複素環置換サリチル酸誘導体
本発明は、下記の式Iのサリチル酸誘導体に関する:
[但し、Aが、環中に1個の酸素原子、窒素原子又は硫黄原子を有するか、1〜
4個の窒素原子を有するか、又は1〜2個の窒素原子及びさらに1個の硫黄原子
もしくは酸素原子を有する5員のヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環に結合した
、少なくとも1個の−B−R5とさらに1個以上の下記の置換基:即ち、ニトロ
、ハロゲン、シアノ、非置換又は置換のアルキル、アルキルチオ、アルキルスル
ホニル、アルキルスルフィニル、ホルミル又は基R5を有していても良い);又
は環中に2〜3個の窒素原子を有する6員のヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環
に結合した、少なくとも1個の基−B−R5を有しそしてその他に1個以上の下
記の置換基:即ち、ニトロ、ハロゲン、シアノ、非置換又は置換のアルキル、ア
ルキルチオ、アルキルスルホニル、アルキルスルフィニル、ホルミル又は基R5
を有していても良い)を表し、
Bが酸素、硫黄、SO又はSO2を表し、
Xが酸素又は硫黄を表し、
Yが窒素又はC−Hを表し、
Zが窒素又は基C−R4を表し、
R1が、ハロゲン、アルキル、ハロアルキル、アルコキシ、ハロアルコキシ、
アルキルチオ、アルキルアミノ及び/又はジアルキルアミノを表し、
R2が、ハロゲン、アルキル、ハロアルキル、アルコキシ、ハロアルコキシ、
アルキルチオ、アルキルアミノ及び/又はジアルキルアミノを表し、
R3が、水素、スクシニルイミノオキシ基、1〜3個の窒素原子を有する5員
のヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環に結合した、1〜4個のハロゲン原子及び
/又は1〜2個の下記の置換基:即ち、アルキル、ハロアルキル、アルコキシ、
ハロアルコキシ及び/又はアルキルチオを有していても良い)、基OR6、
下記の基:
(但し、R7及びR8が同一でも異なっていても良く、mは0又は1である)、
又は下記の基:
を表し、
R4が、水素、アルキル又はハロゲンを表し、
R5が、非置換又は置換アルキル、ジアルキルアミノ又は非置換又は置換フェ
ニルを表し、
R6が、水素、アルカリ金属カチオン、当量のアルカリ土類金属カチオン、有
機アンモニウムイオン、
1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2個の下記の基:即ち、アルコキシ、
アルキルチオ、シアノ、アルキルカルボニル、アルコキシカルボニル、シクロア
ルキル、基−O−N=CR10R11、フェニル、フェノキシ又はフェニルカルボニ
ル(これらの芳香族基は、1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜3個の下記の
置換基:即ち、アルキル、ハロアルキル、アルコキシ、ハロアルコキシ及び/又
はアルキルチオを、結合して有していても良い)を、結合して有していても良い
アルキル基、
1〜5個のハロゲン原子、及び1〜3個の窒素原子を有しいても良い5員のヘ
テロ芳香族環、又は1〜3個の窒素原子と更に1個の硫黄原子又は酸素原子を有
する5員のヘテロ芳香族環(これらは、1〜4個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜
2個の下記の置換基:即ち、アルキル、ハロアルキル、アルコキシ、ハロアルコ
キシ及び/又はアルキルチオを結合して有していても良い)を、結合して有して
いても良いアルキル基、
下記の1個の基:即ちアルコキシイミノ、アルケニルオキシイミノ、ハロアル
ケニルオキシイミノ又はベンジルオキシイミノを、2位の位置に結合して有する
アルキル基、
1〜5個のハロゲンを結合して有していても良いアルケニル基又はアルキニル
基、
基−N=CR10R11(R10及びR11は同じでも異なっていても良い)、又は
1〜4個の窒素原子を有し、窒素原子を介して結合する5員の芳香性ヘテロ環
、又は1〜3個の窒素原子を有し、窒素原子を介して結合する5員の芳香性ヘテ
ロ環(これらはハロゲン、アルキル、ハロアルキルで置換されていても良い)、
を表し、
R7及びR8が、水素、
アルキル、アルケニル、アルキニル(これらの各基は1〜5個のハロゲン原子
及び/又は1〜2個の下記の置換基:即ち、アルコキシ、アルキルチオ、シアノ
、アルキルカルボニル、アルコキシカルボニル、ビス−ジアルキルアミノ、シク
ロアルキルを結合して有していても良い)、
フェニル又は置換フェニル、又は
下記の基:
を表すか、又はR7及びR8が、一緒になって環化アルキレン鎖又は酸素、硫黄又
は窒素でも良いヘテロ原子を有する環化アルキレン鎖(これらの各基は1〜3個
のアルキル置換基を結合して有していても良い)を表し、
R9が、1〜4個の下記の基:即ちハロゲン、ニトロ、シアノ、アルキルを結
合して有していても良いアルキル又はフェニルを表し、
R10及びR11が、フェニル基、アルコキシ基及び/又はアルキルチオ基を結合
して有していても良いアルキルを表すか、シクロアルキル、フェニルを表すか、
又は一緒に成って1〜5個のアルキル基を結合して有していても良く、そしてア
ルキレン鎖ではしかけされていても良いアルキレン鎖を表し、
R12が、水素、又はヒドロキシル、アミノ、硫化水素、アルキルチオ、カルボ
キシル、カルバモイル、グアニジニル、フェニル、ヒドロキシフェニル、イミダ
ゾリル又はインドールで置換されていても良いアルキルを表すか、又はR7と一
緒にアルキレン鎖を介して結合して環を形成し、
R13が、アルキル、アルケニル又はアルキニルを表し;
以上の定義において、
置換アルキル、置換アルコキシ、置換アルキルチオ、置換アルキルスルフィニ
ル、置換アルキルスルホニル、置換アルキルアミノ及び置換ジアルキルアミノは
、各場合、アルキル基が1から置換可能最大数のハロゲン、及び/又は1〜3個
の下記の基:即ち、ニトロ、シアノ、ハロアルコキシ、アルキルチオ、アルキル
アミノ、ジアルキルアミノ、アルキルカルボニル、アルコキシカルボニル、フェ
ニル、1〜3個のハロゲン又は1〜3個のメチル基で置換されたフェニル、フェ
ノキシ又は1〜3個のハロゲン又は1〜3個のメチル基で置換されたフェノキシ
で置換されてもいても良いことを意味するものであり、
置換フェニル、置換フェノキシ、置換フェニルチオ及び置換フェニルスルホニ
ルは、各場合、フェニル環が1〜5個のハロゲン、1〜3個のアルキル又はアル
コキシ、及び/又は1〜3個の下記の基:即ち、ニトロ、シアノ、ハロアルキル
、ハロアルコキシ、アルキルチオ、アルキルアミノ、ジアルキルアミノ、アルキ
ルカルボニル、アルコキシカルボニル、フェニル、1〜3個のハロゲン又は1〜
3個のメチル基で置換されたフェニル、フェノキシ又は1〜3個のハロゲン又は
1〜3個のメチル基で置換されたフェノキシで置換されてもいても良いことを意
味するものである]。
上記式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の好ましい態様は、各基が下記の意味を有する場
合である。
即ち、Aが、環中に1個の酸素原子、窒素原子又は硫黄原子を有するか、1〜
4個の窒素原子を有するか、又は1〜2個の窒素原子及びさらに1個の硫黄原子
もしくは酸素原子を有する5員のヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環に結合した
、少なくとも1個の−B−R5とさらに1個以上の下記の置換基:即ち、ニトロ
