Description
oggetti ornamentali preziosi precious ornamental objects
------ ------
The present invention relates to a method for the production of precious ornamental objects, such as for example rings, pendants, pendants, earrings, anklets and other similar articles of jewelery, gold and / or costume jewelery, which can be worn by a person. It is known that the objects, articles or precious ornamental artifacts wearable by people produced in the field of goldsmithing and traditional jewelery proper but also in some ways of stage jewelery (so-called costume jewelery) have long taken on countless shapes, colors and, more generally, various aesthetic effects. These objects, articles or artifacts include components of jewelery typically made of a metal alloy of precious material, for example silver or gold in their possible colors and titles, to which are often combined for setting additional elements of embellishment such as natural stones, precious or hard.
Producers and operators in the sector in question have recently been confronted with increasingly stringent and contrasting market trends and needs, also dictated by the international economic situation of stagnation and restructuring that this sector has been experiencing for some years. In fact, on the one hand, customers still strongly demand that the precious object or jewel be provided with an individualizing and personalizing gradient compared to other items already available to the public capable of arousing emotions of recognition to the wearer, appearance which requires the continuous search for new models to be proposed on the market and, therefore, production flexibility and new investments in materials and machinery.
On the other hand, and at the same time, customers increasingly require precious objects with a low selling price, an aspect that often imposes, contrary to what has just been said, a limitation in the production cost that cannot be achieved simply by acting on the reduction of labor or by resorting to less skilled and paid labor.
Do not overlook the fact that the weight with which the precious ornamental objects are currently offered on the market never drops below certain levels, also to ensure adequate mechanical resistance to the finished product that can be purchased by the user. This problem also significantly affects the production cost and, ultimately, the sale price to the end customer of the precious ornamental object: the sale price, in fact, always remains above a minimum threshold which, although contained, does not It is still optimal with a view to reducing the cost of the finished product and better satisfying the needs of the market.
In the field of goldsmithing or jewelery, therefore, there remains the widely felt need to make available precious ornamental objects that have a further reduced selling price compared to the known art, while maintaining adequate properties, such as mechanical resistance, wear resistance or ease of use, and, at the same time, possess original construction characteristics such as to transmit a new emotional and emotional value to the people who wear them.
This is done by intervening by the manufacturer mostly on the constructive form and on the raw materials used for the production of the precious ornamental object and, therefore, assuming a substantial parity of the other factors involved in the calculation of the finished product, such as mainly the labor employed.
The current invention aims to obviate the limitations of the aforementioned known art.
In particular, it is the primary purpose of the invention to devise a method that allows to produce precious ornamental objects, generally wearable by a person, endowed on the one hand with an original aesthetic effect, captivating and capable of arousing in the user a Emotion of exclusivity and uniqueness and, on the other hand but at the same time, of a lower selling price than what is allowed by equivalent methods of a known type, equal to the traditional factors involved in the calculation such as the cost of raw materials and the cost of labor. In other words, the main purpose of the present invention is to implement a method for the production of precious ornamental objects with a new and original aesthetic effect, good mechanical properties but lower weight than known objects of equivalent use in such a way as to involve a substantial reduction in the sale price immediately perceivable by customers.
Within this scope, it is the task of the present invention to devise a method for the production of precious ornamental objects that is relatively simple to implement and does not require the manufacturer to invest heavily in new machines and equipment. It is a second purpose of the invention to provide a method for the production of precious ornamental objects that allows to expand the range of aesthetic effects associated with a traditional ornamental object already precious in itself compared to the current state of the art. wearable by one person.
The said purposes are achieved by means of a method for the production of precious ornamental objects according to the attached claim 1, to which reference is made for the sake of brevity. Further detailed application features of the method of the invention are reported in the corresponding dependent claims.
Advantageously, the method of the invention allows to produce a new precious ornamental object, for example a ring or a pendant, having excellent mechanical properties, substantially comparable to those of equivalent objects of a known type, with respect to which, however, it has a weight lower, thanks to the internally hollow structure determined by the winding of the main wire in metal material at least partly precious on a shaped support core which is subsequently removed.
Still advantageously, the precious ornamental object obtained by means of the method of the invention has a rather pleasant and original aesthetic effect, capable of transmitting an emotional value and exclusivity to the person who wears it.
Equally advantageously, the method for the production of precious ornamental objects mentioned in the invention can be implemented without investing in new and sophisticated goldsmith machinery, often expensive. Advantageously, moreover, according to a preferred form of application, the method of the invention allows to modify and make the aesthetic effect of a classic ornamental object already wearable by a person more original.
