に片面粘着テープを貼り付けた状態で、カッターにて長
尺板の保護フィルム側からセパレータに至る深さのハー
フカット状の切り込みを入れ、長尺板からパネルサイズ
の偏光板単板をセパレータを片面粘着テープ側に残して
切り出す第2工程と、液晶パネルの基板上に偏光板単板
を貼着した後、保護フィルムの切断端部に保護フィルム
を引き剥がすためのプルタブを貼着する第3工程とを含
み、上記第1工程では偏光板原反のセパレータ側からカ
ッターを入れて偏光板原反から長尺板を切断し、上記第
3工程では偏光板単板の4辺の内、上記第1工程で切断
された2辺のいずれか一方の切断端部にプルタブを貼着

から保護フィルムを確実に剥離することができる。
