2と、前記アッパーレール3を任意位置にて固定するロ
ック片5と該ロック片5が選択係合する係合部からなる
ロック機構4とを有するシート調節装置において、前記
ロック片5をロックからアンロックに変位させる作動ア
ーム7と該作動アーム7を操作する操作レバー12と
は、前記作動アーム7と前記操作レバー12の何れか一
方に設けたアーム側係合軸17と何れか他方に設けたレ
バー側係合孔20との係合部分と、前記作動アーム7と
操作レバー12の何れか一方に設けた上下方向から弾圧
するバネ体22と何れか他方の端部19との嵌合部分の
2か所により取付けた操作機構としたものであるから、
製造組立てが容易であり、異音の発生もなく、最も効果
的なバネ体22の使用方法にできる。本発明は、前記バ
ネ体22は前記作動アーム7と操作レバー12の何れか
一方に設けた所定量の「がた」を有する上下の隙間18
を形成する突出片15、16間に嵌合させた操作機構と
したものであるから、最も効果的なバネ体22の使用方
法にできる。本発明は、前記ロック機構4は左右のスラ
イドレール1の両方に夫々設け、左右両側のロック機構
4の夫々の作動アーム7を、操作レバー12の両端側に
取付けた操作機構としたものであるから、左右のロック
機構4の製造取付誤差を吸収し、製造組立てが容易であ
り、異音の発生もなく、操作感を向上させることができ
る。
