Abstract
Description

g(1日2回、4mg)まで用量を増加させて3ないし4週間の期間、レボキセ
チンで治療した。CGIの最終評価にて、1名の患者が非常によく改善されたと
判定され、4名がよく改善されたと判定され、2名がほんの少し改善されたが、
3名は変化しなかった。CPRS−OC評価尺度によって測定されるごとく、反
応した患者のうち30%を超えて73%ほどが強迫の総合的症状の減少を有した
。 II.恐慌性障害(PD) 恐慌性障害は、レボキセチンで治療できる疾患または不安状態である。PDの
一般的な記載は、1994年に著作権のある、Robert E. Hales, Stuart C. Yud
ofskyおよびJohn A. Talbottによって編集された The American Psychiatric Pr
ess Textbook of Psychiatry, 第2版(出典明示して本明細書の一部とみなす)
、特に「不安障害」の章(出典明示して本明細書の一部とみなす)のごとき多く
の標準的な源において見出され、多くのテキストのうちのもう一つは、Richard
I. Shaderによって編集されたManual of Psychiatric Therapeutics、第2版(
出典明示して本明細書の一部とみなす)、特に第25章「不安状態の治療に対す
るアプローチ」(出典明示して本明細書の一部とみなす)である。 以下の試験は、恐慌性障害を治療するための6ないし8mgの異なる用量にお
けるレボキセチンを用いた治療効果を示す。この試験は、レボキセチンをPD用
の治療薬として用いることの有用性を示すために設けられ、また本明細書に記載
された発明はこの例によって限定されるものと考えるべきではない。 無作為化されプラセボコントロールされた並列群、二重盲検デザイン、レボキ
セチンに37名およびプラセボに38名における臨場恐怖症の有無での恐怖性障
害の診断用のDSM-III基準(300.01、300.21)を満足し、彼らの受
入の前月において少なくとも4回の恐怖性発作を有した75名の患者を含む試験
において、レボキセチンで治療した患者の主要な恐怖性発作の平均数は、プラセ
ボに対するものより有意に低かった。恐怖症状、予想した心配、職業上の職分を
果たすこと、社会的および家族的な適応は、いくらかの時点で、プラセボについ
ての患者よりレボキセチンで治療した者ですべて良好であった。
Claims (7)
- 【請求項1】 a)強迫性障害(OCD);および/または b)恐慌性障害(PD)から選択された障害を治療するか、あるいはその治療
を促進する方法であって、 治療上有効な、非毒性用量のレボキセチンおよびその誘導体ならびに/またはそ
の医薬上許容される塩をそれらの障害の症状を経験している患者に投与すること
を含む該方法。 - 【請求項2】 レボキセチンを用いて、強迫性障害(OCD)を治療するか
、あるいはその治療を促進する請求項1記載の方法。 - 【請求項3】 レボキセチンを用いて、恐慌性障害(PD)を治療するか、
あるいはその治療を促進する請求項1記載の方法。 - 【請求項4】 レボキセチンを含む組成物からのOCDまたはPDを治療す
るための医薬の調製方法。 - 【請求項5】 強迫性障害(OCD);および/または恐慌性障害(PD)
を治療するための;および/またはこれらの疾患のいずれかの症状を治療するた
めの医薬製造におけるレボキセチンまたはその医薬上許容される塩の使用。 - 【請求項6】 該レボキセチンの用量範囲が、1日患者当り4ないし10m
gである請求項1ないし5記載の方法または使用。 - 【請求項7】 該レボキセチンの用量範囲が、1日患者当り6ないし8mg
である請求項1ないし5記載の方法または使用。
