material 3 having a lateral size that fits exactly in this gap is selected and fixed. In this case, it is possible to create an exterior material in which the lateral width is expanded by two bolt fixing holes as compared with the exterior material created using the narrow auxiliary mold material 4 described above.

In this way, a plurality of types of upper molds having different lateral widths by the bolt fixing hole intervals are formed, and correspondingly, a plurality of types of exterior materials having different lateral widths can be produced. It is desirable to set the bolt fixing holes according to the required lateral size of the exterior material. Further, if the bolt through holes are formed in the shape of long holes in the lateral direction, the main mold members 1, 2 can be slidably fixed to the mold member fixing plate 5, so that the gap distance between the main mold members 1, 2 can be freely set. It is possible to create an exterior material of any width.

If the four edge portions of the main mold members 1 and 2 and the auxiliary mold members 3 and 4 are respectively formed to be half the lateral width of the joint transfer portion, the auxiliary mold member 3 or between the main mold members 1 and 2 is formed. When the upper mold is formed by laying 4, it is possible to form the upper mold in which the joint spacing and the lateral width are evenly arranged, and the joint between the main mold members 1 and 2 and the auxiliary mold member 3 or 4. Is no longer a concave-convex pattern, the irregular pattern of the exterior material created by using the upper mold is disturbed due to a surface step between the main mold material 1 and 2 and the auxiliary mold material 3 or 4 or discontinuity of the pattern transfer portion. It is possible to create an exterior material that has a good appearance and is free from appearance.
