Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for releasing a residual matter from an aerosol container having a shoulder cover in which the residual matter left in the container can be released easily and safely. SOLUTION: This mechanism is comprised of an injection button provided with an injection port at its front surface and installed at a stem of an aerosol container; and a shoulder cover provided with a central hole through which a head segment of the button is exposed and fitted to the aerosol container. The injection button has a plurality of protrusions at its outer circumferential surface. The shoulder cover is provided with both a front notch and a rear notch for exposing both a front surface and a rear of the injection button. The lower end of an annular circumferential wall forming the central hole is formed with a deep notch and a shallow notch having different notch depth in an upward direction. The injection port is exposed out of the front notch of the shoulder cover when the protrusions of the injection button are fitted into the deep notch, and exposed out of the rear notch of the shoulder cover when the protrusions are fitted into the shallow notch. When the injection port is exposed out of the rear notch of the shoulder cover and the shoulder cover is fitted to the aerosol container, the injection button depresses down the stem to inject the residual content in the container.

2. Description of the Related Art In general, aerosol containers for cosmetics, insecticides, paints, etc. are filled with combustible gas such as LP gas in addition to the contents to be sprayed, and the contents are left in a container. There is a danger that the container will explode due to a large amount of gas remaining inside the container and the cleaning operator may be injured. For this reason, signs such as `` use up and discard '' are usually displayed on the surface of the container, but it is troublesome because it is necessary to hold down the injection button for a certain period to release all the remaining residue inside However, when there is a large amount of residue, there is a problem that the finger being pressed becomes tired. In order to solve such problems, for aerosol containers such as paint,
Numerous vent caps have already been created to release the residues in the containers and are on the market as aerosol containers with vent caps. However, such an existing degassing cap is provided with a degassing mechanism on the ceiling surface of the cap, and the cap is turned upside down to cover the container so as to press the stem. An aerosol container with a shoulder cover, which is often used for the purpose of improving the appearance of a product in an aerosol container such as a filler, cannot be applied as it is.
