Description
DESCRIZIONE delTinvenzione avente per TITOLO: DESCRIPTION of the invention having as TITLE:
Manipolo per trattamenti estetici e sottocutanei in ultrasuono, Handpiece for aesthetic and subcutaneous ultrasound treatments,
STORIA DELLA TECNOLOGIA HISTORY OF TECHNOLOGY
Ultrasounds have been used in medicine since the 4Q years for their property of interacting with living tissues. Several studies have shown that ultrasound is able to selectively damage the cell membrane of adipocytes.
Le incisioni cutanee necessarie per eseguire Γ intervento e la tecnica chirurgica restano comunque identiche a quelle di una liposuzione tradizionale, - In the 1980s, the use of ultrasound accompanied the traditional technique of Lipo suction thanks to machinery that allows the use of ultrasounds at the same time as a traditional suction type. Ultrasound liposuction involves Γ subcutaneous application, directly into the adipose tissue to be treated, of ultrasounds with a frequency of 20 kHz or higher: this requires Γ intradermal insertion of an ultrasound emitter handpiece not dissimilar in size to a normal lipo-aspiration cannula. The skin incisions necessary to perform the surgery and the surgical technique remain, however, identical to those of a traditional liposuction,
- Another relatively recent method (1990s) is that of ultrasonic hydrolipo-clasia).
This method involves infiltration of physiological solution into the adipose tissue and subsequently the use of so-called "high frequency" ultrasound generating machines of frequency from 1 to 3 MHz. By exploiting the properties of ultrasonic waves of high propagation in liquids it is possible to generate the so-called Cavitation phenomenon in adipose tissue. This phenomenon is determined by the dynamic depression due to the propagation of ultrasonic waves, so much so that the pressure in a point of the liquid falls below the voltage of the dissolved gases. When the absolute pressure is lower than that of the gas, micro bubbles form in the liquid present. In the next phase, the absolute pressure outside the bubbles increases, causing the bubbles to implode which release energy both in the form of heat and shock waves, causing the fat cells to collapse.
- Even more recent is the use of "low frequency" ultrasounds from 20 KHz to 50 KHz. This technique, also known as cavitational lipolysis, seems to guarantee rather satisfactory results even if certainly lower than those obtainable with liposuction. The cavitational phenomenon is conceptually identical to that previously described, however in this case the choice of using low frequency ultrasonic waves allows a deeper penetration into the tissues. With this type of treatment it is possible to reduce the consistency of the adipose tissue on the arms, legs, hips, abdomen and buttocks and to improve the imperfections of cellulite.
SVANTAGGI DELLE TECNICHE PRECEDENTI DISADVANTAGES OF PREVIOUS TECHNIQUES
Although the techniques illustrated above are widely used today, the use of each of said techniques involves numerous and obvious disadvantages.
a) La liposuzione ad ultrasuoni è un intervento chirurgico e come tale necessita di anestesia e può essere effettuato esclusivamente in un ambiente idoneo. a) Ultrasound liposuction is a surgical procedure and as such requires anesthesia and can only be performed in a suitable environment.
C) La Liposuzione ad ultrasuoni obbliga il paziente aH’impiego di guaine post intervento durante il periodo di recupero. b) Ultrasound liposuction involves a rather long recovery period for the patient from 2 weeks to 6 months. C) Ultrasound liposuction forces the patient to use post-surgery sheaths during the recovery period.
With the hydro-lipo-clasia-ul transonic Ultrasonic round is generated externally to the skin and moreover with high frequencies 1-3 Mhz. The possibility that the Ultrasonic Tonda arrives and is effective on adipose tissue is therefore not certain.
e) La idro-lipo-clasia-ultrasonica prevede comunque una serie di infiltrazioni di fisiologico o di acqua distillata. e) The hydro-lipo-clasia-ultrasonic however foresees a series of infiltrations of physiological or distilled water.
n Con la idro-lipo-clasia-ultrasonica è indispensabile ripetere il trattamento periodicamente. n With hydro-lipo-clasia-ultrasonic it is essential to repeat the treatment periodically.
g) Con la idro-lipo-clasia-ultrasonica non è possibile agire in maniera selettiva su accumuli adiposi di ridotte dimensioni “lipomi". g) With hydro-lipo-clasia-ultrasound it is not possible to act selectively on small-sized adipose accumulations "lipomas".
With cavitational lipolysis, the ultrasonic wave is generated externally to the skin and the possibility that it has the right frequency to break the adipocyte membrane is not certain.
i) Con la lipolisi cavitazionale è indispensabile ripetere il trattamento periodicamente. i) With cavitational lipolysis it is essential to repeat the treatment periodically.
j) Con la lipolisi cavitazionale non è possibile trattare accumuli di grasso presenti su viso, collo e decolleté. j) With cavitational lipolysis it is not possible to treat accumulations of fat on the face, neck and décolleté.
k) Con la lipolisi cavitazionale non è possibile agire in maniera selettiva su accumuli adiposi di ridotte dimensioni “lipomi”. k) With cavitational lipolysis it is not possible to act selectively on small-sized adipose accumulations "lipomas".
DESCRIZIONE CAMPO TECNICO TECHNICAL FIELD DESCRIPTION
The invention refers to the field of aesthetic treatments and more particularly to an ultrasonic handpiece (fig. 1, 2,3,4 lett. A) equipped with a trolley for housing a common syringe (fig. 1,2, 3,4 lett.b) and of a special connector (fig. 1,2, 3, 4 lett.c) able to transfer the ultrasonic wave directly on the needle or on the cannula of a common syringe or on an intradermal probe .
The innovative feature of this system is that the needle, cannula, or probe penetrates below the skin surface so that the release of ultrasonic waves occurs directly in the subcutaneous tissues.
A procedure has been known for some time that allows you to penetrate the adipose tissue with a cannula and promote the clasia of the adipocytes thanks to the emission of ultrasonic waves, in order to make their removal easier and quicker (ultrasound-assisted lipoaspiration).
This type of surgery obviously involves risks related to the surgery itself and to the anesthesia as well as a post-operative recovery that varies from a couple of weeks to 6 months.
The need is therefore strongly felt to have a handpiece capable of transferring the ultrasonic tube directly onto the total or partial surface of the needle or cannula of a normal syringe or onto an intradermal probe.
In questo modo si possono avere 2 vantaggi: A physiological substance or any other substance capable of emulsifying fats can be injected from the same syringe. In this way you can have 2 advantages:
1) L’onda ultrasonica viene emessa nello stesso sito dell’iniezione, contestualmente ad essa o immediatamente dopo. 1) The ultrasonic wave is emitted at the same site of the injection, at the same time as it or immediately after it.
2) Considering the property of ultrasounds of high propagation in liquids, remission of the ultrasonic wave contextual or immediately following the infiltration, allows a greater action of the wave itself on the tissue and a larger area of tissue affected by it.
3) L'onda ultrasonica a seconda della quantità di soluzione fisiologica o altra sostanza infiltrata può essere più o meno selettiva e può essere utilizzata anche per il trattamento di lipomi o piccoli accumuli di grasso, 3) Depending on the quantity of physiological solution or other infiltrated substance, the ultrasonic wave can be more or less selective and can also be used for the treatment of lipomas or small accumulations of fat,
The ultrasonic wave can also be used for treatments on the face, neck and décolleté
