Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject cutter designed to carry out a cutting operation with two cutting blades similarly to that for a cutter with three cutting blades, and enabling the cutting blades to be moved by the aid of the motion of an operative piece left and right so as to be accommodated to a relatively small size. SOLUTION: This cutter for a cigar or the like is so designed as to detachably link two cutting blades 2 to each other each with a nearly semicircular blade on the tip rectilinearly along an arc-shaped locus, and insert an object to be cut into between the two blades being in detachment to cut the object in a tearing-off fashion.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a cutter for cutting an end of a cigar to produce a mouthpiece is of a scissors type in which a semicircular cutting blade is crossed, and a push cutter having a cutting blade which crosses a circular hole. Types are known. Nippers, pliers and the like are used as tools for cutting the protective coating of the electric wire. Scissor type cigar cutters generally have a structure in which two scissor pieces having a cutting blade at one end and a finger hook at the other end are pivotally supported at a fulcrum at the center, and nippers and pliers are also basic. Has a similar structure. However, in such a scissor type cutter, a delicate amount of force is required to cut all or a part of an object having a circular cross section while applying an equal force from the periphery with the same balance. In actual cutting, the cutting force from both the left and right directions of the scissors is more strongly applied, so that when the cigar is cut, the cut surface is easily deformed and a clean mouth cannot be obtained. Further, when cutting the electric wire, it is difficult to cut only the protective coating, and there is a possibility that the inner conductor may be cut or damaged.

Therefore, the present inventor has proposed a circular ring-shaped frame,
A disk-shaped rotating body rotatably mounted on the circular ring-shaped frame and having a circular hole at the center thereof, and three cutting blades connected to the ring-shaped frame and the rotating body. By rotating the body relatively, the three cutting blades are moved so as to open and close the center circular hole, and a cutter that cuts the object inserted into the circular hole evenly from the periphery thereof. Proposed. This is disclosed in JP-A-11-42377. According to such a cutter, it was possible to satisfactorily solve the problems encountered in the conventional scissor type cutter. However, in order to perform a relative rotation operation between the ring-shaped frame and the rotating body, it is necessary to fix a handle-shaped operating piece of scissors to the ring-shaped frame and the rotating body, so that the overall size becomes large and 3 There is a drawback that the cost is increased because the number of cutting blades is required.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. Referring to the drawings, (1) shows a cutter according to the present invention, in which two cutting blades (2) moving relatively close to each other by moving on a substantially straight line, and the two cutting blades
(2) and a ring-shaped connector (3) connected to the ring-shaped connector (3), and a cut object (5) such as a cigar is inserted into a circular hole (4) formed at the center of the ring-shaped connector (3). Then, when the cutting blades (2a) and (2b) are relatively approached, the cutting blades (2a) and (2b) operate so as to close the circular hole (4) and the cigar inserted into the circular hole (4). (5) is disconnected. Each of the two cutting blades (2) has a finger hook (6)
Are fixed, and as shown in FIG.
And put the two cutting blades (2) relatively close to and away from each other.

Referring to FIG. 4, the cutting blades (2) have the same shape and are combined in a symmetrical manner. Each cutting blade,
A semicircular blade (7) is formed at one end, and the other end is provided between a fixing portion (8) of the finger hook member (6) and a fixing plate (9) overlapped with the fixing portion (8). Sandwiched and finger-hung member with screws (10)
It is fixed to (6). A connecting hole (11) is drilled at one end of the cutting blade (2) sandwiching the blade (7), and a pin (12) is planted at the other end opposite to the connecting hole. An arcuate guide hole (13) is formed along the side where the connection hole (11) is formed. When two cutting blades (2) are combined, pin (12)
Engages in the arc-shaped guide hole (13), and the two cutting blades (2) approach and separate from each other while drawing an arc along the guide hole. Guide hole
(13) intersects so that the cutting blades close the hole (4) when the two cutting blades (2) come closest (see FIGS. 9 and 12), and the hole ( 4) has a length that can be opened (see FIGS. 7 and 10). Ring-shaped link
(3) consists of two connecting pieces (3a) and (3b) on the front and back, and the connecting pin (14) planted on the connecting piece (3a) on the front side is inserted into the connecting hole (11) of the cutting blade (2). The two cutting blades (2) are connected to each other by the screws (15) inserted through the connecting pieces (3b) on the back side while being engaged.

9 through the intermediate position of FIGS. 8 and 11 from the open position shown in FIG.
Then, the object is moved to the cutting position shown in FIG. At the time of such cutting,
Since the cutting blade (2) is guided by the arc-shaped guide hole (13), the object to be cut is cut not by push-cutting but by pulling-cutting, so that the object to be cut is sharpened. In addition to being able to cut lightly, a clean cut surface can be obtained. The ring-shaped connecting body (3) supports the circular motion of the cutting blade (2) while rotating by itself,
The two cutting blades (2) are prevented from separating. Cutting blade
(2) Screw the ring-shaped connector (3) and the finger hook (4)
Since it is connected with (10) and screw (15), it can be disassembled by removing the screw and screw, and the cutting blade (2)
Replacement or polishing of the blade portion (7) can be easily performed.
