Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing burnout of an eddy current sensor for measuring the level of molten steel in a continuous casting mold of steel. 2. Description of the Related Art In a continuous casting machine, it is necessary to control the level of molten steel in a mold within a certain range. For this purpose, the level of the molten metal in the mold is controlled to be within a certain range by measuring the level of the molten metal and controlling the casting speed and the amount of injection from the tundish. There is an eddy current sensor as a level meter for measuring the level of molten steel in a mold. The eddy current sensor is installed in the vicinity of the molten steel surface and detects the electric eddy current generated in the vicinity of the molten steel surface to measure the height of the molten surface. Then, before starting the casting of steel into the mold, it is installed in a fixed position such as a mold cover using a sensor fixing base. Since the eddy current sensor has a very narrow detection range and control range, it must be installed close to the molten steel surface. Further, the sensor is air-cooled to suppress a rise in temperature due to radiant heat from molten steel. [0004] Conventionally, the eddy current sensor is fixed close to the molten steel surface, so that the level of the molten metal suddenly rises due to abnormal casting or the temperature inside the sensor due to radiant heat from the molten steel. When the molten steel level is measured lower than the actual level, especially when the molten steel level is measured lower than the actual level, if the casting level is reduced or the molten steel level rises by increasing the molten steel injection amount, There was a problem that the sensor was immersed in molten steel and burned out. An object of the present invention is to develop and provide a burnout prevention device for an eddy current sensor which solves the above problems. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and is directed to an eddy current sensor for detecting the level of molten steel in a continuous casting mold. A burnout prevention device for an eddy current sensor, comprising: a gauge, a sensor elevating pedestal for elevating and lowering the entire sensor, and a control device for controlling the elevation position of the sensor. A thermometer is attached to the sensor to monitor the temperature, and the sensor fixing base is provided with an elevating function and a function to control the elevating position. Prevents sensor burnout. The configuration is as follows. (1) A thermometer is attached to the sensor to continuously monitor the temperature. (2) When the temperature of the sensor reaches a certain temperature, the pedestal for fixing the sensor is raised. In an eddy current sensor for measuring the level of molten steel in a mold, a thermometer is attached to the sensor to monitor the temperature, and the sensor fixing base is provided with an elevating function to prevent burning of the eddy current sensor. It is. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing an operation flow of a burnout prevention device for an eddy current sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention. Molten steel 12 is supplied into a continuous casting mold 11 to continuously mold 1
1 and is continuously cast. The tip of the eddy current sensor 1 faces the molten metal surface 13 at a distance of about 50 mm from the molten metal surface 13 of the molten steel 12. The eddy current sensor 1 for detecting the level of the molten steel 12 in the continuous casting mold 11 includes a thermometer 3 attached to the sensor, a pedestal 6 with a sensor elevating function for elevating and lowering the entire sensor, and a pedestal elevating control device 7. I have. The pedestal 6 with a lifting function is mounted on the mold cover 8. The temperature of the protection tube 2 is continuously measured by attaching a thermometer 3 to the protection tube 2 of the eddy current sensor 1. The temperature of the protection tube 2 measured by the thermometer 3 is input to the converter 5 via the cable 4. The converter 5 converts the output of the thermometer 3 and outputs it to the gantry elevation control device 7. The measured temperature of the protection tube 2 taken into the gantry elevation control device 7 is compared with a preset temperature. When the temperature of the protection tube 2 reaches a certain value, an ascending command is output to the sensor base 6 with the elevating function. In response to an ascending command from the gantry elevation control device 7, the sensor gantry 6 with the elevation function raises the eddy current sensor 1 to a position where it does not burn out. According to the invention, the temperature of the sensor is monitored,
The eddy current sensor can be prevented from being burned by providing the sensor fixing base with a lifting function. According to the present invention, it is possible to reliably prevent the eddy current sensor of the continuous casting mold from burning.
