2. Description of the Related Art A water faucet which is rotatably connected to a conventional water faucet body and has an opening / closing function portion at a tip end of a water discharge pipe is described.
This will be described with reference to JP-A-10-73169. FIG. 12 is a cross-sectional view of the faucet, and FIG. 13 is a cross-sectional view of the GG section in the middle of the water discharge pipe. This faucet is attached to the counter,
It has a configuration in which a valve section 72 for adjusting and opening and closing the temperature and an operation handle section 76 for operating the valve section 72 are provided at the distal end of the water discharge pipe section 78. The main sections will be described below. Water and hot water are introduced into the main body 77 through a water supply pipe section 6 and a hot water supply pipe section 7 which are connected to the lower surface of the main body 77 in a watertight manner.
The water reaches a water discharge pipe 78 via a water flow path 14 and a hot water flow path 15 disposed therein. The water discharge pipe 78 is inserted into an opening provided on the upper side of the main body 77, and a retaining ring 75 made of stainless steel is engaged with annular grooves provided on the water discharge pipe 78 and the main body 77, respectively. The sealing member 80 prevents leakage of water outside the faucet and mixing of hot and cold water. The water flow path 14 communicates with a water inlet 70 provided on an end side wall of the water discharge pipe section 78, and communicates with a temperature control / open / close valve section 72 via a water supply path 71 in the water discharge pipe. Hot water channel 1
5 communicates with a hot water inlet 73 provided on a base lower surface 79 of a water discharge pipe 78 through a bottom surface of the opening of the main body 77, and a temperature control / open / close valve section 72 through a hot water supply passage 74 in the water discharge pipe.

In the water faucet of this configuration, when the valve portion 72 is stopped, the lower surface 79 of the base end of the water discharge pipe is required.
The pressure on the hot water side acts in a direction perpendicular to the annular area of the ring, and a force that lifts the entire water discharge pipe 78 in the direction opposite to the direction in which the water discharge pipe 78 is inserted into the main body 77 by this pressure. That is, a force acts in a direction in which the water discharge pipe 78 comes out of the main body 77. As for the water side pressure, the water side pressure near the water inlet 70 is equal to the water discharge pipe 78.
As a result, a force acts in opposite directions, that is, the direction of insertion into the main body 77 and the direction of exit from the main body 77, so that the water side pressure is relatively canceled and the water discharge pipe 78 is
7 does not contribute in the direction of exit.

When a direct pressure type hot water supply device is installed branching from the main water supply pressure, the pressure on the hot water side becomes the same as the pressure on the water side, that is, the pressure on the primary side when water is stopped. Nevertheless, a large force acts on the water discharge pipe in the direction of coming out of the main body. In the example of FIG. 12, this force is a force obtained by multiplying the area of the bottom surface 79 of the water discharge pipe base by the water pressure.
For example, when the diameter of the base end of the water discharge pipe is 20 mm, the area is (20/2) 2 × π = 314 mm 2 , and when a water pressure of 0.75 MPa specified by JIS acts on this,
The force acting in the direction in which the water discharge pipe comes out of the main body is 314 mm 2 × 0.75 MPa = 235.5N. Further, when a water hammer of a high pressure such as 1 MPa or 2 MPa is received, the water discharge pipe receives a larger force in a direction of coming out of the main body.

[0006] In such a situation where a large force acts on the water discharge pipe in the direction of pulling out of the main body, a large force acts on the parts that keep the water discharge pipe and the main body from coming off.
It is conceivable that these parts may be damaged due to fatigue destruction or the like due to impact or fluctuation of water pressure at the time of long-term opening / closing, and suddenly the water discharge pipe may come off and leak water. Further, when the water discharge pipe is moved left and right many times over a long period of time, the retaining parts are worn or repeatedly deteriorated in strength, thereby accelerating the damage of the parts. In the case of the conventional example, the retaining ring 75 made of stainless steel is engaged with the groove provided in the main body 77 to prevent the water discharge pipe 78 from coming off, and the copper-based wear generally used as the material of the main body 77 is used. In the case of a material which is easily formed, the groove provided in the main body is cut and worn by the engaging stainless steel retaining ring 75, and the retaining ring holding portion around the groove becomes thin, and the force applied to the water discharge pipe 78 is reduced. And the holding portion may be suddenly broken one day.