、ハロゲン、シアノ、非置換又は置換のC1〜C6アルキル、C1〜C4アルキルチ
オ、C1〜C4アルキルスルホニル、C1〜C4アルキルスルフィニル、ホルミル又
は基R5を有していても良い);又は環中に2〜3個の窒素原子を有する6員の
ヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環に結合した、少なくとも1個の基−B−R5
を有しかつ1個以上の下記の置換基:即ち、ニトロ、ハロゲン、シアノ、非置換
又は置換のC1〜C6アルキル、C1〜C4アルキルチオ、C1〜C4アルキルスルホ
ニル、C1〜C4アルキルスルフィニル、ホルミル又は基R5を有していても良い
)を表し、
好ましくはAが、環中に1個の酸素原子、窒素原子又は硫黄原子を有するか、
1〜4個の窒素原子を有するか、又は1〜2個の窒素原子及びさらに1個の硫黄
原子もしくは酸素原子を有する5員のヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環に結合
した、少なくとも1個の−OR5を有する)、又は環中に2〜3個の窒素原子を
有する6員のヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環に結合した、少なくとも1個の
基−OR5を有を表す。
Bが酸素、硫黄、SO又はSO2を表す。
Xが酸素又は硫黄を表す。
Yが窒素又はC−H(好ましくは窒素)を表す。、
Zが窒素又は基C−R4(好ましくはC−H又は窒素)を表す。
R1が、ハロゲン、C1〜C6アルキル、C1〜C4ハロアルキル、C1〜C4アル
コキシ、C1〜C4ハロアルコキシ、C1〜C4アルキルチオ、C1〜C4アルキルア
ミノ及び/又はジ−C1〜C4アルキルアミノを表し、好ましくはハロゲン、C1
〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4アルコキシ、C1〜C4ハロアルコキシである。
R2が、ハロゲン、C1〜C6アルキル、C1〜C4ハロアルキル、C1〜C4アル
コキシ、C1〜C4ハロアルコキシ、C1〜C4アルキルチオ、C1〜C4アルキルア
ミノ及び/又はジ−C1〜C4アルキルアミノを表し、好ましくはハロゲン、C1
〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4アルコキシ、C1〜C4ハロアルコキシで、特にC1〜C2
アルコキシ及びC1〜C2ハロアルコキシある。
R3が、水素;
スクシニルイミノオキシ基;
1〜3個の窒素原子を有する5員のヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環に結合
した、1〜4個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2個の下記の置換基:即ち、C1
〜C6アルキル、C1〜C4ハロアルキル、C1〜C4アルコキシ、C1〜C4ハロア
ルコキシ及び/又はC1〜C4アルキルチオを有していても良い);
基OR6、
下記の基:
(但し、R7及びR8が同一でも異なっていても良く、mは0又は1である)、又
は下記の基:
を表し、好ましくは水素、基OR6、基−(O)m−NR7R8、特に基OR6が好
ましい。
R4が、水素、C1〜C4アルキル又はハロゲンを表す。
R5が、非置換又は置換のC1〜C6アルキル、ジ−C1〜C4アルキルアミノ又
は非置換又は置換フェニルを表し、特に好ましくは非置換又は置換のC1〜C4ア
ルキルである。
R6が、水素、アルカリ金属カチオン、当量のアルカリ土類金属カチオン、有
機アンモニウムイオン、
1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2個の下記の基:即ち、C1〜C4アル
コキシ、C1〜C4アルキルチオ、シアノ、C1〜C4アルキルカルボニル、C1〜
C4アルコキシカルボニル、C3〜C6シクロアルキル、基−O−N=CR10R11
(R10及びR11が、同一でも異なっていていも良い)、フェニル、フェノキシ又
はフェニルカルボニル(これらの芳香族基は、1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又
は1〜3個の下記の置換基:即ち、C1〜C6アルキル、C1〜C4ハロアルキル、
C1〜C4アルコキシ、C1〜C4ハロアルコキシ及び/又はC1〜C4アルキルチオ
を、結合して有していても良い)を、結合して有していても良いC1〜C8アルキ
ル基、
1〜5個のハロゲン原子、及び1〜3個の窒素原子を有する5員のヘテロ芳香
族環、又は1〜3個の窒素原子と更に1個の硫黄原子又は酸素原子を環内に有す
る5員のヘテロ芳香族環(これらは、1〜4個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2
個の下記の置換基:即ち、C1〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4ハロアルキル、C1〜C4
アルコキシ、C1〜C4ハロアルコキシ及び/又はC1〜C4アルキルチオを結合し
て有していても良い)を、結合して有していても良いC1〜C6アルキル基、
下記の1個の基:即ちC1〜C4アルコキシイミノ、C1〜C4アルケニルオキシ
イミノ、C1〜C4ハロアルケニルオキシイミノ又はベンジルオキシオミノを、2
位の位置に結合して有するC1〜C6アルキル基、
1〜5個のハロゲンを結合して有していても良いC3〜C6アルケニル基又はC3
〜C6アルキニル基、
非置換又はニトロ、C1〜C4アルキル又はC1〜C4アルコキシでモノ−〜トリ
−置換された、又はハロゲンでモノ−〜ペンタ−置換されたフェニル、
基−N=CR10R11(R10及びR11は同じでも異なっていても良い)、又は
環内に1〜4個の窒素原子を有し、窒素原子を介して結合する5員の芳香族性
複素環、又は環内に1〜3個の窒素原子を有し、窒素原子を介して結合する5員
の芳香族性複素環(これらはハロゲン、C1〜C6アルキル、C1〜C4ハロアルキ
ルで置換されていても良い)、
を表す。
R7及びR8が、水素、
C1〜C6アルキル、C3〜C6アルケニル、C3〜C6アルキニル(これらの各基
は1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2個の下記の置換基:即ち、C1〜C4
アルコキシ、C1〜C4アルキルチオ、シアノ、C1〜C4アルキルカルボニル、C1
〜C4アルコキシカルボニル、ビス−ジ−C1〜C4アルキルアミノ、シクロ−C3
〜C6アルキルを結合して有していても良い)、
フェニル又は置換フェニル、又は
下記の基:
を表すか、又はR7及びR8が、一緒になって環化C1〜C6アルキレン鎖又は酸素
、硫黄又は窒素でも良いヘテロ原子を有する環化C1〜C6アルキレン鎖(これら
の各基は1〜3個のアルキル置換基を結合して有していても良い)を表
す。
R9が、1〜4個の下記の基:即ちハロゲン、ニトロ、シアノ、C1〜C4アル
キルを結合して有していても良いC1〜C6アルキル又はフェニルを表す。
R10及びR11が、フェニル基、C1〜C4アルコキシ基及び/又はC1〜C4アル
キルチオ基を結合して有していても良いC1〜C6アルキルを表すか、C3〜C6シ
クロアルキル、フェニルを表すか、又は一緒に成って1〜5個のC1〜C4アルキ
ル基を結合して有していても良くそしてC1〜C6アルキレン鎖で橋かけされてい
ても良いC1〜C6アルキレン鎖を表し、好ましくはC1〜C4アルキル、及び共に
形成するC1〜C5アルキレン鎖である。
R12が、水素、又はヒドロキシル、アミノ、硫化水素、アルキルチオ、カルボ
