Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.患者の呼吸器系に関する医療処置を行なう方法において、 (a)患者が選択された呼吸状態にある時に、基準画像フレームにおいて患者 の画像を得る工程と、 (b)患者の呼吸器系内にプローブを進入させる工程と、 (c)前記進入工程中に、患者が前記呼吸状態時にある時に、プローブ上の少 なくとも1個のプローブフィールドトランスデューサに対して、または、これか ら1種以上の非イオン性の場を送信し、当該送信された場の1種以上の特性を検 出することによって、基準位置決めフレーム内においてプローブの配置を決定す る工程と、 (d)前記画像および前記基準位置決めフレームにおけるプローブの配置の少 なくとも一方を変換して、当該画像およびプローブの配置を共通の基準フレーム 内に配置する工程と、 (e)前記共通の基準フレームにおけるプローブの配置に対応する位置におい て当該プローブの表現を重ね合わせた状態で、患者の画像を表示する工程とから 成ることを特徴とする方法。 2.前記画像が患者の呼吸周期によりほとんど影響を受けない位置を有する患 者の体の認識可能な複数の点を含み、前記方法が、前記基準位置決めフレームに おける前記複数の認識可能な点の位置を決定して当該基準位置決めフレームと前 記画像基準フレームとの間の変換を当該位置決めフレームと画像フレームにおけ る前記認識可能な点の位置から導き出す工程を含み、前記変換工程が当該導き出 された変換を使用して行なわれる請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3.前記変換工程が前記プローブの配置を前記基準画像フレーム内に変換する 工程を含む請求の範囲第2項に記載の方法。 4.前記認識可能な点が肩甲骨上の点を含む請求の範囲第2項に記載の方法。 5.前記認識可能な点が胸骨上の点を含む請求の範囲第2項に記載の方法。 6.さらに、呼吸周期中に移動する患者の基準点の位置をモニターすることに より、患者が前記呼吸状態にある時間を検出する工程から成る請求の範囲第1項 に記載の方法。 7.前記選択された呼吸状態が患者の正常な呼吸周期の一段階である請求の範 囲第6項に記載の方法。 8.さらに、複数の呼吸周期にわたって前記基準点の位置をモニターし、当該 モニター処理に基づいて各周期において再現する基準点の極限値の位置を検出す ることによって前記呼吸周期の選択された段階に相当する基準点の特定位置を設 定する工程から成る請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 9.前記極限値の位置が最小の吸気状態に相当する請求の範囲第8項に記載の 方法。 10.前記患者が前記選択された段階にある時間を検出する工程が、前記基準 点の位置が所定の許容範囲内で前記設定工程において検出された極限値の位置に 整合しているか否かを決定する工程を含む請求の範囲第8項に記載の方法。 11.前記基準点の位置をモニターする工程が当該基準点上の少なくとも1個 のフィールドトランスデューサに対して、または、これから1種以上の非イオン 性の場を送信する工程を含む請求の範囲第6項に記載の方法。 12.前記プローブフィールドトランスデューサに対して、または、これから 前記場を送信する工程が1個以上の外部フィールドトランスデューサと当該プロ ーブフィールドトランスデューサとの間で場を送信する工程を含み、前記基準フ ィールドトランスデューサに対して、または、これから前記場を送信する工程が 前記外部フィールドトランスデューサと当該基準フィールドトランスデューサと の間で場を送信する工程を含む請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 13.前記進入工程がプローブを通気路内に進入させる工程を含む請求の範囲 第1項に記載の方法。 14.前記進入工程がプローブの一部を通気路の壁に通過させて当該通気路の 周囲の組織内の目的位置にある組織を採取または治療する工程を含む請求の範囲 第13項に記載の方法。 15.前記プローブが内視鏡と針を備えており、前記進入工程が、内視鏡が目 的位置の近くの通気路の壁に到達するまで当該内視鏡を進行させた後に、その通 気路の壁を通して針を進入させる工程を含む請求の範囲第14項に記載の方法。 16.前記表示工程が通気路とその周囲組織の透視画像を表示して、前記プロ ーブの位置と当該プローブを前記目的位置に移動するための軌道を表示画像上に 視覚可能にする工程を含む請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 17.医療患者の呼吸周期をモニターするための装置において、 (a)呼吸周期において移動する患者上の基準点の位置をモニターするための 手段と、 (b)当該モニター操作に基づいて各周期において再現する基準点の極限値の 位置を検出するための手段とから成ることを特徴とする装置。 18.さらに、前記基準点の位置が所定許容範囲内で前記極限値の位置に整合 しているか否かを決定するための手段から成る請求の範囲第17項に記載の装置 。 19.前記基準点の位置をモニターするための手段が、当該基準点において患 者の胸部の外部に取り付けるように構成された基準フィールドトランスデューサ と、基準位置決めフレームを定める1個以上の外部フィールドトランスデューサ と、当該外部フィールドトランスデューサと基準フィールドトランスデューサと の間で1種以上の非イオン性の場を送信して当該送信された場の1個以上の特性 を検出し、かつ、当該1個以上の特性から前記基準位置決めフレームにおける基 準フィールドトランスデューサの位置を決定するための感知手段を含む請求の範 囲第17項に記載の装置。 20.さらに、患者の呼吸器系の周囲組織内に挿入するように構成されたプロ ーブと、当該プローブ上の少なくとも1個のプローブフィールドトランスデュー サとから成り、前記感知手段が、前記外部フィールドトランスデューサとプロー ブフィールドトランスデューサとの間で1種以上の非イオン性の場を送信し、当 該送信された場の1個以上の特性を検出し、さらに、当該特性から基準位置決め フレームにおけるプローブフィールドトランスデューサの位置を決定するように 動作する請求の範囲第19項に記載の装置。
