板の外周に、一定方向の斜面部分を多数個周設して形成
される。このラチェット板はコマの一端面と同軸に取り
付けられる。7は回転軸で、コマの端面中心に固着され
る角軸であって、その端部はケースに設けた孔を貫通し
て突設される。8はカムで、略L形の板体にて形成さ
れ、このカムの鋭角突部端がラチェット板の斜面部に接
触する位置にて、ケース内面にビス9にて取り付けられ
る。また、カムの一端にはピン10が貫通固着され、ケ
ースに穿設された長穴11を通ってピンの両端はケース
内外に各々突設される。12はスプリングで、ビス9に
巻回され、その一端は直線的に伸びてピン10に接し、
他端は直線的に伸びるとともにL形に折曲され、この折
曲部分は長穴内に接触している。そのため、このスプリ
ングの働きによってカム突端部は常にラチェット板の斜
面部に押圧接触している。従って、以上の構成によりコ

れは締めた弦を緩める場合に使用するものである。つま
り、通常使用時においては、ラチェット板の斜面部分に
カムの鋭角部分が押圧接触している。この状態で回転軸
を回転させると、カムの鋭角部分は斜面に沿って押し上
げられ、急斜面部分に沿って落ち込み、この急斜面部分
とカムの鋭角部分が押圧接触して回転軸の逆回転を防止
するのであるが、このままでは弦を緩めることができな