キシル、カルバモイル、グアニジニル、フェニル、ヒドロキシフェニル、イミダ
ゾリル又はインドリルで置換されていても良いC1〜C6アルキルを表すか、又は
R7と一緒にC1〜C4アルキレン鎖を介して結合して環を形成する。
R13が、C1〜C6アルキル、C1〜C4アルケニル又はC1〜C4アルキニルを表
す。
以上の定義において、
置換アルキル、置換アルコキシ、置換アルキルチオ、置換アルキルスルフィニ
ル、置換アルキルスルホニル、置換アルキルアミノ及び置換ジアルキルアミノは
、各場合、アルキル基が1から置換可能最大数のハロゲン、及び/又は1〜3個
の下記の基:即ち、ニトロ、シアノ、ハロアルコキシ、アルキルチオ、アルキル
アミノ、ジアルキルアミノ、アルキルカルボニル、アルコキシカルボニル、フェ
ニル、1〜3個のハロゲン又は1〜3個のメチル基で置換されたフェニル、フェ
ノキシ、又は1〜3個のハロゲン又は1〜3個のメチル基で置換されたフェノキ
シで置換されてもいても良いことを意味するものであり、そして
置換フェニル、置換フェノキシ、置換フェニルチオ及び置換フェニルスルホニ
ルは、各場合、フェニル環が1〜5個のハロゲン、1〜3個のアルキル又はアル
コキシ、及び/又は1〜3個の下記の基:即ち、ニトロ、シアノ、ハロアルキル
、ハロアルコキシ、アルキルチオ、アルキルアミノ、ジアルキルアミノ、アルキ
ルカルボニル、アルコキシカルボニル、フェニル、1〜3個のハロゲン又は1
〜3個のメチル基で置換されたフェニル、フェノキシ、又は1〜3個のハロゲン
又は1〜3個のメチル基で置換されたフェノキシで置換されてもいても良いこと
を意味するものである。
式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の好ましいものは、R6が下記の意味を有する:
R6が、水素、アルカリ金属カチオン、当量のアルカリ土類金属カチオン、有
機アンモニウムイオン、
1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2個の下記の基:即ち、C1〜C4アル
コキシ、C1〜C4アルキルチオ、シアノ、C1〜C4アルキルカルボニル、C1〜
C4アルコキシカルボニル、C3〜C6シクロアルキル、基−O−N=CR10R11
(R10及びR11が、同一でも異なっていていも良い)、フェニル、フェノキシ又
はフェニルカルボニル(これらの芳香族基は、1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又
は1〜3個の下記の置換基:即ち、C1〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4ハロアルキル、
C1〜C4アルコキシ、C1〜C4ハロアルコキシ及び/又はC1〜C4アルキルチオ
を、結合して有していても良い)を、結合して有していても良いC1〜C4アルキ
ル基、
1〜5個のハロゲンを結合して有していても良いC2〜C4アルケニル基又はC2
〜C4アルキニル基、
非置換又はニトロ、アルキル又はアルコキシでモノ〜トリ置換された、又はハ
ロゲンでモノ〜ペンタ置換されたフェニル、又は
基−N=CR10R11(R10及びR11は同じでも異なっていても良い)を表す。
上記において他の基は前述の意味を有する。
式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の更に好ましいものは、R7及びR8が下記の意味を有
する:
R7及びR8が、水素、
C1〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4アルケニル、C1〜C4アルキニル、
フェニル又は置換フェニル、又は
R7及びR8が、一緒になって環化C1〜C6アルキレン鎖又は酸素、硫黄又は窒
素でも良いヘテロ原子を有する環化C1〜C6アルキレン鎖(これらの各基は1〜
3個のアルキル置換基を結合して有していても良い)を表す。上記におい
て他の基は前述の意味を有する。
式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の特に好ましいものは、R6が下記の意味を有する:
R6が、水素、アルカリ金属カチオン、当量のアルカリ土類金属カチオン、有
機アンモニウムイオン、又は
1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2個の下記の基:即ち、アルコキシ、
アルキルチオ、フェニルを結合して有していても良いC1〜C2アルキル基を表す
。上記において他の基は前述の意味を有する。
式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の他の好ましいものとして、R6、R7及びR8が下記
の意味を有する:
R6が、水素、アルカリ金属カチオン、当量のアルカリ土類金属カチオン、有
機アンモニウムイオン、
1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2個の下記の基:即ち、C1〜C4アル
コキシ、C1〜C4アルキルチオ、シアノ、C1〜C4アルキルカルボニル、C1〜
C4アルコキシカルボニル、C3〜C6シクロアルキル、基−O−N=CR10R11
(R10及びR11が、同一でも異なっていていも良い)、フェニル、フェノキシ又
はフェニルカルボニル(これらの芳香族基は、1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又
は1〜3個の下記の置換基:即ち、C1〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4ハロアルキル、
C1〜C4アルコキシ、C1〜C4ハロアルコキシ及び/又はC1〜C4アルキルチオ
を、結合して有していても良い)を、結合して有していても良いC1〜C4アルキ
ル基、
1〜5個のハロゲンを結合して有していても良いC2〜C4アルケニル基又はC2

R7及びR8が、水素、
C1〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4アルケニル、C1〜C4アルキニル、フェニル又は

R7及びR8が、一緒になって環化C1〜C6アルキレン鎖又は酸素、硫黄又
は窒素でも良いヘテロ原子を有する環化C1〜C6アルキレン鎖(これらの各基は
1〜3個のアルキル置換基を結合して有していても良い)を表す。上記において
他の基は前述の意味を有する。
同様に、式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の好ましいものとして、R6、R7及びR8が
下記の意味を有する:
R6が、水素、アルカリ金属カチオン、当量のアルカリ土類金属カチオン、有
機アンモニウムイオン、又は
1〜5個のハロゲン原子及び/又は1〜2個の下記の基:即ち、アルコキシ、
アルキルチオ、フェニルを、結合して有していても良いC1〜C2アルキル基を表
し;
R7及びR8が、水素、
C1〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4アルケニル、C1〜C4アルキニル、フェニル又は
置換フェニル、又は
R7及びR8が、一緒になって環化C1〜C6アルキレン鎖又は酸素、硫黄又は窒
素でも良いヘテロ原子を有する環化C1〜C6アルキレン鎖(これらの各基は1〜
3個のアルキル置換基を結合して有していても良い)を表す。上記において他の
基は前述の意味を有する。
