Next, the operation of the projection apparatus according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. Light rays from the image forming element 5 disposed below the plate-shaped portion 6a of the housing 6 are reflected by the reflecting mirror 1 fixed to the side wall 6b below the plate-shaped portion of the housing at the front position.
Thus, the light is reflected toward the reflecting mirror 2 provided in the opening 9 of the plate-shaped portion 6a. The light beam reflected by the reflecting mirror 2 passes through the opening 9 and exits to the surface side of the plate-shaped portion 6a, and is reflected by the reflecting mirror 3 fixed to the side wall portion on the front side, and similarly the side wall portion on the surface side. The light is incident on and reflected by the reflecting mirror 4 mounted so as to face the surface. The reflected light from the reflecting mirror 4 is
The light exits from the exit opening 8 as projection light 7 and is projected on a screen (not shown). In addition, by attaching a light-shielding plate 11 having an opening in an optical path near the image forming element 5 as needed, stray light can be removed and only effective light can pass. As described above, in the present embodiment, all the reflecting mirrors 1 to 4 constituting the projection optical system are fixed to the housing 6 composed of one plate-shaped portion and the surrounding side wall portion, thereby forming an integral structure. By doing so, it is possible to eliminate an arrangement error between the respective reflecting mirrors, and to arrange a member that allows only necessary light beams reflected from the respective reflecting mirrors to pass with high accuracy. It is possible to correspond to a lens barrel in terms of a lens. By applying a matte black paint on the inner wall of the housing or adding fine irregularities, reflected light can be suppressed, and the housing and reflecting mirror can be moved as a single structure to project the projection optical system. Since it can move in conjunction with the whole, even if the focus position is adjusted, it does not disturb the light beam. Further, by intentionally narrowing the wall surface, the light beam can be narrowed, and the brightness projected on the screen can be adjusted. Since the opening can be minimized, foreign matter such as dust can be minimized, and contamination of the surface of the reflecting mirror can be suppressed because the surface of the reflecting mirror cannot be touched carelessly. As a result, it is possible to achieve a structure in which a light shielding plate can be arranged without obstructing an effective light beam even when removing stray light, which is a cause of image deterioration of a projection device using a reflecting mirror in the projection optical system.

When the plate portion and the side wall portion of the housing are formed as separate components as in the second embodiment, the reflecting mirror is fixed to the side wall portion formed as a separate component, and then the plate mirror is fixed to the plate portion. There is an advantage that the manufacturing and assembling work is facilitated because it can be attached. In addition, since the opening of the plate-shaped portion is formed in an appropriate size in advance, and the diameter of the opening can be controlled by attaching a restricting member later, manufacturing is also easy in this case. In addition, also in the second embodiment, the distance between the reflecting mirrors is fixed to the housing and is constant, and the effective light beam is surrounded by the side wall, so that it is described in the first embodiment. Of course, it has the same effect as

As described above, according to the present invention,
All of the reflecting mirrors constituting the projection optical system are fixed to a housing composed of a single plate-like portion and a side wall portion therearound to form an integral structure, thereby eliminating an arrangement error between the reflecting mirrors and allowing each reflection. A projection device is obtained in which only necessary rays of light reflected from the mirror are passed with high accuracy. That is, 1
By arranging all optical elements in one structure and providing a light shielding wall, the distance between the wall covering the effective light beam and the effective light beam can be kept constant, and that state can be maintained even after focus adjustment. It becomes possible. In addition, since the inner wall surface of the housing is coated with matte black paint or has fine irregularities, it is possible to suppress reflected light rays. By moving, it can move in conjunction with the entire projection optical system, so that even if the focus position is adjusted, it does not obstruct the light beam. Further, by intentionally narrowing the wall surface, the light beam can be narrowed, and the brightness projected on the screen can be adjusted. Since the opening can be minimized, it is possible to minimize the entry and adhesion of foreign matter such as dust, and the surface of the reflecting mirror can be prevented from being stained because the surface of the reflecting mirror cannot be touched carelessly. As a result, there is an effect that a structure in which a light-shielding plate can be arranged without obstructing effective light rays even when removing stray light, which is a factor of image deterioration of a projection device using a reflecting mirror in the projection optical system, can be achieved.
