を観察した。比較として、Ｎｏ．６で、紫外線ランプの
照射をせずに乾燥だけ行い芳香付与の程度を観察した、
芳香付与の程度は実施例１と同じ基準で観察した。結果
は次のとおりである。各例の上段、中断、下段はそれぞ
れ１時間後、２時間後、３時間後の乾燥状態と芳香付与

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、木綿などの繊維製品に
紫外線照射装置を使用して紫外線を照射することによ
り、日干しした布団や洗濯物に付着する心地よい香り、
いわゆる日向臭またはそれに類似の芳香を発生させるこ
とができる。この方法を用いて、エアコンや空気清浄機
などに芳香発生効果を具備せしめることができる。布団
乾燥機、衣類乾燥機、洗濯乾燥機などの繊維製品の乾燥
装置に紫外線照射手段を備えることによって布団、衣
類、洗濯物などの繊維製品に芳香を付与することができ
る。本発明により、長年の夢であった布団や洗濯物など
の繊維製品に自然条件に左右されずに日向臭またはそれ