特に、式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の好ましいものとして、R1、R2及びYが下記
の意味を有する:
R1及びR2がアルコキシを表し、そしてYが窒素を表し、他の基は前述の意味
を有する。
他の式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の特に好ましいものとして、R1、R2、Y、Z及
びR3が下記の意味を有する:
R1及びR2がアルコキシを表し、Yが窒素を表し、ZがC−Hを表しそしてR3
がヒドロキシルを表し、他の基は前述の意味を有する。
式Iのサリチル酸誘導体の極めて好ましいものとして、R1、R2、Y、R3及
びAが下記の意味を有する:
R1及びR2がアルコキシを表し、Yが窒素を表し、R3がヒドロキシルを表し
、そして
Aが、1個の酸素原子、窒素原子又は硫黄原子を有するか、1〜4個の窒素原
子を有するか、又は1〜2個の窒素原子及びさらに1個の硫黄原子もしくは酸素
原子を、環内に有する5員のヘテロ芳香族環(該環は、更に該環に結合した、少
なくとも1個の−B−R5とさらに1個以上の下記の置換基:即ち、ニトロ、ハ
ロゲン、シアノ、非置換又は置換のアルキル、アルキルチオ、アルキルスルホニ
ル、アルキルスルフィニル、ホルミル又は基R5を有していても良い)を表す。
そして他の基は前述の意味を有する。
特許出願WO91/13065及びDE−A3919435には、除草剤とし
て活性を有するサリチルアルデヒド誘導体及びサリチル酸誘導体(それぞれ複素
環置換基を有する)が開示されている。文献で知られる化合物の活性は、除草活
性、栽培作物の選択性あるいは生物学的活性の改良の点では、常に満足できるの
ものではない。
このため、本発明の目的は、生物学的活性が改良された複素環置換サリチルア
ルデヒド及びサリチル酸誘導体を提供することにある。
従って、本発明者等は、上記目的が、冒頭で規定した複素環置換サリチル酸誘
導体Iにより達成されることを見出した。新規な化合物Iは、顕著な生物学的活
性と共に栽培植物の改良された選択性を有する。
本発明者等は、更に化合物Iの製造方法及びそれを除草剤及び成長調整剤とし
て使用する方法も見出した。
式Iの化合物は、複数の経路から得ることができる。
複素環錫化合物IIとベンゾ[1,3]ジオキシノンIIIとから、パラジウム触
媒と共に公知の方法で製造できる(EP657441)ベンゾ[1,3]−ジオ
キシノンIVを介する経路が特に好ましい。得られたベンゾ[1,3]−ジオキシ
ノンIVを、まず塩基の存在又は不存在下に、それ自体公知の方法で求核試薬R3
−Hにより開環させてサリチル酸誘導体Vを得、それを塩基の存在又は不存在下
にそれ自体公知の方法でタイプVIの複素環と反応させる: 上記反応式において、R12がC1〜C6アルキル及びC1〜C6シクロアルキルを
表し、R16(R13)がハロゲン原子(好ましくは臭素又は沃素)又はトリフルオ
ロメチルスルホニルオキシ基を表し、そしてR14がハロゲン、アルキル又はアリ
ールスルホニル等の求核性脱離基(nucleofugic leaving group)を表す。
さらに、誘導体A−R16(誘導体A−R13)を、式VIIの錫置換安息香酸とパ
ラジウム触媒と反応させ、得られた安息香酸VIIIをサリチル酸Vaに、それ自体公
知の方法で転化する:

触媒活性を有するパラジウム化合物が、上記2種の工程のそれぞれにおいて使
用される。反応混合物に少なくとも部分的でも溶解するパラジウム塩又は錯体は
好適といえる。パラジウムの酸化レベルは0又は2の場合が多い。パラジウム塩
の適当な対イオンとしては、特に、塩素、臭素、沃素、スルフェート、アセテー
ト、トリフルオロアセテート、アセチルアセトネート又はヘキサフルオロ−2,
4−ペンタジオネートを挙げることができる。
多くの異種のパラジウム錯体を使用することができる。唯一必須なことは、パ
ラジウムのリガンド(配位子)を、反応条件下で基質と置換し得ることである。
特に好適なリガンドとしては、ホスフィンリガンド、例えばアリール−アルキル
ホスフィン(例、特にメチルジフェニルホスフィン、イソプロピルジフェニルホ
スフィン)、トリアリールホスフィン(例、特にトリフェニルホスフィン、トリ
トリルホスフィン、トリキシリルホスフィン)、トリヘテロアリールホスフィン
(例、特にトリフリルホスフィン、二量化ホスフィン)を挙げることができる。
組み合わせて良く用いられる物資としては、オレフィンリガンド、例えば、特
にジベンジリデンアセトン又はその塩、シクロオクタ−1,5−ジエン、又はア
ミン、例えばトリアルキルアミン(例、トリエチルアミン、テトラメチルエチレ
ンジアミン、N−メチルモルホリン)又はピリジンを挙げることができる。
上記錯体は、反応で直接使用することができる。この手順は、例えば、テトラ
キストリフェニルホスフィンパラジウム(0)、ビストリフェニルホスフィンパ
ラジウムジクロリド、ビストリフェニルホスフィンパラジウムジアセテート、ジ
ベンジリデンアセテート/パラジウム(0)錯体、テトラキスメチルジフェニル
ホスフィンパラジウム(0)又はビス(1,2−ジフェニルホスフィノエタン)
パラジウムジクロリドを用いて行われ得る。パラジウム塩及び更に好適なリガン
ドを使用することもでき、そしてそれから触媒的に活性な錯体がその場で形成さ
れる。この手順は、例えば、上記の塩及びホスフィンリガンド(例、トリフリル
ホスフィン又はトリトリルホスフィン)に好適である。パラジウム錯体(例、ト

一般に、パラジウム化合物(塩又は錯体)は、化合物II又はVIIに対して、0
.001〜10モル%、特に0.005〜5モル%の量で使用される。もっと多
い量で使用することもできるが、非経済的である。化合物II又はVIIは、それぞ
れ、一般に反応剤III及びA−R13に対して、0.8〜3モル当量、特に0.9
5〜1.5モル当量の量で使用される。溶剤としては、それ自身が使用される基
質と反応しない全ての溶剤が反応に好適である。極性溶剤は反応を促進する。特
に、エーテル(例、ジエチルエーテル、メチルtert−ブチルエーテル、ジメ
トキシエタン、テトラヒドロフラン、ジオキサン)、アミド(例、ジメチルホル

ばエーテルとアミド、はしばしば有利である。混合物の他の組成は、アルキルア
ルコールと水、特に基Bが硼素原子を含む場合に好適である。テトラアルキルア
ンモニウムハライド又はアルカリ金属ハライド(例、塩化リチウム)の添加は、
しばしば有用であり、特にZがスルホニルオキシ基の場合に好ましい。有機又は
無機の塩基(例、炭酸カリウム、炭酸ナトリウム、炭酸カルシウム、水酸化カル

反応温度は、−20〜200℃、特に50〜160℃が好ましい。反応時間は
、通常、数分〜50時間、多くの場合0.5〜10時間の範囲である。低沸点溶
剤を用いた場合、オートクレーブ内で固有の圧力で反応させることが有用な場合
がある。
式VIIの有機錫化合物は、基となる安息香酸を適当な塩基で低温にて塩基性化
して金属化し、次いで生成物をトリアルキル錫化合物と反応させることにより得
られる:
適当な塩基としては、主としてシクロアルキル−又はアルキル−リチウム化合
物であり、特に市販のブチル−及びヘキシル−リチウム異性体が適当である。金
属化を助けるために助剤を添加することもしばしば好ましい。適当な助剤は、エ
ーテル、アルコラート(例、カリウムtert−ブチラート)、又はアミン(例
、テトラメチルエチレンジアミン)等である。金属化は、(−130)℃〜0℃
、好ましくは(−100)℃〜(−50)℃で行うことができる。金属化反応に
通常使用される溶剤は全て、この反応にも好適であり、ジエチルエーテル、メチ
