La presente invenzione ha per oggetto una composizione dimagrante a base proteica, in grado di indurre un calo ponderale nei soggetti in sovrappeso che ne fanno uso, e di stimolare l’utilizzazione di zuccheri e grassi a scopo energetico. Sono noti nell’arte diversi prodotti così detti “dimagranti†, aventi la finalità di aiutare il soggetto che ne fa uso a perdere peso, tipicamente associando tale assunzione ad una dieta ipocalorica e ad un’intensa attività fisica. L’aumento di peso corporeo avviene quando il bilancio energetico à ̈ attivo, cioà ̈ quando s'incamerano più calorie di quante se ne bruciano. La variazione di peso può essere strettamente correlata a diversi fattori quali, ad esempio, al tipo di alimentazione, all’assenza di movimento, o anche ad altri fattori ambientali, quali stress o simili. Poiché ogni cibo può essere suddiviso nei tre macronutrienti principali, proteine, grassi e carboidrati, à ̈ importante studiarne il metabolismo, cioà ̈ la loro gestione da parte dell'organismo, dalla loro assunzione fino alla loro utilizzazione e/o eliminazione al fine di poter garantire una loro assimilazione in modo corretto ed equilibrato.
