Titolo: OMBRELLONE PARASOLE Title: PARASOL
D E S C R I Z I O N E DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a sunshade umbrella.
Sunshade umbrellas are already known on the market which comprise a support stem, intended to be driven into the sand, and a guide stem able to be inserted coaxially into the support stem. A sleeve is slidingly associated with the guide rod to which a plurality of rods are articulated, which during the upward translation allow the opening of a plurality of rods articulated to a sort of hood, integral with the top of the guide rod. , and on which a fabric is secured which thus forms a sun canopy.
A problem often complained of is that the support stem, for obvious reasons linked to the dimensions, is separated from the guide stem. This implies that during the transport both hands must be engaged to grip the support stem and the guide stem; or to release one of the hands it is necessary that both the support rod and the guide rod are tied together.
The aim of the present invention is to obviate the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide a parasol which does not have the previously mentioned problems.
Within the scope of this technical aim, an object of the present invention is to provide an umbrella which achieves the preceding aim with a simple structure, relatively easy to implement in practice, safe in use and effective in operation, as well as having a relatively low cost.
This task and these purposes are all achieved by the present sunshade umbrella, comprising a support stem, intended to be driven with one end into the ground and with the other end to engage removably and coaxially with a guide stem, a plurality of elastic rods articulated in a radial pattern to a hood provided at the top of said guide rod, and a plurality of rods articulated at one end in a median area of said slats and at the other end articulated in a radial pattern to a sleeve sliding along said guide rod between a closing position of said slats and an opening position of said slats, in which said sleeve is removably engaged with retaining means provided on said guide rod, characterized in that said support rod is telescopically guided outside said rod and that said sleeve defines internally, with respect to said guide stem, an interspace accessible to said support stem by means of expandable openings, said support stem in the travel through said gap being optionally adapted to disengage said retention means from said sleeve.
Ulteriori particolarità risulteranno particolarmente chiare ed evidenti dalla descrizione dettagliata di una forma di esecuzione preferita, non esclusiva, di un ombrellone, secondo l'invenzione, illustrata a titolo indicativo, ma non limitativo, nelle unite tavole di disegni, in cui: Further particularities will become particularly clear and evident from the detailed description of a preferred, non-exclusive embodiment of an umbrella according to the invention, illustrated by way of example, but not of limitation, in the accompanying drawings, in which:

- la fig. 9 è una vista parzialmente sezionata di figura 8. - fig. 9 is a partially sectioned view of Figure 8.
With particular reference to these figures, the reference numeral 1 generally designates an umbrella according to the invention.
The umbrella 1 comprises a support stem 2 of hollow cylindrical shape having at one end 3 a tip 4, through which the support stem 2 is driven into the ground, and at the other end 5 an opening 6 through which a stem guide rod 7 is telescopically guided in the support rod 2. The support rod 2 is movable above the guide rod 7 and is removably lockable at adjustable heights by expansion connection means 8 which are provided at the terminal 9 of the guide rod 7. The expansion connection means 8 comprise a threaded frusto-conical shank 10, integrally supported by the terminal 9, which ends in correspondence of the extreme zone with a mushroom-shaped pin 11 of cylindrical shape. Associated with the shank 10 by screwing is a bushing 13 having on one side 14 a threaded axial seat 15 with a cross section complementary to the shank 10 and on the other side 16 a cylindrical seat 17 intended to receive the head of the pin 11 (fig. 7). The bushing 13 on the cylindrical surface comprises notches 18 obtained along the directives and defining segments 19 connected in a zig-zag manner by transverse portions 20. An annular groove 21 is formed in correspondence with transverse portions 20 integrally housing an annular element 22 which consists of a ring of elastic rubbery material which clamps the segments 19 on the shank 10. Conveniently this element 22 has a friction function with which it interacts with the internal wall of the support rod 2 to oppose the rotation of the bushing 13 so that the screwing of the shank 10 transmits to the axial seat 15 a radial force capable of causing the bush 13 to expand against the internal wall of the rod 2, thus locking the guide rod 7 with respect to the support rod 2 at the desired height by friction. The simple unscrewing of the shank 10, obtainable by rotating the guide rod 7, it disengages the bushing 13 allowing it to slide relative between the support stem 2 and the guide stem 7.
The guide rod 7 in correspondence with the terminal 23 opposite the terminal 9, comprises a hood 24 to which a plurality of slats 25 supporting the sunshade 26 are articulated in a radial pattern. The ends 27 of rods 28 are articulated in the median area of the slats 25 having the others 29 articulated to a collar 29a of a tube 30, movable along the guide rod 7, between a closed position and an open position of the slats 25.
The sleeve 30 has a substantially cylindrical shape and encloses with the guide rod 7 a gap 31. The sleeve 30, in correspondence with the opposite ends, defines expandable openings 32 having flared edges and formed by a plurality of flexible tabs 33 able to expand in the contact with the end 5 of the support stem 2. A slot 34 is provided in the median area of the sleeve 30 in which traditional retaining means 35 are removably engaged. The retaining means 35 consist of a button 36 housed in a seat 37 of the stem 7 and mobile, as opposed to a spring, in a radial plane. The button 36, of substantially triangular conformation, comprises a rectilinear section 38, which meets with a stop 39 of the slot 34, and a convex section 40 interacting with the end 5 of the support stem 2.
The way to open and close the umbrella is normally done. In particular, when the umbrella is closed, after having released the expansion means 8, the end 5 of the stem 2 can engage in the interspace 31 and, by acting on the button 36, release the tube 30 which, sliding on the stem 2, allows the folding of the slats 28 and the closing of the umbrella (see fig. 2), while the stem 2 telescopically overlaps the stem 7. The length of the umbrella is therefore greatly reduced without requiring the separation of the two stems as takes place in traditional umbrellas.
It has thus been seen how the invention achieves the proposed aims.
The invention thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the inventive concept.
Furthermore, all the details can be replaced by other technically equivalent ones. Advantageously, the tip 4 is protected by a sleeve 41, (fig. 2) which, when the stem 2 is driven into the ground, is removed and superimposed on the cap 24.
