Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing container for a cylindrical item cpapble of easily packing the cylindrical item, a repetitive folding operation of the container itself and the transportation to a manufacturing section after the packed cylindrical item is used in which no dusts are produced and a superior recycling of the container is attained when it is wasted. SOLUTION: This packaging container is comprised of a plastic rectangular frame; two side plates of plastic cardboard fixed to opposing sides of the frame; a U-shaped side plate having a bottom plate comprised of two plastic cardboard side plates fixed to the other opposing sides of the frame and a bottom plate; and a plastic cardboard lid fixed to one side of the frame. There are provided a frame fixing segment for two side plates, a lower segment of the frame fixing segment for the side plates having the bottom plate, a central segment of the side plate and hinge segments formed with cutting of a part of thickness of the plastic cardboard so as to cause an assembled state of a box-shape to be changed into a flat folded state and at the same time, a cylindrical item supporter for use in holding the end part of the cylindrical item is integrally arranged inside the two side plates.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when a tubular material such as a film roll on which a film has been wound is transported from a packing department to a use department, the tubular material is transported in a cardboard box made of paper. . Once used, the cardboard box made of paper loses its strength due to damage or moisture absorption, so that it often becomes unusable and becomes cardboard waste. In addition, a support plate as an attachment for supporting a tubular object, a spacer, a polypropylene band, a tape, and an adhesive used for fixing a box have to be discarded as garbage. Therefore, there is a demand for a packaging container that can be reused many times, does not put any burden on the environment, is easy to transport, and can easily and stably pack a tubular material.

Inside each of the side plates 2, a cylindrical support for holding an end of the cylindrical object is provided integrally with the side plate. In this embodiment, a cylindrical support plate 8 having a cutout 7 having a semicircular bottom for receiving the end of the cylindrical object is integrally provided via a plate-like urethane foam elastic member 9. ing. The cylindrical object support plate is provided with a guide taper 12 for guiding the end of the cylindrical object so that the end of the cylindrical object is easily received by the notch 7. This elastic member can be used even when the length of the stored cylindrical object changes.
It is preferable that the elastic member has a spring elasticity that can hold the side surface of the cylindrical object. The elastic member is preferably made of a material such as a gas-containing mat, an air bag, foamed polyethylene, foamed polypropylene, urethane foam, sponge, rubber elastic body, and a metal spring body may be used if necessary. The shape of the notch for receiving the end of the cylindrical object may be rectangular, polygonal, or parabolic in addition to a semicircle. In addition, the notch is not always necessary as long as the cylindrical member can be held by the support and the elastic member. Further, in the present embodiment, the outside of the cylindrical object is held by the cylindrical object support, but the cylindrical object may be held by a tube or a rod inserted into the cylindrical object.

A surface sheet 8a made of high-density polypropylene having a slippery property is adhered to the surface of the tubular support plate 8, thereby improving the receptivity of the tubular article. As a material of the surface sheet 8a, high density polyethylene, perfluoroethylene, or the like is used in addition. The sheet may be not only a single layer but also a multi-layer sheet. Those excellent in durability and tear resistance besides slipperiness are preferred. The cylindrical object support plate 8 is made of a laminate in which a plurality of rigid sheets 8b and buffer soft sheets 8c are alternately laminated, and has a structure in which the buffer soft sheet protrudes from the rigid sheet to the upper inside of the cutout portion. It prevents damage to objects and their cover films. As the rigid sheet 8b, a polypropylene sheet is used, and a polyethylene sheet or a plastic cardboard may be used. As the cushioning soft sheet 8c, a foamed polyethylene sheet is used, and a foamed polypropylene sheet or the like is also used.
