Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of the prior art integrated air conditioner wherein the prior art is limited in its installation position, i.e., as installation conditions of the air conditioner, such as utilizing a window frame or drilling a through-hole through a wall or being buried in the wall, and hence it becomes impossible to easily mount the air conditioner on a wall surface of a relatively small room. SOLUTION: This integrated air conditioner has such a constitution that an indoor side heat exchanger and an indoor heat exchanger are disposed on a front surface side of the air conditioner, and indoor side blow-off air is blown out to a lower portion of the front surface of the air conditioner, and further part of indoor side blow-off air is exhausted to the outside of the room or to the outside of a building for installation thereof on the wall surface.

2. Description of the Related Art There are roughly two types of domestic air conditioners. A separate type air conditioner that connects an indoor unit and an outdoor unit with a refrigerant pipe to form a refrigeration cycle. There is an integrated air conditioner in which an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger, and a compressor are housed in one housing, and the housing is fitted into a window of a house or the like. Generally, a separate type air conditioner is advantageous in consideration of noise and the like, and has a high penetration rate. On the other hand, the transfer of the integrated air conditioner is relatively easy.

In the above-described integrated air conditioner, when the cooling operation is performed by the refrigeration cycle shown in FIG. 3, the flow of the refrigerant is as follows. The refrigerant discharged from the compressor 2 flows into the working-side heat exchanger 4 via the switching valve 18 and condenses. Thereafter, the pressure is reduced by the decompressor 19, evaporated in the use side heat exchanger 3, and returned to the compressor 2 via the switching valve 18 again.

Here, the refrigerant radiates heat (condenses) in the working side heat exchanger 4 and absorbs heat (evaporates) in the use side heat exchanger 3. At this time, the room air sucked by the working-side blower 6 is
It is heated when passing through the working-side heat exchanger 4 and is mainly blown out into the room, or a part is left in the room (the remaining amount of heat corresponding to the input of the air conditioner) passes through a duct described later. The air is exhausted to the outside as radiated air. On the other hand, the room air sucked in by the use side blower 5 is cooled by passing through the use side heat exchanger 3, and is blown into the room as cool air through the use side outlet passage 5b.
