突入してコンタクトに圧接するときなどにFPCがめく
れることがない。よって接続不良等の不具合を有効に防
止してFPC接続用コネクタの信頼性を更に向上させる
ことができる。

Claims (3)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 FPCをプリント基板等に接続するため
のコネクタであって、プリント基板等に実装されるベー
スハウジングと、FPCに装着されるプラグハウジング
とを備え、上記ベースハウジングには開溝部が形成さ
れ、この開溝部にコンタクトが溝幅方向に弾性変形でき
るように内設されており、上記プラグハウジングは、F
PCの表面側に配置される表部材とFPCの裏面側に配
置される裏部材とを備え、上記裏部材にはFPCの先端
裏面に当接する支持部が設けられ、この支持部がFPC
と共にベースハウジングの開溝部に突入するとコンタク
トが変形してFPCに圧接するように構成されていると
共に、上記表部材及び裏部材は、基端間が開閉可能とな
るように幅方向に延びる回動中心のまわりに回動可能に
連結されており、FPCの導体がコンタクトに圧接する
位置でプラグハウジングをベースハウジングに係止する
ロック機構が設けられていることを特徴とするFPC接
続用コネクタ。
