されていないが、ジャンルに対応した重要度テンプレー
トが時間重要度記憶装置5に記憶されている場合には、
そのジャンル対応の重要度テンプレートが読み出され
る。読み出された重要度テンプレートは要約再生方法指
令部7に供給される。対応した重要度テンプレートが時
間重要度記憶装置5に存在しない場合には、テンプレー
トが無いことを示す信号が要約再生方法指令部7に供給

をデータとして予め記憶した第2記憶手段と、 要約再生動作時に前記第1記憶手段から前記1のテレビ
放送番組の放送信号及びガイドデータを読み出し、その
読み出したガイドデータに応じて前記1のテレビ放送番
組に内容的に一致又は類似したテレビ放送番組に対応す
る属性毎の時間的範囲及び重要度を前記第2記憶手段か
ら読み出す読出手段と、 前記第1記憶手段から読み出された前記放送信号のうち
の、前記第2記憶手段から読み出された前記属性毎の時
間的範囲において対応する重要度に基づいた時間的長さ
だけの部分信号を再生する再生手段と、を備えたことを
特徴とするテレビ放送番組要約再生装置。

間的範囲において対応する重要度に基づいた時間的長さ
だけの部分信号を再生することを特徴とするテレビ放送
番組要約再生方法。
