Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize the work for fitting a joint to a handhole. SOLUTION: A face plate 34, having a joint inserting hole 33 in the center thereof and a peripheral wall 35 which is provided around the face plate 34 downwardly and has a cement charging opening 36 in the upper side thereof are provided. A form 32, formed of a plastic or a molding of plastic foam is brought into contact with the outside of a communication opening 3 of the handhole 2, the joint 4 is inserted into the communication opening 3 via a joint inserting hole 33 in the form 32, and the communication opening 3 is shielded by a screen 38 from the inside. A filler F is filled from a filling opening 36 in the form 32, to seal the communication opening 3 with the filler F, and the form 32 is detached after the filler F is cured. The form 32 can be combined easily, so that the fitting of the joint is rationalized substantially.
