In this way the descent of the gripper in question (10) can be completed, up to the point where the respective bridge (3) does not come up against the tucking of each vessel (V).

L’ulteriore conseguenza di questo stato di cose è che Γ anzidetto gradino (20b) della contro-branca (20) si porta al di sotto del bordino scatolato (B) del vaso (V), secondo quanto espressamente mostrato in figura 4A. Quest’ultimo espediente serve a scongiurare il rischio di un fortuito disaccoppiamento, in direzione alto-basso, della rispettiva coppia di serraggio (CS) dal corrispondente tratto della parete laterale (P) del vaso (V). This last expedient serves to avoid the risk of an accidental decoupling, in the up-down direction, of the respective tightening torque (CS) from the corresponding section of the side wall (P) of the vessel (V).

La stessa figura 3 permette di verificare peraltro come le due contro-branche (20) della pinza (10) siano preferibilmente collegate per il tramite di una traversa di irrigidimento (5), la quale a sua volta, e con la medesima finalità, è resa solidale al sovrastante ponticello (3) per il tramite di un’astina verticale di collegamento (6). The same figure 3 allows to verify, however, how the two counter-branches (20) of the gripper (10) are preferably connected by means of a stiffening crosspiece (5), which in turn, and with the same purpose, is made integral with the overlying bridge (3) by means of a vertical connecting rod (6).

A tale ultimo riguardo preme sottolineare che in realtà l’anzidetta traversa di irrigidimento (5) è chiamata ad assolvere, sempre in virtù dell’intrinseca flessibilità dell’intera pinza monolitica (10), anche ad un’ulteriore importante funzione. In this latter regard, it should be emphasized that in reality the aforementioned stiffening crosspiece (5) is called upon to perform, again by virtue of the intrinsic flexibility of the entire monolithic caliper (10), also to perform a further important function.

Allorquando infatti si intenda rimuovere la pinza medesima (10) dalla rispettiva coppia affiancata di vasi (V), occorre fare in modo che gli anzidetti gradini (20b) delle due contro-branche (20) perdano il loro anzidetto allineamento con i sovrastanti bordini perimetrali (B) dei rispettivi vasi (V). In fact, when it is intended to remove the pincer itself (10) from the respective side-by-side pair of vessels (V), it is necessary to ensure that the aforementioned steps (20b) of the two counter-branches (20) lose their aforementioned alignment with the overlying perimeter edges (B) of the respective vessels (V).

Ebbene un simile effetto può essere ottenuto provocando con la mano un inarcamento verso l’alto dell’ anzi detta traversa di irrigidimento (5), cui corrisponde un allontanamento delle due contro-branche (20) ad essa associate dalle rispettive branche (2) e dunque l’estrazione dei rispettivi gradini (20b) dai sovrastanti bordini (B) dei vasi (V). Well, a similar effect can be obtained by causing with the hand an upward arching of the said stiffening crosspiece (5), which corresponds to a removal of the two counter-branches (20) associated with it from the respective branches (2) and hence the extraction of the respective steps (20b) from the overlying edges (B) of the vessels (V).
