様に射出成形による形成が可能で、薄肉に形成すること
が出来、従来の金属製化粧品容器の材料である真鍮やス
テンレススティールに比して軽量である特徴を有してい
る。特に、チクソモールディング法による射出成形によ
って、薄型化と同時に複雑な形状の成形が可能で意匠の
自由度が大きくなると共に、金属製コンパクトと比較し
て部品点数の削減が可能となる。更に、外観も塗装やメ
ッキなどが可能であり、特に制約がない利点がある。
