Description

DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION

The invention presents a method for solving the problem of producing slabs of stone material reinforced by a honeycomb panel, building these reinforced slabs directly from the raw materials in a single construction process.

SETTORE TECNICO DI APPLICAZIONE TECHNICAL FIELD OF APPLICATION

The invention finds use and application in the field of the production of coatings and floors in stone material, especially for the construction and furnishing industries.

STATO DELLA TECNICA ANTERIORE STATE OF THE PRIOR ART

The problem of improving structural strength properties and other desired physical properties in flat slabs of stone material for use as coatings is well known in the industrial field of construction including naval and furnishing. It arises above all from the need to improve the natural resistance or other physical properties in stone materials used for some particular application; to reduce weight; to minimize the amount of precious or rare materials to be used as coatings. The problem has found various and pertinent solutions, for example by gluing or otherwise connecting to the internal surface of a slab of stone material a panel generally known as honeycomb, or a panel of polyurethane foam, or in general a panel, natural or artificially produced, of material that possesses the required structural properties. The panel with the honeycomb structure (honeycomb) is a preferred solution when lightness and high specific structural strength are required; when thermal or acoustic insulation properties are more important, plastic foams are better used. All those materials are industrially produced in large quantities and according to strict technical specifications, as flat panels (and also as semi-finished products to be used later in the production of the panels themselves). Therefore the technical problem described above has been solved with a variety of solutions, in the case of flat slabs of stone material. It has also been solved, in the case of non-flat sheets, with a solution proposed by this inventor in his international patent WO 2009/060492. In the case of flat slabs of stone material reinforced with honeycomb panels, however, a structural weakness has been highlighted over time and experience in the union of the panel with the slab, which has resulted over time and in particular conditions , to the detachment between these elements. The panel, produced industrially and as found on the market, is in fact covered on both sides (sandwich type) with a fabric or sheet glued to the central honeycomb structure. When applied to a slab of stone material, the honeycomb panel is glued to the stone material itself with a specific glue which forms a very solid bond between the fabric or sheet of the panel, and the stone itself. The weak point of the union between the panel and the slab of stone material is therefore in the culture that originally joins the fabric or sheet to the honeycomb structure of the honeycomb: and it is in fact this union that in certain circumstances and conditions, vanishes, leading to the possible detachment between the stone slab and its reinforcement. The present invention solves this problem by thus improving the effectiveness of the honeycomb structural reinforcements currently in use even in the case of flat stone slabs, eliminating the weak point that has been highlighted over time: thus improving their applicability in the construction field. and furnishing, particularly in their advanced sectors such as naval and yacht furnishing.

DESCRIZIONE DELL'INVENZIONE DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Conceptually: given a slab of stone material (one face of which will be the external face of the finished product); a reinforcement material (which can also have other desired physical properties), and a glue to be interposed between them to join them stably, I propose to operate in such a way as to interpose, between the slab of stone material and the reinforcement, the material that improves it the union and on the other hand any material that could weaken this union must be eliminated; and to increase, as far as possible, their surface wetted by the glue; to use a single specific and optimal glue for the materials to be glued; and to let it mature, for the necessary time, in optimal conditions of temperature and pressure. The conceptual method described above will be better understood with the following examples.

UN MODO ESEMPLARE DI APPLICAZIONE DEL TROVATO AN EXAMPLE WAY OF APPLYING THE FOUND

A nylon sheet or other anti-adhesive material will be spread on a work surface; over the nylon sheet a flat weave fiber fabric will be spread (preferably in glass or silicon fiber or other that can usefully be used for specific purposes); an adhesive (preferably a structural epoxy resin) will be poured and spread uniformly on the fabric in sufficient quantity to abundantly impregnate the fabric and wet the reinforcement material that will be applied to all the parts in contact with it and around them. resting on top of the fabric. The reinforcement material proposed here is the honeycomb structure, available and supplied on the market, as a semi-finished product, in compacted rod form, in given heights and dimensions, in aluminum or other metals. This rod is opened like an accordion, pulling it laterally, to form a sort of reticular structure, of cells of a predetermined height but with width and length determined by the opening traction. This structure, thus open, is placed on top of the resin-impregnated fabric so that the resin bathes abundantly by surface adhesion, in the immediate vicinity of the contact points, the walls of the cells themselves. 11 everything is taken to the oven for a first maturation of the resin. The face of the slab of stone material to be reinforced will have the rough surface finish that derives from cutting, flattening or other methods of working the surfaces. A flat weave fiber fabric will be spread over this face and an adhesive will be poured and spread evenly on the fabric: all as described above, the honeyeomb reinforcement previously prepared is thickened from the oven, this will be placed, with its face uncovered honeycomb, on the resin-impregnated fabric that covers the slab of stone material, so that the resin itself bathes the walls of the cells themselves by surface adhesion, in the immediate vicinity of the contact points. 11 everything is brought into the oven and kept in optimal conditions of temperature and pressure, for the final maturation of the resin. The result is a new product which, due to its resistance and durability characteristics, is very advantageously compared to what is currently offered on the market. It also appears in a reduced version, which however is still proposed here, in which the fusion of a fabric interposed between the slab of stone material and the bare honeyeomb structure was to be omitted.