ルtert−ブチルエーテル、テトラヒドロフラン及び単純な炭化水素が特に好
適である;これらの混合物の使用も有利な場合がある。金属化の反応時間は一般
に数分〜数時間の範囲である。トリアルキル錫化合物を次いで添加する;R13は

いは非水性での仕上げが行われる;最初の場合、緩衝液により水層のpHを一定

を、仕上げ前に低温で添加する場合に、かなり増加させることができる。適当な
物質としては、例えば、二酸化炭素、水、アルキルハライド又はベンジルハライ
ドを挙げることができる。所望により、式Iの有機錫化合物を、例えばシリカゲ
ル上のクロマトグラフィにより、更に精製することができる。これらは仕上げの
間、又種々なpHの水に対しても安定であることが分かる。又室温で貯蔵するこ
ともできる。
式Iの活性成分を合成する別の方法は、複素環ホルミル化合物IXを公知の方法
により対応するクロトンアルデヒドXに転化し、その後、それ自体公知の方法(
EP402751)で反応させ、シクロヘキセノンXI及びサリチル酸誘導体
XIIを経て、活性成分を得る方法である: 安息香酸誘導体、即ち化合物I(R3がOH基である)を、適当な前駆体I(

化合物I及びその農業上有用な塩−異性体混合物及び純粋な異性体の両方共−
除草剤として好適である。Iを含む除草剤組成物は、非栽培領域の植生を、特に
高施与率で、防除するのに好適である。これらの組成物は、オオムギ、米、トウ
モロコシ、大豆、及び綿花等の作物の中に広範囲に残った雑草及び牧草に対して

さらに、上記化合物Iは、一般的な処理方法を含む繁殖の結果、除草剤の作用
に耐性を有する作物に、一般的な処理法を含めて使用することができる。
上記除草剤組成物又は活性成分は、事前法または事後法により施与される。有
効物質にある種の栽培植物が少なからず耐性を示す場合は、下部に成長している
雑草または露出している土壌には付着しても、敏感な栽培植物の葉にできるだけ
接触しないように、噴霧装置により除草剤を噴霧することができる(後直接撒
布、レイ−バイ)。
化合物I又はこれらを含む除草剤組成物は、例えば直接的に噴霧可能な水溶液
、粉末、懸濁液、高濃度の水性、油性またはその他の懸濁液または分散液、エマ
ルジョン、油性分散液、ペースト、ダスト剤、散布剤または顆粒の形で、噴霧、
ミスト法、ダスト法、散布法または注入法によって施与することができる。施与
方法は、使用目的に基づいて決定される。いずれの場合にも、本発明の有効物質
の可能な限りの微細分配が保証されるべきである。
不活性添加剤としては、主として次のようなものである:中位乃至高位の沸点
の鉱油留分(例えば燈油またはディーゼル油、更にコールタール油等)、並びに
植物性または動物性産出源の油、脂肪族、環状および芳香族炭化水素(例えばパ
ラフィン、テトラヒドロナフタリン、アルキル置換ナフタリンまたはその誘導体
、アルキル置換ベンゼン又はその誘導体)、アルコール(例えばメタノール、エ
タノール、プロパノール、ブタノール、シクロヘキサノール)、ケトン(例えば
シクロヘキサノン等)、高極性溶剤(例えばN−メチルピロリドン、水)。
水性使用形態は、乳濁液濃縮物、懸濁液、ペースト、または湿潤可能の粉末、
水分散可能の粉末から水の添加により製造することができる。乳濁液、ペースト
または油分散液の製造は、物質をそのまま、または油または溶剤中に溶解して、
湿潤剤、接着剤、分散剤または乳化剤により水中に均質に混合することにより行
うことができる。あるいは有効物質、湿潤剤、接着剤、分散剤または乳化剤およ
び場合により溶剤または油よりなる濃縮物を製造することもでき、これは水にて
希釈するのに適する。
界面活性剤(助剤)としては次のものが挙げられる:芳香族スルホン酸(例え
ばリグニンスルホン酸、フェノールスルホン酸、ナフタリンスルホン酸、ジブチ
ルナフタリンスルホン酸)のアルカリ金属塩、アルカリ土類金属塩及びアンモニ
ウム塩;脂肪酸、アルキルスルホナート、アルキルアリールスルホナート、アル
キルスルファート、ラウリルエーテルスルファート、脂肪アルコールスルファー
トのアルカリ金属塩、アルカリ土類金属塩及びアンモニウム塩;硫酸化ヘキサデ
カノール、ヘプタデカノールおよびオクタデカノールの塩;硫酸化脂肪アルコー
ルグリコールエーテルの塩;並びにスルホン化ナフタリンおよびナフタリン誘導
体とホルムアルデヒドとの縮合生成物、ナフタリン或はナフタリンスルホン酸と
フェノールおよびホルムアルデヒドとの縮合生成物、ポリオキシエチレン−オク
チルフェノールエーテル、エトキシル化イソオクチルフェノール、エトキシル化
オクチルフェノール、エトキシル化ノニルフェノール、アルキルフェノールポリ
グリコールエーテル、トリブチルフェニルポリグリコールエーテル、アルキルア
リールポリエーテルアルコール、イソトリデシルアルコール、脂肪アルコール/
エチレンオキシド縮合物、エトキシル化ヒマシ油、ポリオキシエチレンアルキル
エーテル、またはポリオキシプロピレンアルキルエーテル、ラウリルアルコール
ポリグリコールエーテルアセタート、ソルビットエステル、リグニン−亜硫酸廃
液およびメチルセルロース。
粉末、散布剤およびダスト剤は活性成分と固体担体物質とを混合または一緒に
磨砕することにより製造することができる。
粒状体(例えば被覆粒状体、含浸粒状体および均質粒状体)は、有効物質を固
体担体物質に結合させることにより製造することができる。
固体担体物質の例としては、鉱物土(例えばシリカ、シリカゲル、珪酸塩、タ
ルク、カオリン、石灰石、石灰、白亜、膠塊粒土、石灰質黄色粘土、クレイ、白
雲石、珪藻土、硫酸カルシウム、硫酸マグネシウム、酸化マグネシウム、磨砕合
成物質)、及び肥料(例えば硫酸アンモニウム、燐酸アンモニウム、硝酸アンモ
ニウム、尿素)及び植物性生成物(例えば穀物粉、樹皮、木材およびクルミ穀粉
、セルロース粉末)および他の固形担体物質である。
直ぐ使用可能な調製液の活性成分Iの濃度は、広い範囲で変更することができ
る。一般に、その処方は、活性成分を、0.001〜98%、好ましくは0.1
〜95%の量で含む。活性成分は90〜100%の純度(NMRスペクトルによ
る)のもの、好ましくは95〜100%の純度のものが使用される。
本発明の化合物Iは、例えば、下記のように配合することができる:
I:
20重量部の化合物No.50を、80重量部のアルキル化ベンゼン、10重
量部の、オレイン酸N−モノエタノールアミド(1モル)のエチレンオキシド(
8〜10モル)付加体、5重量部のドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸カルシウム及
び5重量部の、ヒマシ油(1モル)のエチレンオキシド(40モル)付加体から
なる混合物に溶解させる。この溶液を100000重量部の水に注ぎ、その中で
微細に分散させ、これにより0.02重量%の有効成分を含む水性分散液を得る
。
II:
20重量部の化合物No.5を、40重量部のシクロヘキサノン、30重量部
のイソブタノール、20重量部の、イソオクチルフェノール(1モル)のエチレ
ンオキシド(7モル)付加体及び10重量部の、ヒマシ油(1モル)のエチレン
オキシド(40モル)付加体からなる混合物に溶解させる。この溶液を1000
00重量部の水に注ぎ、その中で微細に分散させ、これにより0.02重量%の
有効成分を含む水性分散液を得る。
III :
20重量部の化合物No.3を、25重量部のシクロヘキサノン、65重量部
の鉱物油(沸点210〜280℃の留分)及び10重量部の、ヒマシ油(1モル
)のエチレンオキシド(40モル)付加体からなる混合物に溶解させる。この溶
液を100000重量部の水に注ぎ、その中で微細に分散させ、これにより0.
