【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は電子機器に係わ
り、特に、そのパネルの表示器周囲の照光装置に関す
る。

【従来の技術】従来の表示器を備えた電子機器のパネル
の例を図３および図４により説明する。図３および図４
に示すパネル１にはフロントグラス２が固定されてお
り、フロントグラス２の背後に表示管ホルダ１０に保持
されたＦＬ（蛍光）表示管３が配置されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記した従来の電子機
器のパネルでは、ＬＥＤ１２、１２…および採光板１
３、１３…が表示管ホルダ１０の周囲に配置されるた
め、照光のための専用のスペースが必要であり、表示器
に近接する部分を光らせることが困難であった。導光の
ための専用の部品である採光板１３、１３…も必要とな
り、部品点数や製造コストが高くなるという問題もあっ
た。

く、しかも表示器に近接する部分を照光することが可能
な表示器周囲の照光装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明の表示器周囲の
照光装置は、表示器を保持する表示器ホルダの少くとも
一部を透光性部材しとし、前記表示器ホルダにパネル表
面に至る前記透光性部材の導光部を設け、前記導光部の
背後に光源を配置し、前記光源から放射された光を前記
導光部を通してパネル表面に導くように構成したもので
ある。

【発明の実施の形態】この発明の実施例である表示器周
囲の照光装置を図面に基づいて説明する。図１および図
２はこの発明の実施例である表示器周囲の照光装置を示