The aforementioned purposes and advantages, as well as others that will emerge later, will appear to a greater extent from the following description relating to a preferred form of application of the method of the invention, given for illustrative and indicative but not limitative purposes, with reference to attached drawings in which:
- la figura 1 à ̈ lo schema a blocchi di una preferita forma applicativa del metodo dell’invenzione; - figure 1 is the block diagram of a preferred application form of the method of the invention;
- la figura 2 à ̈ la vista in pianta dell’anima sagomata utilizzata nel metodo dell’invenzione per produrre un oggetto ornamentale; - figure 2 is the plan view of the shaped core used in the method of the invention to produce an ornamental object;
- figure 3 is the side view of the ornamental object obtained with the method of invention; - figure 4 is an axonometric view from above of the ornamental object of figure 3, worn on a person's finger.
Secondo l’invenzione, il metodo comprende le seguenti operazioni: The method for the production of ornamental objects, such as in the specific case a ring A that can be worn on finger D by a person, visible starting from figure 3, is described below with particular reference to the block diagram or flow chart of figure 1 According to the invention, the method includes the following operations:
- ricavare un filo principale 1 di lunghezza prefissata realizzato in materiale metallico almeno in parte prezioso; - obtaining a main wire 1 of predetermined length made of metal material at least partly precious;
- ricavare un’anima sagomata di supporto 2, mostrata a sé stante in figura 4, realizzata in materiale malleabile; - obtain a shaped support core 2, shown separately in figure 4, made of malleable material;
- avvolgere stabilmente e secondo uno schema preordinato il filo principale 1 attorno all’anima sagomata 2 formando un corpo intermedio comprendente l’anima sagomata 2 ed il filo principale 1 modellato sostanzialmente secondo la forma dell’anima sagomata 2 stessa; - winding stably and according to a predetermined pattern the main thread 1 around the shaped core 2 forming an intermediate body comprising the shaped core 2 and the main thread 1 substantially modeled according to the shape of the shaped core 2 itself;
- separate the shaped core 2 from the main wire 1 modeled so as to obtain the ornamental object or ring, illustrated in detail in figures 2 and 3 where it is globally numbered with 10, which is thus internally hollow.
The malleable material consists of a wax mixture that solidifies faster than the traditional wax used in jewelry for lost wax casting (or investment casting) processes.
L’operazione di avvolgere stabilmente il filo principale 1 attorno all’anima sagomata 2 comprende di preferenza le seguenti operazioni: The operation of stably winding the main thread 1 around the shaped core 2 preferably includes the following operations:
- coniugare in una gola laterale 3 ricavata nell’anima sagomata 2 un filo ausiliario portante 4 di lunghezza prestabilita, realizzato in materiale metallico almeno in parte prezioso, in modo che rimanga sporgente dalla parete esterna 2a dell’anima sagomata 2; - joining in a lateral groove 3 obtained in the shaped core 2 an auxiliary supporting wire 4 of a predetermined length, made of metal material at least partly precious, so that it remains protruding from the external wall 2a of the shaped core 2;
- stably joining the main thread 1 to the protruding side wall of the auxiliary thread 4 which thus contributes to the formation of the ornamental object 10, arranging the main thread 1 around the shaped core 2 according to a plurality of lines distinct from each other and at least partly spaced. In the specific case, purely by way of example, the main wire 1 is wound on the shaped core 2 according to a plurality of lines which are substantially parallel and equally spaced, as shown in figure 3. The auxiliary wire 4 has a diameter that is not smaller than the diameter of the main wire 1 and is made of the same metal material at least partly precious as the main wire 1.
More in detail, the diameter of the auxiliary wire 4 has a value of not less than 0.8 mm while the diameter of the main wire 1 has a value in the range of 0.6 to 1 mm.
The precious metal material with which the main wire 1 and the auxiliary wire 4 are made is any of the metals chosen from the group consisting of gold, silver, palladium and platinum, in their available colors.
As regards the lateral groove 3, it affects a perimeter section 2b of the shaped core 2.
In this case, the auxiliary wire 4, after having been inserted into the annular groove 3 so as to completely occupy it, has the ends external to the shaped core 2 which are mutually constrained by means of a welding point.
Other application variants of the method of the invention, not accompanied by reference drawings, may provide a different profile for the lateral groove, as well as more lateral grooves obtained in the shaped core. Advantageously, the operation of joining the main wire 1 to the auxiliary wire 4 consists of a laser welding operation with which a first and provisional locking is substantially carried out between the aforementioned wires 1 and 4.
The operation of separating the shaped core 2 from the main thread 1 actually consists in heating the shaped core 2 until it is melted in a special oven, useful for applications in jewelery, in which the intermediate body It was previously introduced. The operation of heating the shaped core 2 to separate it from the main wire 1 is performed after the laser welding operation of the main wire 1 to the auxiliary wire 4 so that the latter is also separated from the core shaped 2 during the operation of heating the shaped core 2.
This allows the subsequent operation of stabilizing or crystallizing the coupling between the main wire 1 and the auxiliary wire 4 provided for by the method of ™ invention.
The operation of stabilizing the coupling between the aforementioned wires 1 and 4 consists, in fact, in an electrogas welding process (of the oxygen and hydrogen type), performed after the operation of heating and melting the shaped core 2 to separate it from the main wire 1 at the points where the wires 1 and 4 are joined together by means of the laser welding previously performed.
