Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured, low-priced packaging shape detector needing only a small mounting space and free from system stoppage by eliminating faults in conventional-type packaging shape detectors. SOLUTION: This packaging shape detector 20 is structured so as to detect the packaging shape of a conveyed object 10. It has a holding means 2 for holding the conveyed object 10, light emitting means 7 arranged so that prescribed light beams pass near the limits of the packaging shape of the conveyed object with respect to the conveyed object held by the holding means, and an irradiated means 8 for receiving the light beams from the emitting means to allow the packaging shape to be visually detected. This enables an operator to visually perceive anomalies in the packaging shape.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in an automatic warehouse system, an automatic guided vehicle, etc., by detecting the package of a conveyed article in advance, it is possible to accurately convey the conveyed article and to prevent unnecessary trouble accompanying the conveyance. For that purpose, a package detection device is used. In a conventional package appearance detecting device, for example, a plurality of optical sensors are arranged at regular intervals over frames on both sides of a carrier that can be moved in the front-rear direction (left-right direction when viewed from the traveling direction) or columns provided separately. In some cases, when the optical sensor is activated, the package is determined to be abnormal, and the moving operation of the loading platform and the moving operations of the stacker crane and the automatic guided vehicle are also stopped.

[0003] In a load state detecting device of a load transporting device proposed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-40109, columns are fixed to four corners of a movable loading platform, and a pair of columns has a U-shaped cross section. The bar is suspended with the opening facing downward and perpendicular to the direction of movement of the carrier, and mechanical operation detectors are arranged at the lower part on both sides of this detection bar. Is detected by a mechanical operation detector.

[0004] In addition, the packing form sensor proposed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 10-236606 has a column standing at four corners of a bed of a stack crane that travels between rows of a three-dimensional shelf, and a load on the bed. Fillers that rotate in the direction of loading and unloading are provided on each of the columns, and optical sensors are arranged on the columns facing each other on the traveling direction side of the stacker crane so that their light beams coincide with each other, and the filler contacts the load. When the optical axis is shut off by rotating the load, the height of the load and the deviation of the load appearance are detected.

[0005] An example of a conventional package detection device using an optical sensor will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 3, light sensors 4 are provided at the four left and right corners of the gate-shaped
(A structure in which a light emitting element and a light receiving element are arranged above and below) are arranged, and the electric carriage 2 is configured to pass through the package sensor frame 1. That is, the electric trolley 2 is, for example, equipment installed around an article shelf in an automatic warehouse, and is configured to appropriately move the article (article 10) loaded on the electric trolley 2. The pallet on which the article 10 is placed is placed on the pallet placing portion 2 a on the support pillars erected at the four corners of the electric carriage 2, and the trolley 2 can travel on the rail 21. Then, when the electric trolley 2 passes below the package sensor frame 1, the package 10 is detected based on whether or not the article 10 on the pallet is detected by the optical sensor 4.

[0006] This conventional method of detecting a package is based on a bulky package detecting device having a gate-shaped gantry.
The moving operation of the electric trolley 2 is required, and if there is an abnormality in the package by detection using the optical sensor 4, an error is determined and the system is stopped. In addition, this requires the movement of the carriage (movement passing under the gantry) for detection,
A large installation place is required, and moreover, machines and control devices are expensive. That is, in the conventional detection device, the mounting space is large, and the load (electric trolley or conveyor) is moved for detection. Therefore, when a package error occurs, the transport system stops, and the package is corrected. In addition, there were problems such as the need to restore the transport system.

The package detection device 20 of this embodiment includes an electric trolley 2 serving as holding means for holding a conveyed object 10 and a predetermined light beam applied to the conveyed object 10 held by the electric trolley 2. It has a light emitting means 7 set so as to pass near the limit of the package of the object 10, and a rack side surface 8a and a board 8b as an irradiation means 8 for receiving light from the issuing means 7. By visually confirming the illuminated unit 8, the appearance of the conveyed article 10 on the pallet 11 can be detected. With such a configuration, it is possible to visually check the package without providing a complicated checking device or equipment.

The light-emitting means 7 is, as shown in FIG.
A plurality of columns 5 can be attached at appropriate places, and for example, a laser pointer that emits a laser beam can be used. As described above, the configuration using the laser pointer as the light emitting means 7 and, for example, if the package of the conveyed object 10 is more than the limit, the laser light is blocked by the conveyed object 10, so that the irradiation of the rack side surface 8a or the board 8b is performed. I can't see the light. Therefore, in this case, the operator can easily determine that the package is abnormal. Further, the light emitting means 7 may be another light emitting means 7 of the laser pointer.
For example, a spotlight or the like can be considered. The spotlight is used to project the entire load or to project the corners of the load.

In the irradiation means 8 such as the rack side surface 8a and the board 8b, a limit line 9 (for example, the board 8 is shown in FIG. 2) indicating a position limit of a package as shown in FIG. it can. With such a configuration,
By simply comparing the position of the contour of the appropriately projected shadow with the limit line 9, it is possible for the operator to easily determine whether the package is abnormal based on whether or not the contour exceeds the limit line 9.

Further, in the present embodiment, the rack side surface 8a and the board 8b are used as the irradiating means 8, but the irradiating means may be, for example, a wall at an appropriate place in a room. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the presence of the scale 9a allows the operator to know how much the load is, and the position of the load on the electric trolley 2 can be easily corrected. Further, in the case of the board 8b, the board 8b can be installed at an arbitrary place, so that it can be installed at an arbitrary place according to a change of a load or the like.

The apparatus according to the present invention makes it possible to easily detect an abnormality in the appearance of a load when the load is loaded on the electric trolley 2. In addition, large equipment such as a portal-type package sensor base in the conventional conventional package detection device is not required. In the above-described embodiment, a laser pointer is used as the light emitting means 7. However, it is a matter of course that any light source may be used as long as it can detect an abnormal packing state.

Further, according to the configuration of the present invention, in which the scale is provided on the irradiation means, the position of the contour of the projected shadow is simply compared with the scale. Therefore, it is possible for the operator to easily determine the state of the package, so that it is possible to provide an inexpensive package detection device with a simple configuration and a small installation space. In addition, for example, it is possible to know the appearance of the package at the stage when the load is placed on the electric bogie, and it is also possible to know the amount of the abnormality.
