Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.超硬合金ボディー及び被膜を含むネズミ鋳鉄の仕上げ転削のための切削工 具インサートであって、前記超硬合金ボディーは平均粒度が<2μmのWC、5 〜12wt%のCo、及び<0.5wt%の周期律表IVb,Vb又はVIb族からの金 属の立方晶炭化物からなり、前記被膜はη相の形成なしに、且つバインダー相の エッチングなしにCVD法により蒸着されたTiCxNyの層を含むものにおいて 、前記被膜は全工程において750ミリバールと大気圧の間で、好ましくは90 0ミリバール超で、900℃と970℃の温度の間で、H2、N2及び任意のCH4 及びTiCl4、その後のHClの順序でガスを導入し、TiCl4の量を1. 5%と5%の間、好ましくは2.0%と3.5%の間に、そしてHClの量を1 .0%と6%の間、好ましくは1.5%と4%の間に保つこと、並びに前記被膜 が次のものを含むことを特徴とする切削工具インサート: −TiCxNyの内側層であって、ここに、x+y=1、好ましくはx<0.3 、y>0.7、最も好ましくはy>0.9で、厚さが0.1〜2μm、好ましく は0.5〜1.5μmであるもの。 −TiCxNyの中間層であって、ここに、x+y=1、好ましくはx<0.3 、y>0.7で、厚さが0.5〜3μm、好ましくは1〜2.5μmであり、前 記TiCxNyの水素中約800℃で1時間の熱処理の前及び後の(422)−反 射のピーク高さが「(422)−比」>1.5であり、ここに前記(422)− 比は次のように定義されるもの: −TiCxNyの外側層であって、ここに、x+y−1、好ましくはx<0.1 で、厚さが0.5〜2.5μm、好ましくは0.5〜1.5μmであるもの。 2.TiN(422)ピークのα2−反射がX線スペクトルに検出できないこ とを特徴とする先行の請求項に記載の切削インサート。 3.η相形成がなく、且つバインダー相のエッチングのないCVD法により、 超硬合金インサート上にTiCxNy層を蒸着する方法であって、全工程の間、圧 力を750ミリバールと大気圧の間、好ましくは900ミリバール超とし、温度 を900℃と970℃の間にし、ガスをH2、N2及び任意のCH4並びにTiC l4、続いてHClの順序で導入し、TiCl4の量を1.5%と5%の間、好ま しくは2.0%と3.5%の間に、HClの量を1.0%と6%の間、好ましく は1.5%と4%の間に保つことを特徴とする前記方法。
