うになっている。また、この主平行篩1は、前部(篩分
ゾーン)と後部(切断ゾーン)とに分かれており、篩分
ゾーンでは一定以下の寸法のものを貫過させて、それよ
りも大きなものから分別するようになっており、切断ゾ
ーンは篩分ゾーンを経てここに達したものゝうち、篩面
に刺入したものを切断して貫過させる機能を有してい
る。廻し篩2は、主平行篩1の篩分ゾーンの下位に設け
られていて、ここで篩分されたもの「1抜下」が始端部
に落とし込まれるようになっている。この廻し篩2も従
来から用いられている廻し篩と同じく、篩面21が前部か
ら後部に向かって緩やかに下傾し、後端部は開口してお
り、半径が100〜200mm程度の円運動をするようになって
いて、材料茶が篩分作用を受けながら次第に後方に向か
って移行して、篩残渣が後端部から排出されるようにな
っている。尚、この実施例では、篩面21の上に図2に示
すように鋏効果を有する回転式のスクレーパー22を取り
付けたり、図3に示すように間欠的に昇降するスクレー
パー23を取り付けて、篩面上にブラッシング現象が生じ
ないように構成して、篩分効果を高めてある。即ち、廻
し篩は篩面21上で被処理材料茶が転動するものであり、
これにより一定以下の寸法のものが篩面21の網目を貫過
して篩分されるが、材料茶葉は茶茎に葉が付いているた
め、茶茎の先端部分が網目に突き刺さって篩面に樹立し
た状態になるものがある。このようなものが増加する
と、所謂ブラッシング現象が生じ、他の材料茶が転動を
妨げられて、篩分効果が減殺される。スクレーパー22や
23を取り付けて、材料茶の網目に突き刺さって篩面に樹
立した部分を切断することにより、ブラッシング現象が
なくなり、効率のよい篩分が行われることゝなる。フィ
ーダ5は、主平行篩1の切断ゾーンの下位と供給コンベ
ヤ6の貯留槽61との間に設けられていて、切断ゾーンで
