Descrizione del brevetto per invenzione industriale avente per titolo:
“ESTRATTO ACQUOSO PER IL TRATTAMENTO DELLE USTIONIâ€
Campo dell’invenzione
La presente invenzione riguarda un estratto acquoso di Camomilla selvatica, Cisto marino, Trifoglio selvatico, Prezzemolo, Elicriso utile nel trattamento delle ustioni.
Stato dell’arte
La Camomilla selvatica (Matricaria chamomilla L.) Ã ̈ una pianta erbacea annuale appartenente della famiglia delle Asteraceae.
La Camomilla à ̈ nota per le sue proprietà antinfiammatorie, digestive, toniche, sedative, antinevralgiche.
Il Cisto marino (Cistus monspeliensis L.) Ã ̈ un arbusto appartenente alla famiglia delle Cistaceae.
Dal Cisto marino viene normalmente estratta una resina chiamata ladano che trova impiego principalmente in profumeria dove viene utilizzata come fissativo.
Il Trifoglio selvatico (Trifolium campestre) Ã ̈ una pianta erbacea appartenete alla famiglia Fabaceae (ovvero leguminose).
Dal trifoglio si possono estrarre ormoni vegetali, fitormoni, in particolare estrogeni, che si sono dimostrati utili nel rallentare l'invecchiamento della cute e delle mucose. Tali ormoni si sono inoltre dimostrati efficaci nel trattamento dei disturbi tipici associati alla menopausa, quali vampate, depressione, osteoporosi, malattie cardiovascolari. Recentemente, gli ormoni estratti dal trifoglio si sono rivelati utili anche contro l’ipertrofia prostatica.
Il Prezzemolo (Petroselinum hortense) Ã ̈ una pianta che appartiene alla famiglia delle Ombrellifere.
Principalmente il prezzemolo viene impiegato come diuretico, depurativo ed aforetico (le radici), emmenagogo (i semi), antisettico e antispasmodico.
L'impacco di foglie pestate può essere usato per lenire punture di insetti, contusioni e mal di denti.
L’Elicriso (Helichrysum italicum L.) à ̈ una pianta appartenente alla famiglia delle Asteraceae.
Viene utilizzato come sedativo, bechico e stimolante della circolazione sanguigna.
Sussiste la necessità di individuare preparazioni utili nel trattamento topico in particolare delle ustioni.
Sommario dell’invenzione
La presente invenzione à ̈ relativa a un estratto acquoso di una composizione comprendente:
a) Camomilla selvatica,
b) Cisto marino,
c) Trifoglio selvatico,
d) Prezzemolo,
e) Elicriso.
L’invenzione si riferisce inoltre all’uso dell’estratto acquoso come medicamento.
Descrizione dell’invenzione
Si à ̈ sorprendentemente trovato che un estratto acquoso di Camomilla selvatica, Cisto marino, Trifoglio selvatico, Prezzemolo e Elicriso à ̈ utile nel trattamento topico delle ustioni.
Pertanto la presente invenzione à ̈ relativa a un estratto acquoso di una composizione consistente nelle seguenti piante:
a) Camomilla selvatica (Matricaria chamomilla L.),
b) Cisto marino (Cistus monspeliensis L.),
c) Trifoglio selvatico (Trifolium campestre),
d) Prezzemolo (Petroselinum hortense),
e) Elicriso (Helichrysum italicum L.).
Secondo un aspetto preferito dell’invenzione, le piante possono essere presenti nelle composizioni entro i seguenti intervalli in peso preferiti:
a) Camomilla selvatica da 450 g a 600 g,
b) Cisto marino da 700 g a 800 g,
c) Trifoglio selvatico da 450 g a 600 g,
d) Prezzemolo da 450 g a 600 g,
e) Elicriso da 700 g a 800 g.
Secondo un aspetto particolarmente preferito dell’invenzione, le piante possono essere presenti nelle composizioni con le seguenti quantità in peso:
a) Camomilla selvatica 500 g,
b) Cisto marino 750 g,
c) Trifoglio selvatico 500 g,
d) Prezzemolo 500 g,
e) Elicriso 750 g.
L’estratto à ̈ preferibilmente un infuso o un decotto.
L’estratto può essere preparato secondo tecniche convenzionali note; in particolare per infusione o per decozione, come previsto, ad esempio, dalla Farmacopea.
L’estratto dell’invenzione si à ̈ dimostrato efficace nel trattamento topico delle ustioni.
In particolare, secondo un aspetto dell’invenzione, le ustioni possono essere ustioni di primo grado, ustioni di secondo grado, ustioni di terzo grado.
L’estratto secondo la presente invenzione consente, oltre al trattamento delle ustioni, di prevenire la formazione di cicatrici.
Secondo un ulteriore aspetto dell’invenzione, l’estratto può essere utilizzato topicamente per il trattamento di abrasioni cutanee, e dell’Herpes zoster (fuoco di Sant’Antonio).
Si riporta di seguito un esempio che illustra ulteriormente l’invenzione.
Esempio - Preparazione dell’estratto
L’estratto può essere preparato a partire da una composizione costituita da:
• Cisto marino 750 g,
• Elicriso 750 g,
• Camomilla selvatica 500 g,
• Trifoglio selvatico 500 g,
• Prezzemolo 500 g.
Eccipienti:
• Acqua 2 litri.
La composizione viene posta in acqua, si porta ad ebollizione e si mantiene ad ebollizione per 30 minuti a fuoco lento mescolando costantemente.
Si lascia raffreddare.
Il prodotto così ottenuto viene pressato con un torchio, il prodotto derivante viene filtrato a dare l’estratto di colore marroncino/verdastro.

- RIVENDICAZIONI 1. Estratto acquoso di una composizione consistente nelle seguenti piante: a) Camomilla selvatica (Matricaria chamomilla L.), b) Cisto marino (Cistus monspeliensis L.), c) Trifoglio selvatico (Trifolium campestre), d) Prezzemolo (Petroselinum hortense), e) Elicriso (Helichrysum italicum L.).
- 2. Estratto secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui dette piante variano entro i seguenti intervalli in peso: a) Camomilla selvatica da 450 g a 600 g, b) Cisto marino da 700 g a 800 g, c) Trifoglio selvatico da 450 g a 600 g, d) Prezzemolo da 450 g a 600 g, e) Elicriso da 700 g a 800 g.
- 3. Estratto secondo le rivendicazioni 1 o 2, in cui la composizione consiste in: a) Camomilla selvatica 500 g, b) Cisto marino 750 g, c) Trifoglio selvatico 500 g, d) Prezzemolo 500 g, e) Elicriso 750 g.
- 4. Estratto secondo le rivendicazioni 1-3, per l’uso come medicamento.
- 5. Estratto secondo le rivendicazioni 1-3, per l’uso topico nel trattamento di ustioni.
- 6. Estratto per l’uso secondo la rivendicazione 5, in cui le ustioni sono di primo, secondo o terzo grado.
- 7. Estratto secondo le rivendicazioni 1-3, per l’uso topico nella prevenzione di cicatrici.
- 8. Estratto secondo le rivendicazioni 1-3, per l’uso topico nel trattamento di abrasioni cutanee.
- 9. Estratto secondo le rivendicazioni 1-3, per l’uso topico nel trattamento dell’Herpes zoster.
