Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of an insert member and the damaging of the outer frame of an outer peripheral part from being generated and easily alleviate stress on the outer peripheral part of molded products and further curtail the number of molding dies and molding manhours with the simplification of working procedures in production and efficiently manufacture insert molded items at a low cost. SOLUTION: In a method for injection-molding insert molded items by which the periphery of a platelike or a sheetlike insert member 1 made of a synthetic resin material 3 is wrapped by an outer frame 2 made of a synthetic resin material into one piece, the outer frame 2 is constituted integrally of a body part 21 and a connecting part 12 consisting of a lower member 22 and an upper member 23 which pinch the insert member 1 from both upper/lower faces through a hinge part 11. Further the upper member 23 is folded at the hinge part 11 and set in place and the connecting part 12 is removed to serve as an insertion part 13. Next the insert member 1 is introduced through the insertion part 13 and the outer frame 2 is set in the cavity of a product molding die 14. Finally the synthetic resin material 3 is injection into the outer peripheral part of the insert member 1 to integrate the outer frame 2 with the insert member 1.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, this type of insert molding has an advantage that different kinds of parts such as metal parts can be firmly fixed, and is often used for molding parts for electric equipment and the like. In order to form a small molded product, for example, a resin electric component having a plate material such as a metal electrode plate, the insert member b is put into a molding die as shown in FIG. In general, an insert molding method of covering with an outer frame portion a is performed.

Resin portion on the outer peripheral edge, that is, outer frame portion a
Only the shrinkage causes the insert plate material b to be tightened from the outside, causing deformation such as warping and waving, resulting in a defective product.
In particular, conventionally, as shown in FIGS. 5 (a) and 5 (b), when an insert plate b of a plate or sheet is fixed and held inside an outer frame a of a quadrangular product having a window frame shape, it is necessary to remove it during molding. Frame a
When an external force is applied to the insert plate material to cause deformation, the insert plate material b may be deformed or damaged. In order to reduce the effect of this external force on the insert plate, a method of coating the outer peripheral portion of the insert plate with another resin for the purpose of stress relaxation and using this as an outer frame a is often used. as shown in FIG. 5 (c) (d), respectively separately formed separately outer frame a to the body portion a 1 and the cover a 2, the body portion a 1

Furthermore, it was molded using another molding die. That is, by forming the body portion a 1 in the first molding die and preliminarily molded lid a 2 in the second molding die, the inserts sheet b
In addition, it is a general method to insert and insert a resin material for the purpose of stress relaxation into the third molding die and integrate them, that is, three molding steps using three molding dies to produce a product. Had to go through.

According to the present invention, an outer frame having a shape capable of being placed in the cavity and on which the insert member can be placed is previously formed in a molding die having a product-shaped cavity, ie, a synthetic resin material. In an injection molding method for an insert-molded product in which a plate-shaped or sheet-shaped insert member made of a synthetic resin material is integrated with an outer frame made of synthetic resin, the outer frame is sandwiched from both upper and lower surfaces of a main body portion and the insert member. The lower member and the upper member are integrally formed at a connection portion via a hinge portion, and the upper member is bent at the hinge portion to remove the connection portion to form an insertion portion, and the insert member is removed from the insertion portion. After inserting the insert member together with the outer frame into the cavity of the product molding die, a synthetic resin material is injected into the cavity to form the insert member as the outer frame. By integrally forming the product, the influence on the insert member is reduced, preventing deformation of each member, and furthermore, the molding speed and the molding speed are increased by reducing the number of molding dies and molding steps to increase productivity. Can be improved.

[0010] Incidentally, the outer frame 2 is composed of such as ABS resin, a frame-like body portion 2 1 of the substantially quadrilateral, a lower member 2 2 following this, each inner side of the lower member 2 2 to consist integrally molded upper member 2 3 which by a linking member 12 via a hinge portion 11, respectively, after bending the upper member 2 3, good assemble the tip engaging groove 16 (FIG. 2
d, FIG. 3c), the insert member 1 is inserted into the outer frame 2 and put into the cavity 15 of the molding die 14, and the synthetic resin material 3 of polyethylene or polyurethane elastomer is injected into the cavity 15. And integrated outer frame 2
When the molding is performed, the contraction force of the secondary molding is sufficiently supported by the outer frame 2 of the primary molding, and the insert member 1 does not deform. When the elastomer is used as the material to be filled in the cavity, the insert member 1 becomes thinner. Alternatively, even in the case of a sheet, good flatness is maintained and is effective. In addition, when the insert member 1 is a thin sheet, when the surface of the insert member 1 in the product forming die 14 is flush with the surface of the outer frame 2, the influence on the insert member 1 is further reduced. Also,
The synthesis to the injection of the resin material 3 is performed from the injection holes formed as required on the lower member 2 2 or the upper member 2 3 (not shown), if there is an end face opening can be carried out here.

[0012] The molded article partially cut 17 as required to the upper member 2 3 in the outer frame 2 is provided, apt to square or circular bending, so that the outer frame 2 of various shapes such as oval The outer frame 2 is inserted into the insert member 1
Together with the mold having a product-shaped cavity,
The synthetic resin material 3 is injected into the cavity of the molding die to complete the outer frame 2 integrated with the insert member. In this case, at the time of commercialization molding, since the outer frame 2 is already formed and shrunk at room temperature, a shrinkage force is generated only after a part of the outer frame after injection molding. The cross-sectional area of the secondary molded portion is suppressed by the large outer frame molded portion, and the contraction of the plate of the insert member 1 becomes extremely small, and the deformation of the plate is reduced.

As described above, according to the present invention, the outer frame for covering the outer peripheral edge of the insert member in the insert molded product is formed by the main body, the lower member and the upper member which hold the outer frame from both the upper and lower surfaces of the insert member. The upper member is bent at the hinge portion, the connection portion is removed, the insert member is inserted, and the insert member is inserted together with the outer frame into the cavity of the product molding die. By inserting the synthetic resin material into the outer peripheral portion of the insert member and integrating the outer frame and the insert member, deformation of the insert member and damage to the outer frame of the outer peripheral member can be prevented, and In addition, it is easy to relieve the stress on the outer peripheral portion of the molded product, the cost of the molding die and the molding man-hour can be reduced, the productivity can be simplified, and the insert molded product can be manufactured inexpensively and efficiently.
