Sowing mat
Technical field
The present invention relates to raising of seedlings of vegetables and flowers, creation sites, forest roads in mountains, embankments of rivers, etc.
Slopes, greening of general home and public gardens, parks, streets, etc. and golf courses, grounds
Construction in the fields of agriculture and greening, such as lawn grass, greening in arid areas, greening, etc.
Easy and reliable sowing, and greening resistant to watering and rainfall and resistant to drying
The present invention relates to a method or a mat for sowing and raising seedling used in the method.
Background art
Conventionally, when seeds are sown, for example, in the garden, mainly by hand or machine
Seeding with a machine is performed. Recently, steep and extensive areas such as lands and forest roads
When greening the surrounding slope, it is recommended that plant seeds be impregnated with resin cloth or the like.
It is used in the department.

When seeding is performed by such a conventional method, seeds are likely to be unevenly dispersed, and
In the case of greening using mechanical sowing and sowing seedling mats,
It was often difficult to apply. In addition, if watering and rainfall after seeding are insufficient,
Bud rate decreases, water absorption
The germination rate is low due to the loss of water absorption of the plant seeds against the water absorption of the polymer,
There are also problems such as germination taking days. In addition, conventional water-absorbing poly
Some mars may inhibit germination, growth, impair air permeability, water permeability,
There were also some types of polymers that had no properties.
In general, the seeds do not germinate without water even when sown on a mat for sowing and raising seedlings.
There is no danger of dying, but the particular problem is that once the seeds germinate,
If this is not possible or the sunshine continues, the germinated seedlings will die.
Conventional water-absorbing polymers generally have strong water absorption, and can store large amounts of water.
Although it is possible, it is not possible to supply the water once absorbed by the water-absorbing polymer to the plants.
Scratches and roots avoid the water-absorbing polymer, and there is enough water in the water-absorbing polymer.
Even so, there was a problem in that it died.

It is preferably 0.0005 to 5 mol%, particularly preferably 0.005 to 0.5 mol%.
No. The polymerization initiation temperature may be usually about -10C to + 80C.
When the degree of crosslinking of the poly-N-vinylamide polymer is too high, the water absorption is small.
In addition, when the degree of crosslinking is small, the water absorption capacity is not sufficiently exhibited.
These N-vinylamide polymers can be used in the form of films, tapes, fibers or powders.
It must be fixed in the form of a sowing seedling mat in the form. There are no restrictions on the fixing method
There is no limit, for example, weave the water-absorbing polymer tape, fiber, etc. into the mat
Use a glue of water-soluble resin to avoid spilling into the mat if it is a powder
And may be fixed, or may be laminated as a film.
The N-vinylamide polymer used in the present invention does not prevent germination of plant seeds.
No.
Therefore, when the seeds for raising seedlings are dry, the plant seeds are stable.
Does not germinate as seeds, but once in contact with moisture,
The coalescing rapidly absorbs the given water, and at the same time, also absorbs the plant seeds and germinates.
Will do.
Ordinary water-absorbing polymers not only have a large amount of water absorption, but also have a very large water-absorbing power.
Once absorbed, water is stored in the water-absorbing polymer without being supplied to others.
There is a strong tendency to be. Therefore, after germination, there is competition for water absorption with the seedlings,
Water is not supplied to the mats, and
regardless of,
The seedlings will die.
In contrast, N-vinylamide-based polymers have a higher water absorption power than other water-absorbing polymers.
Is small, so that water that is absorbed and stored is supplied to the seedlings.
Seedlings are less susceptible to watering and rainfall when using seed mats for planting
And increase resistance to sunshine and the like. In addition, because of high durability, after growing
The water retention function of the water-absorbing polymer increases the resistance to sunshine
You.
The method for producing the mat for sowing and seedling raising of the present invention is not particularly limited.
For plant seeds that require
To stick or to incorporate into the mat.
For seeds that do not require light for germination or that require shading, sowing seedlings
Paste the plant seeds on the back side of the mat, or stack two mats and put the plant seeds between them.
Or lay a mat for sowing and raising seedlings and cover the soil to an appropriate thickness.
You just have to take measures.
Of course, if you want to sow multiple types of plant seeds at the same time,
What is necessary is just to stick on a seed for raising seedlings, insert, etc. according to the characteristic of a thing seed.
The thickness of the mat for sowing and raising seedlings produced in this way is not particularly limited,
Although it is appropriately selected depending on the place of use or the properties of the plant seed, generally, the thickness is 0.01
5050 mm, preferably about 0.05-10 mm.
