洗浄、発熱などの作用があり、この振動波を皮膚に作用
すると、皮膚表層を殺菌して老廃物や角質層などを剥離
し、毛穴の油、汚れ、化粧の残りなどを除去して清浄化
し、皮膚表層の血行を促して組織を活性化し、筋肉の緊
張をほぐしてしわを除去するなどの美容効果がある。 【0003】超音波は、空気中では減衰が大きく超音波
を直接皮膚に放射してもエネルギーが効率よく皮膚に伝
わらない。このため、超音波の振動を効率よく媒介して
皮膚に伝えるアクチュエータが必要となる。ところがこ
のアクチュエータは、単に超音波振動子を取り付けて振
動させても強いエネルギーの振動波を発生しない。この
ため、できるだけ簡単な方法で超音波振動子の振動を増
幅させることが実用的なアクチュエータを実現する上で
の課題である。 【0004】そこで本発明は、簡単に超音波振動子の振
動を増幅して効率よく皮膚に伝えるアクチュエータを提
供することを目的になされたものである。 【0005】 【課題を解決するための手段】かかる目的を達成するた
めに、本発明は、以下のように構成した。 【0006】すなわち、振動板の一方の面に異なる振動
数の超音波振動子を取り付けて先端部を超音波振動させ
ることを特徴とする超音波振動アクチュエータである。 【0007】 【発明の実施の形態】以下に図面を参照して本発明の実
施の形態について説明する。 【0008】図1と図2に、本発明を実施した超音波振
動アクチュエータの平面図と側面図を示す。超音波振動
アクチュエータは、振動板1の一方の面を当板2で支持
し、当板2の外側面に異なる振動数の圧電セラミックス
で構成する超音波振動子3、3を固着したガラスエポキ
シ両面基盤4を一体に取り付け、これらをケース5に収
容する。このとき、振動板1の先端部aと当板2の先端
部bがケース5から露出する形になる。 【0009】振動板1は、しなやかで弾力性のある薄い
ステンレス鋼板あるいは硬質の薄銅板などの金属、ある
いはエンジニアリングプラスチックなどの樹脂で形成
し、先端部aをアール状に折り曲げて緩やかな湾曲面を
形成する。この先端部aの表面を金などでメッキすると
皮膚にやさしい感触となり、金などの触媒作用によりト
リートメントの効能が一段と増強される。 【0010】当板2は、硬質で肉厚のステンレス鋼板あ
るいはアルミ、ジュラルミン板などの金属で形成し、振
動板1の先端部a以外の部分を補強して超音波振動子
3、3の振動を振動板1の先端部aに集中させる働きを
する。 【0011】超音波振動子3、3は、先端部aに近い方
の超音波振動子3と遠い方の超音波振動子3を異なる振
動数の圧電素子で構成し、例えば、先端部aに近い方の
振動数を20kHz、遠い方の振動数を60kHzとす
る。振動数は、一方の超音波振動子3の振動数が他方の
超音波振動子3の振動数の倍数になるように設定するの
が適当である。このように、先端部aに近い方の超音波
振動子3と遠い方の超音波振動子3の振動数を異なる振
動数にすると振動板1の共振を強調し、超音波の振動波
を増幅して伝える効果がある。 【0012】本発明を実施した超音波振動アクチュエー
タは以上のような構成で、超音波振動子3、3に対し、
分極方向と電解方向が互いに逆になるように電圧を印加
し、例えば20kHzと60kHzの異なる振動数の超
音波振動を与えることにより、振動板1が曲げ変形を起
こして先端部aが超音波振動する。 【0013】超音波振動アクチュエータは、図3に示す
ように、ケース5を持って振動板1の先端部aの湾曲面
を上にして尖端部を顔面などの皮膚表面Aに軽く押し当
て、皮膚表面Aに沿って図の矢印の方向(押し方向)に
スライドする。これにより、超音波振動波が尖端部に集
中して皮膚表面を叩くように作用し、毛穴の油、汚れ、
化粧の残りなどを浮き上がらせ、皮膚表面Aを剥離して
老廃物や角質層、あるいは、にきび、吹き出物などを安
全かつ痛みなしに除去する。 【0014】あるいは、図4に示すように、ケース5を
持って振動板1の先端部aの湾曲面を下にして振動板1
の腹部を顔面などの皮膚表面Aに軽く押し当て、皮膚表
面Aに沿って図の矢印の方向(引き方向)にスライドす
る。これにより、超音波振動波が振動板1の湾曲面を通
して広範囲に拡散して皮膚表面に振動を与え、皮膚表層