02重量%の有効成分を含む水性分散液を得る。
IV:
20重量部の化合物No.6を、3重量部のジイソブチルナフタレンスルホン
酸ナトリウム、17重量部のリグノスルホン酸のナトリウム塩(亜硫酸廃液から
得られる)及び60重量部の微粉末のシリカゲルと完全に混合させ、そしてその
混合物をハンマーミルで磨砕する。最後に、この混合物を20000重量部の水
に分散させ、その中で微細に分散させ、これにより0.1重量%の有効成分を含
む噴霧混合物を得る。
V:
3重量部の化合物No.50を、97重量部の微粉砕カオリンと混合し、これ
により3重量%の有効成分を含むダストを得る。
VI:
20重量部の化合物No.5を、2重量部のドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸カル
シウム、8重量部の脂肪アルコールポリグリコールエーテル、2重量部のフェノ
ール/尿素/ホルムアルデヒド縮合物のナトリウム塩及び68重量部のパラフィ
ン鉱物油と充分に混合させ、これにより安定な油性分散液を得る。
VII :
1重量部の化合物No.3を、70重量部のシクロヘキサノン、20重量部の
エトキシル化イソオクチルフェノール及び10重量部のエトキシル化ヒマシ油か
らなる混合物に溶解させる。これにより安定なエマルジョン濃縮体を得る。
VIII:
1重量部の化合物No.6を、80重量部のシクロヘキサノン及び20重量部
のエマルファーEL(Emulphor EL; エトキシル化ヒマシ油)からなる混合物に
溶解させる。これにより安定なエマルジョン濃縮体を得る。
作用範囲を広げ、そして相乗作用を得るために、置換サリチル酸誘導体Iを多
くの他の代表的なグループの除草剤又は成長調整剤の活性成分と混合することが
でき、そしてこれらと共に施与される。混合に適当な成分としては、1,2,4
−チアジアゾール、1,3,4−チアジアゾール、アミド、アミノホスホン酸及
びその誘導体、アミノトリアゾール、アニリド、(Het)アリールオキシアル
カン酸及びその誘導体、安息香酸及びその誘導体、ベンゾチアジアジノン、2−
アロイル−1,3−シクロヘキサンジオン、ヘテロアリールアリールケトン、ベ
ンジルイソキサゾリジノン、メタ−CF3−フェニル誘導体、カルバメート、キ
ノリンカルボン酸及びその誘導体、クロロアセトアニリド、シクロヘキサン−1
,3−ジオン誘導体、ジアジン、ジクロロプロピオン酸及びその誘導体、ジヒド
ロベンゾフラン、ジヒドロフラン−3−オン、ジニトロアニリン、ジニトロフェ
ノール、ジフェニルエーテル、ビピリジル、ハロカルボン酸及びその誘導体、尿
素、3−フェニルウラシル、イミダゾール、イミダゾリノン、N−フェニル−3
,4,5,6−テトラヒドロナフタルイミド、オキサジアゾール、オキシラン、
フェノール、アリールオキシ−又はヘテロアリールオキシフェノキシプロピオン
酸エステル、フェニル酢酸及びその誘導体、フェニルプロピオン酸及びその誘導
体、ピラゾール、フェニルピラゾール、ピリダジン、ピリジンカルボン酸及びそ
の誘導体、ピリミジルエーテル、スルホンアミド、スルホニル尿素、トリア
ジン、トリアジノン、トリアゾリノン、トリアゾールカルボキシアミド及びウラ
シル、を挙げることができる。
更に、化合物Iは、単一、あるいは他の除草剤又は成長調整剤との組合せたもの
を、他の植物保護剤、例えば殺害虫剤または植物殺菌剤または殺バクテリア剤と
共に施用することが有利であり得る。苗栄養不足、希元素欠乏などの症状治癒の
ために使用されるミネラル塩溶液と混合し得ることことも重要である。植物に無
害の油類、油濃縮物類に添加し得る。
活性成分の施与率は、施与目的、季節、対象の植物および成長段階に応じて、
ヘクタールあたり0.001〜3.0kgの有効物質(a.i.)の量、好まし
くは0.01〜1.0kgの量である。
[使用実施例]
式Iの置換サリチル酸誘導体の除草作用を温室実験で示す。
プラスチック植木鉢を栽培容器として用い、約3.0%腐植したローム質の砂
を培養基とした。被検植物の種子を種類ごとに播種した。
事前法(pre-emergence treatment)により、水中に懸濁または乳化させた有効
物質を、種子を撒いた後に細分布したノズルを使用して直接撒布した。出芽と成
長を促進するために容器を軽く灌水し、次いで植物が根付くまで透明のプラスチ
ックの覆いを被せた。有効物質により害が与えられない限り、この被覆が被検植
物の均一な出芽をもたらす。
事後法(post-emergence treatment)による処理を行う目的で、被検植物を、発
育型によるが、草丈3〜15cmとなった後、水中に懸濁または乳化させた有効
物質で処理した。この場合、被検植物を直接播種し同一の容器で栽培することも
、当初は別々に苗として植え、処理の行われる2〜3日前に試験用容器に移植す
ることも可能である。事後法の場合の有効成分(a.i.)の施与率を、1ha
(ヘクタール)当たり0.0312〜0.0516kgとした。
各被検植物を種類により、10〜25℃または20〜35℃に保持し、実験期
間を2〜4週間とした。この間、被検植物を管理し、個々の処理に対する反応を
評価した。
0〜100の尺度に基づき評価を行った。この尺度において100は植物が全
く出芽しないか、或いは少なくとも地上に出ている部分の全てが破壊してしまっ
たことを示し、0は全く被害がなく正常な成長を遂げたことを示す。
以下に温室実験で使用した植物の種類を示す。
[合成例]
下記の合成例で示される記述は、異なった出発物質を用いることにより他の化
合物Iを得るために使用することができる。得られた生成物の物理的なデータは
下記の表に示す。これらのデータのない化合物も、同様な方法で対応する析出物
から合成することができる。表に示された構造は、式Iの特に好ましい活性成分
である。
EP−657441に記載されていない、出発物質として使用されるこれらの
2,2−ジメチル−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4−オンは、この公報
に記載の方法と類似の方法で得ることができる。
1.
