Abstract

Un elettrolita polimerico solido, in forma di membrana, costituito da una soluzione di un composto ionico in un polietere reticolato inglobante un plastificante liquido, viene ottenuto:a) copolimerizzando un vinil etere di formula:R-(O-CH2-CH-)n -O-CH=CH2 (I)dove: R indica il radicale metile o etile;n è un numero intero variabile da 1 a 16con un allil vinil etere di formula:CH2=CH-CH2-(O-CH2-CH2-)m -O-CH=CH2 (II)dove: m è un numero intero variabile da 1 a 10,con un rapporto molare tra (I) e (II) compreso tra 70/30 e 95/5, per ottenere un copolimero dotato di insaturazioni alliliche;b) idrosililando il doppio legame allilico del copolimero ottenuto nello stadio (a) per reazione con un alcossi silano scelto tra trimetossi e trietossi silano, per ottenere un copolimero idrosililato;c) reticolando il copolimero idrosililato ottenuto nello stadio (b) per mezzo di un reticolante diprotico, operando in soluzione in un plastificante, scelto tra un oligomero o un solvente dipolare aprotico in quantità da 20 a 80% in peso, in presenza di un composto ionico ed evaporando i composti bassobollenti formatisi nella reazione di reticolazione per ottenere una membrana in grado di tenere inglobato il plastificante.Detto elettrolita polimerico solido è meccanicamente resistente, dimensionalmente stabile e altamente conduttore anche a basse temperature. L'elettrolita polimerico solido può essere utilizzato quale separatore elettrolitico in dispositivi elettrochimici, in display ottici ed in sensori.
