2. Description of the Related Art Electrostatic powder coating is usually carried out by applying a powder coating material charged by a charging device equipped on a spray gun or the like to an object to be electrically installed in advance. It is a coating method that forms a film, without using an organic solvent,
Since it can be collected and reused, it is a painting method that considers the environment. The charging mechanism for electrostatic powder coating includes a corona charging method and a friction charging method, but the corona charging method is often adopted because of its high coating efficiency and control characteristics and versatility.

However, a long corrugated cylindrical steel wire or other long coating object is coated by sandwiching the coating object with two conventional corona charging type spray guns. Since the width of the spray pattern is wider than the width of the material, there is a problem that the coating efficiency is low, the powder easily accumulates in the lower part of the coating booth, and the powder is difficult to collect.