The operative measure of performing a laser micro-welding first and then, only after having separated the shaped core 2 from the wires 1 and 4, a proper welding, in the specific case for electrogas, allows to avoid the damaging effects that otherwise they would derive from the structural and / or surface integrity of the wires 1 and 4 themselves if the electro-gas welding were performed while the shaped core 2 is still coupled to the main wire 1 and to the supporting auxiliary wire 4.
It is understood that in other application variants of the method of the invention, the operation of stabilizing the coupling between the main wire and the auxiliary wire is any of the welding processes chosen by the group consisting of electroslag welding, for sintering and the like.
According to the preferred application form of the invention described here, the method includes the operation of folding the precious ornamental object 10 according to its main longitudinal direction X of development, performed after the operation of stabilizing the coupling reciprocal of the threads 1 and 4 to vary, making it more original, or, better to say, further model the shape of the ornamental object 10 attributed by the shaped core 2.
In an advantageous but not binding way, the method of the invention includes the operation of hardening the precious ornamental object 10, performed after the operation of bending the ornamental object 10 in a tempering oven at a temperature predetermined, generally about 280 ° C.
In particular, the precious ornamental object 10 is subjected to the hardening operation for an interval of time whose duration is inversely proportional to the precious metal content contained in the metal material with which the main thread 1 is made: the duration of this time interval is on average about 3 hours.
The method of the invention also includes the operation of superficially finishing the precious ornamental object 10, performed after the operation of hardening the ornamental object 10 to eliminate any surface defects deriving from the previous operations.
Preferably but not exclusively, the method of the invention includes the operation of decorating the outer surface 1a of the main thread 1, performed before the operation of stably winding the main thread 1 itself around the shaped core 2.
More precisely, the operation of decorating the outer surface 1a of the main wire 1 consists in the operation of diamonding this outer surface 1a of the main wire 1, performed in an automatic machine according to orthogonal or oblique directions of incidence with respect to the axis longitudinal defined by the main thread 1.
This diamond cutting operation of the main wire 1 takes place using a diamond having a faceted external wall, which is arranged close to the main wire 1, provided with a prismatic cut that identifies internal angles between the facets of less than 180 ° by means of which It is possible to advantageously obtain a deep incision of the external surface 1a of the main wire 1.
This guarantees that the first introduced bending operation to which the precious ornamental object 10 is subjected after the actual welding operation (with electrogas in the case described here) and the hardening operation does not involve a detachment complete or evident of the diamond particles released on the external surface 1a of the main wire 1, which thus retains its own characteristics of brilliance and brilliance unaltered over time, or in any case for much longer times than similar ornamental objects of known type.
There may be other applications of the method of the invention, not accompanied by explanatory drawings, in which the operation of decorating the outer surface of the main wire consists in the operation of polishing this outer surface. On the basis of the foregoing, it is therefore understood that the method for the production of precious ornamental objects, generally wearable by a person, achieves the purposes and achieves the aforementioned advantages. In particular, the method of the invention creates a precious ornamental object internally hollow, thanks to a studied winding of the main wire in metallic material: the ornamental object is thus extremely light and, at the same time, endowed with a voluminous effect and good mechanical properties. The shape of the shaped core, the folding operation of the precious ornamental object just obtained, as well as the ornamentation of the main wire, be it a diamond coating or a polishing, contribute to the formation of a unique aesthetic effect, particularly captivating and iridescent depending on the viewing angles.
Furthermore, the mechanical properties attributed to the precious ornamental object by the method of invention allow the execution of further processing on the finished product, such as the application of an additional embellishment wire, for example diamond, on the upper part of the € ™ ornamental object.
Moreover, the hollow structure of the ornamental object deriving from the method of the invention allows to insert one or more ornamental bodies, such as for example a laminar plate in precious metal material, surrounded by the main thread to which they are bound which further increase the level of originality of the ornamental object.
This operation can be conveniently performed after having separated, by means of its heating operation which causes it to melt, the shaped core from the main wire.
In execution, modifications may be made to the method of the invention consisting, for example, of a shaped core having a different shape from that illustrated in the following drawings.
In addition to this, other application variants of the method claimed here may provide that the operation of winding the main yarn around the shaped core is conceived differently than that previously described as a preferential one, which does not invalidate the advantage provided by this invention.
It is also emphasized that the ornamental objects obtained with the method of the invention may be different from the ring in reference to which the present description has taken place, consisting, for example, of pendants, pendants, earrings, brooches, anklets or other goldsmith and / or jewelery items.
It is clear that numerous other variations can be made to the method in question, without departing from the principles of novelty inherent in the inventive idea expressed here, just as it is clear that, in the practical implementation of the invention, the the materials, the shapes and the dimensions of the illustrated details may be any, according to the requirements, and replaced with other technically equivalent ones.