Further, in a situation where water pressure is applied in the initial stage of use of the faucet, the first retaining ring 46 attached to the water discharge pipe 3 is arranged so as to be pressed down on the lower inner periphery of the cap 45. And the water discharge pipe 3 is rotatably held.
It functions as a retainer for 1. Also, the second retaining ring 4
Since a small gap A is provided between the guide ring 8 and the guide 47, the second retaining ring 48 does not contribute to retaining in this state. Here, the retaining by the first retaining ring 46 and the second retaining ring 48 is configured to function independently.

According to the structure of the present invention, when the open / close valve at the tip of the water discharge pipe is stopped, when the water tap is used for a long time under a condition where high water pressure acts in the water discharge pipe, the water discharge pipe is connected to the water discharge pipe. , A force due to water pressure acts in a direction to come out of the main body by an amount corresponding to the circular area of H. Here, the reason that the force that the water discharge pipe does not act on the entire inner diameter of the water discharge pipe does not act is that the water pressure acts on the annular area of the upper surface of the cylindrical member 42 in the direction in which the water discharge pipe does not come off. This is because the force in the direction in which the water discharge pipe comes out is canceled. By the way, damage to the spout connection part due to the force acting in the direction in which the spout exits,
First, it occurs for the first retaining ring 46 constituting the first retaining member. That is, the engagement portion 46a of the first retaining ring 46 is engaged with a groove provided in an annular shape on the outer peripheral wall of the water discharge pipe 3, and the shoulder 46b is connected to the cap 4
5, a shearing force acts on the first retaining ring 46, and the retaining ring 46, which uses a soft resin material due to the shearing force,
The force is applied in a direction in which the 6a and the shoulder 46b are separated. Further, when the faucet is used for a long period of time while the shear force is applied, the engaging portion 46a gradually loses its shape, the first retaining ring 46 is broken, and the first retaining ring 46 of the water discharge pipe is damaged. Loses its function as a retainer.

If operated as described above, the water discharge pipe is provided with the first and second double retaining members.
Even if the retaining ring is damaged, the second retaining ring immediately functions, and it is possible to prevent the water discharge pipe from suddenly dropping out and causing a water leakage accident. Further, in a state where the second retaining ring is functioning,
Since the position of the water discharge pipe rises, the user can feel an abnormality.Furthermore, if something that is a sign is displayed here, the user can more reliably recognize the abnormality of the water discharge pipe part and take appropriate action. Maintenance can be performed.

Another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In FIG. 6, the configuration of the flow path of hot and cold water is the same as that of FIG. 1 described above, and the difference from FIG. 1 is that the sealing material 51 in contact with the outer peripheral wall of the flow path projection 50 is provided.
At one position, and the lower end of the guide 47 is deleted to make it shorter to increase the distance B between the lower end surface of the guide 47 and the second retaining ring 48. On the outer peripheral wall of the water discharge pipe 3 concealed by the cap 45, a character 41 such as "Replacement time" is formed by laser marking or the like. In the case of laser marking, since a letter is formed in a concave shape on the surface of the water discharge pipe, it is preferable because it is resistant to abrasion due to rotational sliding of the water discharge pipe. Or, other than letters,
A picture, mark, or the like that calls attention may be provided by printing, a sticker, or the like.

The operation of this construction is similar to that of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1. When the first retaining ring 46, which is the first retaining portion, is broken through the same process as that of the embodiment of FIG.
The second retaining ring 48 is raised by a distance C to a position where the second retaining ring 48 contacts the lower surface of the guide 47, and the second retaining portion functions. FIG. 9 shows a state at this time, in which the sealing material 51 also rises by the distance C, and the inner diameter side of the sealing material 51 comes into contact with the small diameter portion 50a. Since the sealing material 51 has such a dimensional relationship that a slight water leak occurs at the position of the small diameter portion 50a, water leaks from this portion, and the leaked water flows out of the faucet from the inner diameter portion 45a and the lower end portion 45b of the cap 45. Run out.

Another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In FIG. 10, the configuration of the flow path of hot and cold water is the same as that of FIG. 1 described above, and the difference from this configuration in FIG. 1 is that an annular groove for attaching a sealing material to the outer peripheral wall of the flow path projection 50 is provided. And a seal member 54 is provided, and a tapered shape 55 is provided on the inner wall at the lower end of the water discharge pipe. Further, the lower end side of the guide 47 is deleted and shortened, and the distance between this lower end surface and the second retaining ring 48 is D. Here, the contact portion of the inner wall of the water discharge pipe with respect to the sealing material 54 is displaced upward by a distance D, and the tapered portion 55 is shifted.
In this case, when the contact is made, the sealing margin of the sealing material 54 is insufficient, and a slight water leakage occurs.