2−(4,6−ジメトキシピリミジン−2−イルオキシ)−6−(2−メトキ
シチアゾール−5−イル)安息香酸(例のNo.50):
出発物質は、2,2−ジメチル−5−トリフルオロメチルスルホニルオキシ−
4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4−オンを、2−メトキシチアゾールの金
属化及び錫化で得られた錫化合物とカップリングすることにより慣用法で得た。
1.7g(5.8ミリモル)の2,2−ジメチル−5−(2−メトキシチアゾー
ル−5−イル)−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4−オンを、80mlの
水中で、241mg(5.8ミリモル)の97%の純度の水酸化ナトリウム及び
0.2mlの40%濃度の水酸化テトラブチルアンモニウムと共に4時間還流し
た。ろ過後、その混合物を減圧下濃縮し、その後大気圧より少し低い圧力、70
℃にて、トルエンで沸騰させて5回抽出した。生成物(1.57g)を、80m
lのジメチルスルホキシド中で、少量の分子ふるい(4オングストローム)及び
646mg(5.8ミリモル)のカリウムtert−ブチラートで処理し、次い
で混合物を室温で1時間攪拌した。1.26g(5.8ミリモル)の4,6−ジ
メトキシ−2−メチルスルホニルピリミジンを、続いて加え、混合物を室温にて
一晩攪拌した。反応混合物を燐酸で酸性にした水に移し、その混合物を酢酸エチ
ルで繰り返し抽出した。有機層を集め、水で繰り返し洗浄し、硫酸ナトリウムで
乾燥し、そして減圧濃縮した。収率は2.05g、融点は150〜153℃であ
った。
2.
2−(4,6−ジメトキシピリミジン−2−イルオキシ)−6−(2,4−ジ
メトキシピリミジン−5−イル)安息香酸(例のNo.69):
a)2,4−ジメトキシ−5−トリブチル錫ピリミジン:
1.6Mのn−ブチルリチウムのヘキサン溶液45mlを、15.0g(68
.5ミリモル)の2,4−ジメトキシ−5−ブロモピリミジンを400mlのジ
エチルエーテルに溶解した溶液に0℃にて滴下し、−75℃で1.5時間攪拌し
た。その後、23.2g(68.5ミリモル)の96%純度の塩化トリブチル錫
を、この温度で、得られた黄色の懸濁液に滴下し、混合物を室温にした後、1時
間攪拌を続けた。減圧下で濃縮後、36.6gの粗生成物を得た(後の工程はこ
れを直接使用した)。1HNMR(CDCl3):δ=0.85(t);1.05
(t);1.22(m);1.50(m);3.95(s);4.00(s);
8.12(s)。
b)2,2−ジメチル−5−(2,4−ジメトキシ−ピリミジン−5−イル)
−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4−オン:
オートクレーブ中で、12.1g(37ミリモル)の2,2−ジメチル−5−
トリフルオロメチルスルホニルオキシ−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4
−オン、20.0gの上記錫化合物、4.72g(111ミリモル)の塩化リチ
ウム、855mg(0.74ミリモル)のテトラキストリフェニルホスフィンパ
ラジウム(0)及び50mgの2,6−ビス−tert−ブチル−4−メチルフ
ェノールを、140mlのジオキサン中にて140℃で6時間加熱した。次いで
、得られた混合物を、減圧下濃縮し、シリカゲル上でトルエン/酢酸エチルを用
いてクロマトグラフィ分析を行い、その後シクロヘキサンと攪拌した。収率が3
.5gで、融点が194〜196℃であった。
c)2−(4,6−ジメトキシピリミジン−2−イルオキシ)−6−(2,4
−ジメトキシピリミジン−5−イル)安息香酸:
1.5g(4.8ミリモル)の2,2−ジメチル−5−(2,4−ジメトキシ
ピリミジン−5−イル)−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4−オンを、6
0mlの水の中で196mgの97%純度の水酸化ナトリウム及び0.
16mlの40%濃度の水酸化tert−ブチルアンモニウム溶液と共に、8.
5時間還流した。得られた混合物をろ過し、ろ液を減圧下濃縮し、生成物を、そ
の後大気圧より少し低い圧力、75℃にて、トルエンで沸騰させて7回抽出した
。生成物(1.41g)を、70mlのジメチルスルホキシドに移し、532m
g(4.75ミリモル)のカリウムtert−ブチラートを室温にて加え、次い
で室温で1時間攪拌した。1.04g(4.75ミリモル)の4,6−ジメトキ
シ−2−メチルスルホニルピリミジンを、続いて加え、混合物を室温にて一晩攪
拌した。反応混合物を燐酸で酸性にした水に移し、その混合物を酢酸エチルで繰
り返し抽出した。有機層を集め、水で繰り返し洗浄し、硫酸ナトリウムで乾燥し
、そして減圧濃縮した。収率は0.9g、融点は161〜162℃であった。

2−(4,6−ジメトキシピリミジン−2−イルオキシ)−6−(2,4−ジ
メトキシピリミジン−6−イル)安息香酸(例のNo.68):
a)2,4−ジメトキシ−6−トリブチル錫ピリミジン:
1.4Mのsec−ブチルリチウムのヘキサン溶液27ml(38ミリモル)
を、7.55g(34.5ミリモル)の2,4−ジメトキシ−6−ブロモピリミ
ジンの120mlジエチルエーテル溶液及び120mlテトラヒドロフランに、
−100℃にて滴下し、−100℃で5分間攪拌した。その後、この温度で、1
1.7g(34.5ミリモル)の96%純度の塩化トリブチル錫を滴下し、−8
0℃で30分間攪拌を続けた後、室温に戻した。減圧下で濃縮後、18.9gの
粗生成物を得た(後の工程はこれを直接使用した)。1HNMR(CDCl3):
δ=0.90(t);1.07(t);1.32(m);1.58(m);3.

