Apparato (18) per chiudere un contenitore (1) provvisto di un corpo (2) in materiale infrangibile avente un’imboccatura (3) larga per definire un bicchiere, un calice o un boccale, e avente un coperchio (7) amovibilmente associabile a detta imboccatura (3) mediante un accoppiamento filettato, detto contenitore (1) essendo riempito con una bevanda, caratterizzato dal fatto che comprende: - un equipaggio (19) mobile da una posizione sollevata, di non interferenza col corpo (2) del contenitore (1) appoggiato su un basamento (20), e una posizione abbassata, in cui definisce una camera (21) chiusa contenente al proprio interno l’imboccatura (3) del corpo (2); - un primo e un secondo condotto (23, 24) comunicanti con detta camera (21) per estrarre gas dalla camera (21) e introdurvi un gas di riempimento; - un manipolatore (25) mobilmente connesso all’equipaggio (19) mobile e configurato per afferrare il coperchio (7) ed avvitarlo al corpo (2) del contenitore (1).
