圧下され、平滑化加工が安定する。しかも、圧潰ロール
及び加圧ロールは、マンドレルに非接触状態で回転可能
に支持されているため、長時間にわたって平滑化加工を
継続しても圧潰ロール,加圧ロールとマンドレルとの間
に摩耗,焼付き等が生じることなく、内面溶接ビードが
平滑化される。このようにして、良好な加工精度で内面
溶接ビードが平滑化された溶接管は、円滑な流動状態が
確保されることから、サニタリ管,熱交換器等の部材と
して使用される。
As described above, the inner surface welding bead smoothing tool of the present invention rotatably accommodates a crushing roll and a pressure roll in roll accommodating portions formed on opposing side surfaces of a mandrel. When the crushing roll is pressed against the weld bead, the pressing roll is pressed against the inner surface on the opposite side of the welded pipe. Therefore, an unbalanced load is not applied to the mandrel, the inner surface weld bead is pressed down by the crushing roll in a predetermined positional relationship, and the smoothing process is stabilized. In addition, since the crushing roll and the pressure roll are rotatably supported on the mandrel in a non-contact state, even if the smoothing process is continued for a long time, abrasion between the crushing roll, the pressure roll and the mandrel may occur. The inner surface weld bead is smoothed without seizure or the like. In this way, the welded pipe whose inner surface weld bead is smoothed with good processing accuracy is used as a member of a sanitary pipe, a heat exchanger, and the like because a smooth flow state is ensured.

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 中心軸に関して相対向する側面にロール
収容部が形成され、溶接管の内部に挿入されるマンドレ
ルと、一方のロール収容部に収容され、内面溶接ビード
に押し当てられる圧潰ロールと、他方のロール収容部に
収容され、内面溶接ビードとは反対側の溶接管内面に押
し当てられる加圧ロールと、マンドレルに穿設された軸
孔に刺し通され、圧潰ロール及び加圧ロールを回転可能
に支持するシャフトとを備えている溶接管の内面溶接ビ
ード平滑化工具。
