Claims (10)

  1. 半径方向に延びる複数のスペーサブロック(68)によって分離された積層薄板(73)の隣接するパッケージ(64)を含み、前記スペーサブロック(68)の隣接する各対が、軸方向に間隔をおいて配置された隣接する薄板(72)と協働して、複数の半径方向の冷却ダクトを構成し、該ダクトの各々が、複数の凹部(70)を有する少なくとも1つの薄板表面(78)を有することを特徴とするステータコア組立体(62)。
  2. 各々の前記凹部(70)が、約2から5ミリメートルの表面直径を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステータコア組立体(62)。
  3. 各々の前記凹部(70)が、半球形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステータコア組立体(62)。
  4. 各々の前記凹部(70)が、約0.3から1.5mmの深さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステータコア組立体(62)。
  5. Dが各々の前記凹部の表面直径であるとき、該凹部(70)の中心から中心の間隔が、約1.1Dから2Dであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステータコア組立体(62)。
  6. 前記凹部(70)が、パターン状配置の列(74)を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステータコア組立体(62)。
  7. 各々の前記凹部(70)の寸法及び該凹部(70)の間の間隔が、冷却ダクト内の該凹部(70)の位置によって変化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステータコア組立体(62)。

  9. 各々の前記凹部(70)が、前記表面(78)において湾曲した縁部(109)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステータコア組立体(62)。
  10. 各々の前記凹部(70)が、半球形状に近い幾何学的形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のステータコア組立体(62)。
