Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal sheet having shading capacity effective for preventing insects from being induced by the illumination of a factory or the like in night to penetrate into a building from a window or an entrance and exit, and useful as an insecticidal sheet shutter. SOLUTION: A sheet made of a soft synthetic resin, wherein the light transmissivity of a wavelength region of <420 nm is substantially 0% and the light transmissivity of a wavelength region of 420 nm or more is substantially <20%, is used. This sheet may be integrated with a coarse mesh fabric to be reinforced. This sheet is useful for a roll sheet shutter.

2. Description of the Related Art Insects have been known for their light-moving properties induced by light for a long time. In order to exterminate pests against agricultural crops, insects have been attracted to a torch or a bonfire to kill them. In the Meiji era, rice pests and measles 330-
It was confirmed that it was selectively attracted to light of 440 nm,
An acetylene lamp was used as a light source, and then a high-pressure mercury lamp, a blue / white fluorescent lamp, and a black light, which generate wavelengths highly effective in attracting each target crop or pest, were used. However, due to the development of pesticides, recently it has been used only for some fruit trees for inducing killings, and in agriculture it is used exclusively for predicting the occurrence of worms. However, on the other hand, fluorescent light has become widespread as illumination of factories and the like, and the occurrence of quality troubles due to the invasion of insects into buildings and the hindrance to work have become problems that cannot be ignored.

[0003] When insects enter a building, light having a wavelength that attracts insects leaks out from a light-receiving portion or a see-through portion such as a window or a doorway to collect insects, and the insects enter the room at the time of opening or opening and closing. As a method of preventing this, light having a wavelength that attracts insects is not leaked to the outside. In this case, the range of the wavelength to be shielded is slightly different depending on the type of insect to be targeted. When a plurality of types of insects are to be targeted, light transmittance needs to be controlled over a wide wavelength range.
On the other hand, it is necessary to balance the lighting and transparency required for windows and doorways. Materials developed for this purpose have already been published in Japanese Patent Publication Nos. 4-65651 and 7
There are patent applications such as US Pat. However, the demand for insect repellent is not only high, such as causing malfunctions of the manufacturing system as well as the direct influence of foreign substances in the product. In addition, the roll shutter has a relatively large area. In order to open and close, it is necessary to completely eliminate the attraction of insects. However, in the above-mentioned invention, the attraction rejection ratio is on the order of 80%, which seems to be insufficient as a sheet for a roll shutter.

Means for Solving the Problems As means for solving the above problems, the inventor of the present invention has set the transmission of light to substantially zero in the wavelength region of 350 to 420 nm where insects show particularly strong light traveling properties. , 420 nm and above, the object is almost achieved by substantially limiting light transmission to less than 20%. 20% transmittance
When the sheet is smaller than this, the transparency is considerably reduced, but this is a necessary condition for satisfying a high level of insect repellency such as for a roll shutter. Such transmittance control can be realized by a combination of known pigments and dyes, and these are blended with a soft synthetic resin to obtain a desired insect repellent sheet.
Note that the transmittance is set to 0 in the wavelength region of 350 nm or less because it can be considered harmless to human eyes. Also,
"Substantially" in the above means, as long as its effect is negligible for the purpose of the present invention,
It means that a slight excess of the transmittance in a part of the predetermined wavelength range is acceptable.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS To achieve the transmittance set in the preceding paragraph, a combination of several kinds of dyes or pigments such as an ultraviolet absorber, yellow, orange, green or black is required. In this respect, pigment systems are desirable. However, if the pigment is in a poorly dispersed state, there is a possibility that short-wavelength light can pass through the pigment.

The insect repellent sheet of the present invention is a sheet made of a soft synthetic resin containing the above-mentioned selective light absorbing material or a sheet obtained by integrating this sheet with a coarse reinforcing fabric. As the soft synthetic resin, soft vinyl chloride resin, ethylene
An olefin resin such as a vinyl acetate resin and other known resins can be used. Plain weave as a coarse reinforcing fabric,
In addition to leno weave and mosa weave, weft insertion warp knitting is also included. The type of fiber can be selected according to the application, but polyester filament is generally used. The sheet can be formed by a known means such as calendering and T-die extrusion. The integration with the reinforcing fabric can be performed in a series of steps with the film formation or in a separate step.

[0008] The insect-proof sheet made of a soft synthetic resin sheet can be used as a sheet for a roll blind or the like attached to a window glass or attached to a window. recent years,
Roll sheet shutters that automatically open and close when sensing the approach of people and vehicles at the entrance of the building have been used frequently, but transparent or translucent that the side facing through the seat can be seen to avoid collision between people and vehicles Film material is used. Further, since there are many chances of breakage accidents due to contact between the seat and a vehicle or the like, a sheet containing a reinforcing fabric is frequently used. If the insect repellent sheet of the present invention is used as a sheet member of a roll sheet shutter, it is effective in preventing the insects from being attracted at night and preventing the insects from invading as the shutter is opened and closed.

A lighting fixture having two 40 W daylight fluorescent lamps arranged side by side at 10 cm intervals is placed in a rectangular box, and glass having a width of 200 mm, a length of 1200 mm and a thickness of 2 mm is fitted on one side of the box. Two boxes having the same contents are prepared, and the sheet of Example 1 is adhered to both sides of one glass. In addition, a transparent double-sided adhesive tape is stuck on the outer surfaces of both glasses at a distance equal to the width of the tape in a striped pattern. The width of the adhesive tape is several c
About 10 cm from m is appropriate. The two boxes are installed outdoors at a distance of 5 m or more, and are turned on for 2 hours at night. Switch places and turn on for another 2 hours and count the number of insects trapped on the adhesive tape surface. As a result of the experiment, the trapped number when the sheet of Example 1 was stuck was 7 compared to the trapped number 127 when only glass was used, and the insect repellent efficiency was about 95%.
