As described above, in the elevator according to the present invention, at least the supporting member having the hoist installed thereon and the machine room surrounding the hoist are provided on the receiving member provided at the upper part of the hoistway. てたエレベータ機器を容易に搬入し据え付けることがで
き、また巻上機を支持する強度部材である支持部材を利
用して機械室壁部材も支持することができる。