In this mat for sowing and raising seedlings, the blending amount of the N-vinylamide polymer is
Produced by the physical properties and shape of fiber substrates, water-soluble films or papers, and the degree of crosslinking of polymers
The preferred range varies depending on the properties to be used, the conditions of the place of use, the type of plant seed, etc.
Because the tolerance is large
There is almost no problem even if the suitable range is slightly deviated.
1mTwoPer 10g-1000g / mTwo, Preferably 50 to 500 g / mTwoMost of
Can be used in cases.
There is almost no limitation on plant seeds that can be used in the present invention.
, Grasses, woody plants, ornamental, edible or medicinal plants, vegetables, cereals, beans, etc.
What is it? These are selected according to the place of use and the purpose of use.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be further described with reference to examples. The present invention is not limited by the examples.
There is no restriction.
Example 1
N-vinylacetamide-based water-absorbing polymer powder 10 on a sheet made of wood pulp
0 g / mTwoSeeds of Chinese cabbage on a 2 mm thick sowing seedling mat
Eighty tablets were uniformly affixed with natural glue. Put these mats on peat moss and ba
-Attached to 16 nursery beds (25cm x 25cm) covered with cultivated soil mixed with equivalent amounts of mycurite
, Covered with the same cultivation soil to a thickness of 2cm, sprinkled enough water and then hit with rainwater
I left it without doing it.
The N-vinylacetamide-based water-absorbing polymer used here was N-vinylacetamide.
N, N'-diacetyl-N, N'-divinyl-1,4-biamide as amide and crosslinking agent
It was obtained using saminomethylcyclohexane.
When the germination rate was measured 7 days later, the average value was about 96%. Watering after this
When left unattended, the state of the seedlings after two weeks was observed.
I was
Similarly, after germination, watering was continued, and there was no difference from the one that prevented death due to drying.
It did not fit.
Comparative Example 1
For comparison, a commercially available polyethylene glycol was used instead of the water-absorbing polymer of Example 1.
Seeding using a water-based water-absorbing polymer [Aqua Coke (trademark) manufactured by Sumitomo Seika Co., Ltd.]
When the germination test and the drying test were performed on the seedling mat in exactly the same way, the germination rate was about
Although it was almost the same as 93%, the ratio of healthy seedlings after 2 weeks was 42% of the germinated seedlings.
Although watering was continued to prevent death due to drying, most of the seedlings
Most of the dead or weak seedlings lack water due to healthy growth
The result was confirmed.
Example 2
Seed raising nursery mat containing a predetermined amount of N-vinylacetamide-based water-absorbing polymer
[Except for the blending amount (% by weight of water-absorbing polymer based on the weight of wood pulp sheet)
The same as in Example 1] was filled in a plastic pot. Absorb liquid fertilizer from bottom
After soaking, leave it for 2 days to remove excess water, sow grass on it, and
The initial growth was made uniform by shielding the light. No irrigation condition with 7 days after seeding as 0 days elapsed
The effect of water retention on the turf was confirmed, and the growth of turf was investigated and observed.
The state of occurrence of the withering phenomenon is shown in Table 1 below. Contains water-absorbing polymer for comparison
A pot filled with an unseeded seedling mat was also prepared. Withering degree (average of n = 3)
-: Almost no death is found.
+: Leaf tip wilting ~ 10% withering.
++: 10-70% death.
+++: More than 70% withering.
* 1: Irrigation.
* 2: No watering.
Example 3
A mat for sowing and raising seedlings was manufactured using a vegetable fiber nonwoven fabric and a water-soluble film.
. The same N-vinylamide-based water-absorbing polymer as used in Example 1 75 g / mTwoAnd ba
Mudagrass seed 15g / mTwoBetween the non-woven fabric and the film, and
It was stuck together with the glue.
Subsequently, the mat for sowing and seedling raising obtained in place of the mat used in Example 1 was used.
Other than that, the operation described in Example 1 was repeated.
The results obtained were similar to those obtained in Example 1.
Industrial applicability
In the present invention, as a water-absorbing polymer used in a mat for sowing and raising seedlings
N-bi, which is considered to have a lower water absorbing power than conventionally used water absorbing polymers
Due to the use of a nilamide-based polymer, the mat contained plants when water was replenished.
Seeds germinate, but plant seeds do not germinate unless water is supplied.
If there is not enough water, the plant seeds will not die, and if there is enough water, they will germinate,
Plants can be supplied with water from the water-absorbing polymer even in long-term dry conditions
It is. This absorbed water is a seedling whose roots are not deep enough to penetrate the ground.
Such plants can be replenished with water.
For this reason, it is difficult to supply water even after germination
In seedlings, land, forests, etc., or in large plant growing areas
It is an effective mat for sowing and raising seedlings.