b)2,2−ジメチル−5−(2,4−ジメトキシ−ピリミジン−6−イル)
−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4−オン:
オートクレーブ中で、7.07g(21.7ミリモル)の2,2−ジメチル−
5−トリフルオロメチルスルホニルオキシ−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン
−4−オン、18.6gの上記錫化合物、2.77g(65ミリモル)の塩化リ
チウム、502mg(0.43ミリモル)のテトラキストリフェニルホスフィン
パラジウム(0)及び40mgの2,6−ビス−tert−ブチル−4−メチル
フェノールを、200mlのジオキサン中にて140℃で3時間加熱した。次い
で、得られた混合物を、減圧下濃縮し、シリカゲル上でトルエン/酢酸エチルを
用いてクロマトグラフィ分析を行い、その後シクロヘキサンと攪拌した。収率が
2.5gで、融点が174℃であった。
c)2−(4,6−ジメトキシピリミジン−2−イルオキシ)−6−(2,4
−ジメトキシピリミジン−6−イル)安息香酸:
1.5g(4.8ミリモル)の2,2−ジメチル−5−(2,4−ジメトキシ
ピリミジン−6−イル)−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4−オンを、6
0mlの水の中で196mgの97%純度の水酸化ナトリウム及び0.16ml
の40%濃度の水酸化tert−ブチルアンモニウム溶液と共に、6時間還流し
た。得られた混合物を酸性化し、抽出し、そして抽出物を硫酸ナトリウム上で乾
燥し、減圧乾燥した。生成物(1.07g、3.88ミリモル)を、50mlの
ジメチルスルホキシドに移し、870mg(7.77ミリモル)のカリウムte
rt−ブチラートを室温にて加え、次いで室温で0.5時間攪拌した。848m
g(3.89ミリモル)の4,6−ジメトキシ−2−メチルスルホニルピリミジ
ンを、続いて加え、混合物を室温にて一晩攪拌した。反応混合物を燐酸で酸性に
した水に移し、その混合物を酢酸エチルで繰り返し抽出した。有機層を集め、水
で繰り返し洗浄し、硫酸ナトリウムで乾燥し、そして減圧濃縮した。収率は0.
95g、融点は140〜143℃であった。

2−(4,6−ジメトキシピリミジン−2−イルオキシ)−6−(1−メトキ
シピラゾール−5−イル)安息香酸(例のNo.3):
a)5−トリブチル錫−1−メトキシ−ピラゾール:
15g(153ミリモル)の1−メトキシピラゾール(DE3409317に
従って製造された)を、280mlの乾燥エーテルに溶解し、その溶液を−70
℃に冷却した。96.8ml(163ミリモル)のtert−ブチル錫の1.7
モルヘキサン溶液を滴下し、1.5時間攪拌を続け、その後49.8g(153
ミリモル)の塩化トリブチル錫を加えた。得られた混合物をゆっくり室温に戻し
、一晩攪拌を続けた。それから、混合物を150mlの水で加水分解し、有機層
を分離し、水及び飽和塩化ナトリウム溶液で洗浄し、硫酸ナトリウムで乾燥し、
濃縮した。得られた残渣は蒸留により低沸点物が除去された。55gの生成物を
得た(GC純度:93%)。
b)2,2−ジメチル−5−(1−メトキシピラゾール−5−イル)−4H−
(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4−オン:
オートクレーブ中で、23.1g(71ミリモル)の2,2−ジメチル−5−
トリフルオロメチルスルホニルオキシ−4H−(1,3)ベンゾジオキシン−4
−オン、26gの上記錫化合物、9.45g(220ミリモル)の塩化リチウム
、1.7gのテトラキストリフェニルホスフィンパラジウム(0)及び90mg
の2,6−ビス−tert−ブチル−4−メチルフェノールを、100mlのジ
オキサン中にて140℃で6時間加熱した。次いで、得られた混合物を、減圧下
濃縮し、シリカゲル上でトルエン/酢酸エチルを用いてクロマトグラフィ分析を
行い、その後シクロヘキサンと攪拌した。無色の油で、収率が5gであった。
c)6−(1−メトキシピラゾール−5−イル)サリチル酸:
3.0g(11ミリモル)の上記化合物を、40mlのアセトンに溶解し、そ
の溶液を、1.77g(32ミリモル)のKOH及び3滴の水酸化tert−ブ
チルアンモニウム溶液を40mlの水に溶解した溶液に加えた。混合物を、室温
で4時間攪拌し、その容積を半分になるまで濃縮し、MTBEを用いて抽出した
。水層を燐酸を用いて酸性化し、MTBEで振とうして3回抽出した。有機層を
集め、水と飽和塩化ナトリウム溶液で洗浄し、硫酸ナトリウムで乾燥させ、そし
て減圧濃縮した。1.9g(収率)の無色固体を得た。融点は208〜218℃
であった。
d)2−(4,6−ジメトキシピリミジン−2−イルオキシ)−6−(1−メ
トキシピラゾール−5−イル)安息香酸:
1.61g(6.9ミリモル)の上記生成物c)を、50mlのジメチルスル
ホキシドに移し、1.55g(13.8ミリモル)のカリウムtert−ブチ
ラートを室温で加え、0.5時間攪拌した。その後、1.5g(6.9ミリモル
)の4,6−ジメトキシ−2−メチルスルホニルピリミジンを加え、混合物を室
温で一晩攪拌した。反応混合物を燐酸で酸性にした水に注ぎ、沈殿した固体を吸
引ろ過して分離した。その固体を水で洗浄し、減圧乾燥オーブンにて50℃で乾
燥した。収率は2.07g、融点は182〜185℃であった。
5.
2−(4,6−ジメトキシピリミジン−2−イルオキシ)−6−(1−エトキ
シピラゾール−4−イル)安息香酸(例のNo.5):
a)1−エトキシピラゾール:
104.8g(0.76モル)の炭酸カリウム及び60.1g(0.385モ
ル)のヨウ化エチルを200mlのアセトンに溶解した溶液を、29.4g(0
.35モル)の1−ヒドロキシピラゾール(DE567827に従って製造され
た)を200mlのアセトンに溶解した溶液に加え、混合物を4時間還流した。
冷却後、沈殿を吸引ろ過し、アセトンで洗浄した。まず、アセトンを、ろ液から
短いカラムを用いて大気圧で蒸留除去し、そして蒸留をその後減圧下にて続けた
(生成物は75℃/78mmで無色液体の形で蒸留された)。99.8%(GC
)の純度の35.6gの生成物を得た。
b)4−ブロモ−1−エトキシ−ピラゾール:
20.1g(178ミリモル)の1−エトキシピラゾールを、120mlの四
塩化炭素に溶解し、28.5g(178ミリモル)の臭素を122mlの氷水に
溶解した溶液を、窒素ガスを穏やかに流しながら、0〜5℃で滴下した。この温
度で、攪拌を30分間続け、反応混合物を1時間で室温に戻し、その後2.5時
間還流した。冷却後、混合物を500mlの氷水に注ぎ、有機層を分離し、水層
を塩化メチレンを用いて3回抽出した。有機層を集め、これを水、5%濃度重炭
酸ナトリウム溶液と振とうして抽出し、再び水と、更に飽和塩化ナトリウム溶液
